DIY Flavor Shack (DIYFS) Flavor Reviews by SessionDrummer

Just picked up the following, and EVERY single one, smells OUT of this world, out of the bottles. I gotta read up ^^^^ @Beaufort_Batches notes above (thanks for that BTW), and I have to research the percentages on the ones he didn't mention. WOW, these REALLY smell good. I don't want to RUSH into mixing them, maybe go to heavy and blow it, as I only got the very small glass capped bottles. Any thoughts, notes, or help is always welcome.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

bWPVmZC.jpg

Figuring out the percentages now before mixing... After much research and only BB's notes to go on, decided to go a flat 8%.

**Holy Vanilla (DIYFS) 8% (4-29-18)** -- Holy Vanilla ehhh ?? Well let's see here. What IS in this delicious vanilla ? This is a very complex vanilla to say the least. Not just the typical light airy vanilla, or the deep dark vanilla, but a very good, full blending. It is very full and rich @ 8%, has a buttery/butterscotchy'ness to it. On the second tester tank already, and can't put it down. Starting to see what all the hype is about. Every once in a blue moon, I almost got a whiff of a wintergreen, but who knows where that came from. If you want a rich, full vanilla, with a nice buttery, butterscotch-ish bonus, you cannot go wrong with this one. I get some off notes from some of CAP's vanillas, but not this one. Won't throw my others out, but I can see this one getting used a lot. No choice, but to go **10/10** on this one also.

**Blueberry Muffin (DIYFS) 8% (4-29-18)** -- I'm starting to see a trend here, for my flavor profiles with DIYFS. OUTSTANDING BBM here guys/gals. The BB is very good, and doesn't overpower the muffin. It reminds me of a mix of TPA BB Wild and RF SC BB for comparison. It's harder to 100% nail down, because DIYFS got this one right, i.e. not all BB and a hnt of bakery like some others. The muffin isn't just a generic "bakery" element tossed in, it actually tastes, like a muffin !!!! Sweet, bready/cakey and resides right up there in the front of the mix with the BB. The two are paired beautifully and this is only my third DIYFS tester, I'm wondering if I went too high @ 8%. Not that it's bad, or overbearing, but a thought. About the only negative (as if) would be when smelling it OOTB there is a slight tart you can smell, that seems to not carry over in the mix, but that's probably due to the muffin mega'ness. If you want a BBM I don't think you can go wrong with this. **9.5/10**.

**Donut (DIYFS) 8% (5-1-18)** -- Donut, how do I love thee ?? Very much. I think it is VERY hard to find a good donut flavor. CAP's choco glazed it great, but mostly for the chocolate. CAP's glazed donut is closer, but I do tend to get the play doh from it. The great news, is NO play dough here, BUT the bad news, was at 8%, really didn't get much donut. Nicely sweet, vanilla, but not much beyond that. WILL re-mix at a higher rate, but as this flavor is quite dark, even at 8% not sure on gunking. Sadly, just not a lot of donut here. **5/10**.

**Cookie (DIYFS) 8% (4-28-18)** -- O.M.G. !!!!!! Let's start this one off the easy way, **10/10**. WHY haven't I tried this brand before ?? This is, hands down, the baddest ... cookie, I have ever vaped. PERIOD. Had a lot of trouble trying to find into on what percentages to mix DIYFS flavors at. At 8% the cookie is excellent, delicious, and outstanding. All of the elements are there you would expect in a cookie, great bakery elements, Getting slight, if any, choco elements, but it's super duper fine, just like it is. RUN, don't walk to order this. WILL be getting a BIG bottle of this, and may try mixing higher to check thresholds. **10/10**.
**Additional Notes:** Continued testing of this proves to be hard to fully explain it’s goodness. Vanilla, butter, bakery, hint of chocolate, no dryness whatsoever and with @Sprkslfly’s assistance, would say very similar to a Toll House cookie.

