My time is being spent helping a couple local Food Banks get prepared for the possible stoppage of SNAP benefits for those that will be in need in case of that event ..

It's somehow odd that Halloween falls on the day before SNAP possible stoppage .. folks will be handing out candy treats to the kids, and the next day, families / old folks, etc will not get funded for basic food they will desperately need ..

All regular STL Food Banks are on high alert, and rightfully so ..

Although the quote is falsely attributed to Marie Antoinette, 'Let Them Eat Cake' still seems appropriate ..
