    Good morning shinies,

    First the sad news:

I took the opportunity to place one last order, they are running clearance deals already.
But I will miss Steampipes and the people behind the brand.
Speaking of sad news and quite a bit of a shock it's officially official that Vicious Ant has closed up shop as well. Although I've well and truly finished up purchasing any VA mods I will definitely miss them and the couple of people who worked there that I met along the way:thumb:

    Wow, I didn't know that.
They've been around for years too.

They've been around for a very long time and were very popular too so it was a surprise!
I started getting really interested in High End after I bought a Limelight Wicket, VA has always been there with a fantastic reputation and very popular.

Steampipes was founded in 2013, and when they launched Corona there was a lot of hype already then, Cabeo was also a real struggle to get hold of in the first year.
I still remember when they put out 150 pieces of Cocoon, and there were over 3000 who clicked to buy, ended up with the server crashing lol

    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning shiny people. It’s sad news when any vape related shop closes. I never bought anything from steampipes. I never got really heavy into high end mods. My budget just never really allowed it. I did pick up one VA mod used and love it.

I think Steampipes Corona was their biggest success, I bought mine around 2022, and it has serial number 31387, I would call that a big success when it comes to high end.
Cabeo which is in my opinion a much better atty, I have no idea how many they have sold, s/n 5000-6500 is where mine is, but I might get an idea of how many they have made since I bought a Cabeo today that I will have lying around for parts if the worst happens, paid 84€ for it. What is good about Cabeo apart from the fantastic wick system, is that it takes a drip tip and a peek inlay and jet kit to change from RDL to MTL and the top cap is used to narrow in if needed.

I had a shopping list ready for black friday, it just came a little earlier than I planned.
If I had been better prepared I would have bought with Knipex sidecutter for 10€ etc too.

I don’t check in here often, but I do think of you a lot. So sorry to hear this. About the coughing… aside from trying salts, you might think about your pg/vg ratio and how fresh yours are. I know they’re not supposed to go bad, but it might not hurt to buy some new ones and try tweaking your mix. I cannot go over 75% vg I also can’t use some flavors.

I love and miss you all but I haven’t been hanging around because I have so much stuff and you know how FOMO I get.

Plus I felt like a fraud; I started smoking a bit after my son died. Not heavy, but still…

Then in August I had a heart attack.

So I ended up getting a stent, and when the doc came to ICU to see how I was doing, he told me I had a 99% blockage “which is nowhere near 100%” and I was so out of it I just said ‘ohhh, okay’. Took me two days to get the joke.

He’d asked me before if I smoked led and I was honest, less than half a pack. He asked me again and I gave the same answer. So he looked at me sternly and said, No. How much do you smoke now? And I said, ‘Well I don’t anymore!’

I went cold turkey. I wish I could say it’s because I’m being proactive about my health, and that’s partially true, but also, I like that doctor, and he’s rather good looking and has a lovely accent. I’d probably do anything he asks.
Thanks D, I appreciate you checking in and making suggestions for me. I am sorry to hear about your heart attack. If memory serves me correctly, you have lost a husband and a son in the last five ish years? I would have smoked too. But we know we cannot and I am glad you got it under wraps again.

@chanelvaps before spending more money have you tried just adding a couple drops of distilled water to your tank? Works wonders for me.
I think you recommended this long ago. I need to try it. Just use a dropper and add some drops straight into the tank?

Yep, easiest way to find out if it helps. If it helps start out with 3% in a bottle and go up/down from there. Just use any ejuice calculator.
