I'm a bit scared of mech mods, in the sense that I'm not very good with fixing/handiwork, and I get this impression mech mods require a bit of that knowledge. But it looks like the eVic is a good choice in my case. The bells and whistles are also a plus, I like silly gadgety things like 'puff meters' or whatever :p

I saw your post on getting a black tongue. I have it too. Just started yesterday and I've been vaping for 2 months; the same pg flavour as I struggled to find any I liked.

Just wondering if you got rid of it and how you did it. Would love some advice if you have any as it is freaking me out a little.

No need to be sorry ;) I totally agree though... I'll find something when the time is right. I saw that one on ebay earlier and noticed the price increase. I found the same thing when looking for my rainbow spinner. People raising the price sky high because its pretty. Its borderline criminal! :)

I'd aim to stay under $100 with a genuine MPT2 (which I've found on ebay with extra coils for as cheap as $14) Hubby and I put off Christmas for each other until taxes come in. I told him this morning that this is what I want for my 'Christmas' present. If I'm gonna put the money into a mod I'd just as soon end up with quality batteries and charger also. I'm a silly rainbow addict... Though I have seen some cool rainbow skins.
What I've always done is buy the Mods separate from the batts and charger. For batteries here's a reputable and reasonably priced Vendor:

Just realize the batteries and charger are low quality. And yes the ProTank is not genuine. Seeing as you have another month let's see if anyone can come up with a sale. Sad cuz the Rainbow finish- all that's done is they torch the tubes before putting the Mod together.

That seems pretty reasonable... I would send them a msg before ordering... and can't order for another month probably, this is twice the cost of my current setup... It does say protank style tank... I don't like that and would probably order another MPT2