**Vanilla Custard (DIYFS) 8% (5-1-18)** -- I'm one of the few, who cannot vape CAP VC, something in it just doesn't agree. About the only VC I can vape is TPA VC, and I get no pepper notes from it like some other people as a disclaimer. @ 8% this was nice, somewhat sweet, creamy and full, and although I did get some of the off note that I get from CAP VC it was more relaxed, so I could actually vape this. I do not get a lot of eggy'ness from it, which is good for my tastes. It had almost a pudding element to it, but lower in the profile. Although it had some elements similar to CAP's this one is preferable to me. For it's profile, and with the slight pudding kick, safe to say this rides in high @ **7.0/10**. If you are NOT put off by CAP's VC, you will probably rate it higher._

**Gooey Butter Cake (DIYFS) 8% (4-30-18)** -- Gooey Butter Cake ehhh ??? Don't think I've ever tried one before, but here goes. This one was the first one that I felt maybe going higher than 8% would benefit it (and per @Leilani's comments to that effect). Still really good and fairly true to the name even at 8%. They really got the white/yellow cake part right, and it sure seems buttery, but as an accent, not a top note. At this percentage it's an even sweet, bakery flavor, with buttery'ness and some icing in there for good measure. I think this one is good enough to warrant a re-test at maybe 11% just to see if the buttery part takes off higher. As it stands, a really good cake. Nothing off-putting or artificial, and the cake really comes through on this one. Will add notes if the higher tester boosts the buttery'ness or gooey'ness. As it stands, solid at **9/10**.

**Angel Food Cake (DIYFS) 8% (6-30-18)**
-- It's starting to seem like DIYFS really does cookies/cakes/pastries right, and this is no exception to that. Very light, and full (yes, light and full), fluffy Angel Food Cake here people. Smelled exactly like it before mixing, improved after steeping, and right out of the tank. It is spot on IMO. What I did notice at this percentage is it was maybe at or over the correct usage limit. Not cloying, but just felt like maybe it was a bit high. Lucky for me, I could test that on the spot. Had the Steam Crave v.1 full @ 3ml, poured out maybe 1/3 of that, topped off with some PG, shook up, and continued. At the lower level the upper limit-ish taste went away, but the buttery light Angel Food Cake remained. This one appears to benefit a bit lower than 8%, perhaps 4-5% might be better. All in all, can't find fault with this one at all. **9.5/10**.

**Raspberry Cookie (DIYFS) 8% (06-30-18)** -- First things first, this one had a fairly dark purple/pink color. Natural, artificial ?? Not sure. The raspberry in this was pretty good, with a nice dark-ish raspberry flavor, somewhat sweet, with a tad of tart, but not much. Very forward in the mix as expected, but not overpowering or cloying. The bakery element followed it nicely, but somewhat behind the raspberry. This could be said to be the opposite of the DIYFS Bueberry Muffin wherein the two were move evenly mixed. This doesn't make this bad, just as in comparison between the two. Because the cookie is lower in the mix, it is harder to try and pick out elements of it, but more that it is just present in the mix. Overall the mix is quite good, with nothing off putting or overly artificial tasting, with a good amount of sweetness. With the coloring issue aside, rating it a solid **7/10** for flavorings.

**Orange Cream (DIYFS) 8% (7-01-18)** -- 2 hours sleep after being up for 26 hours for the Tesla, Joan Jett, Styx concert, so bear with me hehe. OK, is there any way an Orange Cream could compete with TPA's ?? Kinda. Is it orangey and creamy ?? Yes. Overall the mix was good with elements of both, but not 100% sure on the orange. Will be hard to explain, but there was an overtone on this one, and not sure if it was the orange or the cream (or both) that left me wanting. Wasn't terrible, but it was there all throughout. I think TPA wins on this one for a creamier, better orange. This one doesn't race to the bottom of the pack, just not the top. Evenly mixed, good sweetness, just that darned undertone that lingered. Your own mixing/testing mileage will vary, so try it and decide for yourself. Will leave it at **6.5/10**.

**Chocolate Marshmallow Graham Cookie (DIYFS) 8% (6-27-18)** -- Because of my love for DIYFS Cookie and S'mores in general this one I had to try. Let's start out by saying if you love the Cookie, you WILL love this one. If you read my review on the Cookie this will make more sense. The beloved cookie is in here, BUT, with some minor yet distinct differences. The fresh buttery bakery-ness is much lower in this mix, which is actually good. Almost even with the cookie, is a very nice graham which I still cannot place as a particular vendor's. Sometimes I would get a slight hint of coconut finish, other times not, so it's very low. The chocolate and marshmallow are lower in the mix than the cookie or graham, which again, really works. It's like a hint of chocolate, with some marshmallow mouthfeel and sweetness but not a identifiable marshmallow taste. In summary, this one was really great, and wow'd me like the cookie, minus some of the buttery bakery notes, with a great mid-strong graham element, finishing with a good marshmallow and a hint of chocolate. Very even, fairly sweet, great mouthfeel, and despite being somewhat of a coil gunker JUST like the cookie, it's too damn good to complain about it. **9.6/10**.

