Vitamin E in flavor bases,

I recently did a diy order, and one of the flavor that I got was a key lime. I was looking at the bottle and the last ingredient is vitamin E. I know vitamin e acetate can seriously mess up your lungs. But I haven't been able to find anything online about normal vitamin E, I know that it's used for keeping oils from going rancid but I have reservations about it. Should I not vape this flavor base?

Ok, well now I gotta ask for the recipe or link to it if you don't mind.

Years ago a friend told me about a cabbage soup that was recommended for weight loss. Being underweight I didn't have that reason for trying it, but it was delicious. The recipe has disappeared, but I remember cabbage and celery were in it and no meat. It might have been a weight watchers meal?
The soup was WW and it is just celery, cabbage, spices and tomato juice.

Melted Cabbage:
350 degrees

-I head of cabbage, cut into wedges (4-6), leave core on and cut diagonal wedges through the core. This helps hold it together.
-2 Tbsp butter
-2 Tbsp garlic, minced or you can use powder in the amount you like
-1/2 small onion (I used onion powder, 1 Tbsp)
-2 cups chicken stock/broth
-3 oz of softened cream cheese
-1/2 c grated parmesan
-1/2 tsp of xanthan gum (or cornstarch), 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning, 2 tsp red pepper flakes (opt)
-olive oil for sautéing

Sautee the onion in olive oil until tender. Remove onions to the baking dish. Put cabbage wedges in the oil and char on all sides (takes about 6 min on each side)
Put cabbage in the baking pan. Add cream cheese and butter to the pan and heat until melted. Add stock and spices and stir until thickened. Pour the cheese mixture over the cabbage and bake at 350 for approx 50 min. Watch for browning, mine took less time.

The old Millenium Hotel in downtown STL is finally coming down, after having been vacant for some time .. oh, the wild days and nights back in the 1980's .. if walls could talk .. sad to see it go .. Your room would be pie shaped, which was quite a trip and a little tough to get used to .. all the Celebrities and concert acts would stay there, you never knew who you'd run into .. the top restaurant rotated, and was the best view of any fireworks as well as being the place to take anyone you wanted to impress, especially the ladies .. you could even see down into the old Busch Stadium, which is also gone ..

Wow, that gave me a flashback to the Space Needle. The 2nd time I went up, I really thought I would have a heart attack looking through the glass elevator. I swore I would never go up again and I didn't. I think it was the beginning of my fear of heights.

Picture of Your Setup Part 3!

Come on guys, that's a flashlight, not a vape :D

Well, some flashlights are multipurpose,

I don’t know how much it is now but early in my mixing days I calculated roughly the cost of mixing a 30ml bottle of diy and it was less than thirty cents. It can vary a little depending on what and how much flavoring you use. A liter of 100mg nic lasts me 4-5 years. PG and Vg last a long time and most flavors are pretty inexpensive.
The problem is, they're sold in large amounts, like a gallon the smallest. And I'm not a fan of storing it for a long time. I want to buy it in a container that will be used within 6 months at most. I prefer a maximum of 500 ml.

Must be magic because it is delicious. I will be making it again, for sure.

During my last job I turned 67 so I could get SS and earn as much as I wanted without affecting the SS. Started the SS and did crazy amounts of overtime for a year. The money was nice but it burned me out. Then one of the other mechanics quit and they wanted me to do even more overtime, so I retired .

How long until you get to retire?
I've been retired for 13 years, August 2012.

Makes me wonder what new and improved idea will show up next. I've never bought into any of them mostly because I believe in everything in moderation. We just try to eat balanced meals made in my own kitchen.

We may have reached the plateau, if you've got the money or the insurance to cover it ::

Wegovy and Zepbound .. seem to be the weight loss Holy Grail these days .. which, makes sense in a country where the easy way is always the best way .. IMO, we've entered a whole new Dimension in body transformation, with a myriad of surgeries, injections, etc ..

Back in the day, we had amphetamines that were easy to get .. I lived a lot of years abusing my body with various unsavory habits and lifestyle .. yet, it amazes me I'm still around .. Keith Richards eat your heart out ..

Me, I still stick to the Old Ways .. I get up every day, I eat 3 small meals a day, I still go to the workshop and work at least 5 days a week because I can, I stay connected, I do volunteer work, I keep my mind and my body as active as I can .. I still drink in moderation, get 8 hours sleep per night, (admitted use of medicinal help), continue to nurture my artistic side .. and speak to a shrink once a week for an hour for mental health ..

I still struggle with maintaining a consistent positive outlook, but that's the climate we live in, at least if you're a thinker ..

The reward, at the end of the day is, when I have my regular 6 month check up, my DR says 'For your age, Willie, you're in surprisingly good health .. '

15 years on the vape now, and my lungs are clear .. yeah, I've still got the aches and pains, but that's just life telling you you're still around ..

Lastly, my philosophy continues to be, it's quality of life, not quantity .. I've got a solid DNR in place since I absolutely refuse to end up in a diaper and long term care .. if I were to receive a dire prognosis of any sort, especially dementia / Alzheimer's, I've pack up and go to Switzerland and get it over ..

Over the years, I've received the Crystal Clear message that most (if not everyone) in this thread do not like snow or winter. At all.

Clearly, I am obviously the Weird One here who enjoys winter and snow.

:lol::lol::lol:
I came from a cold place up by the Scottish border. Indiana heat was hard. You can only take so many clothes off but it's easy to put on more. It's still a relief to me when the temp goes down and the snow arrives. Snow is fun.

Guess you're not quite the only Weird One here.