**Peanut Butter Expert (DIYFS) 4% (06-30-18)** -- Perhaps I should have listened to @Beaufort_Batches as this one @ 4% had a rather overpowering burnt note to it. Peanuts were in there, some sweet, and some creaminess, but I couldn't shake the burnt note on this one. Seeing his much lower numbers, this must be the cause. I will have to re-test this one at much lower than 4% to see what changes. At **4% however, it would rate a 2/10**. Beaufort nailed the taste below.

TFA Peanut Butter with Flavorah Peanut Butter

**Apple Crumble (DIYFS) 8% (06-30-18)** -- This one, proved to be a very interesting one. The first thing that hit me was a very bright apple, almost Fuji like, followed up by a nice crumble blanket that it was wrapped in. The apple was bright and tart-ish, not like my current fav FLV Apple Filling which has a darker/fuller/richer overall taste. Granted one is a apple filling, and this an Apple Crumble, just for comparison. They did a good job NOT making a crust element, but actually more of a crumble, which was impressive. There is a slight amount of cinn/spice, but again, very low, not like FLV Apple Filling where it is far more predominant. The apple and crumble are evenly mixed, with a very satisfying overall feel and vape. For my personal preferences, not sure if the brighter Fuji like apple does it as much justice as it deserves. Not bad in any way, maybe not my preference. After continued vaping, does seem to be somewhat of a cream element in there, not really ice cream-ish, but in that area, which helps to round it out. Your preference may vary, but leaving it at a **7/10**.

**Cherry (DIYFS) 8% (06-30-18)** -- Thus far, found DIYFS does a lot of things right, but what about the Cherry ?? Well not so much. Fairly dark in color, and did have some hints of cherry in it, but whatever cherry there was, was overshadowed by some short of a malty-ish, chocolate-ish note. There was no medicine, or perfume notes which was good, but the overpowering main note kind of lingered in the nose on exhale, and it just did this one in for me. If it had been a clear chocolate cherry, that would have been one thing, but it's just not, and whatever surviving cherry notes remained were so lost in the mix, little to no value as a cherry IMO. **1.5/10**.

Delosi Flavors SFT Reviews by SessionDrummer

4jixDvQ.jpg

Did not see a large amount of Delosi flavor notes, so decided to buy a batch, and test them out. All tested at the % listed, with a 3-5 day steep. All tested on a SteamCrave RDTA v.1, 7 wrap kanthal 24 ga. coils, with fresh cotton and dry burned in between tests. Tested @ 65 watts.

**Coconut (Delosi) 5% (8-07-19)** -- Stumbled across Jojo's notes on this one, and motivated me to test. This one smelled great on mixing, and after a short steep continued to be stellar. This may be my (just like Jojo) new fav coconut. It has NONE of the "greasy" notes that some other coco's have, but all the good parts. It imparts all the best of fresh coconut with plenty of body, great sweetness, some of the cream, and the meat. It's all in there. Continued solo vaping @ 5% revealed no off putting notes, and I can already see this taking over my number one slot for some dragon's blood mixes. Very full, but not cloying at this %, and can't wait to get a bigger bottle, and start mixing with it. **10/10**.

**Peach 5% (8-16-19)** -- Peaches, peaches, peaches. Are they here ?? Ummm, not really. At first I thought I WAS getting some peach, almost like the cubed, sweetened chunks that Chic Fila tosses in their Peach Milkshake, but the more I vaped it, the less I got. Somewhat sweet with SOME peachy undertones, but overall it fell short of a full on peach. Sometimes even, smelling it gave more peach, than vaping it. Not terrible, just not peachy enough. Maybe an even keeled fruit puree-ish flavor. Probably great as a mixer to fill out a fruity mix, but not a driving peachy mcpeach. Maybe too generous to leave it at **5/10**.

**Strawberry Milk 10% (8-10-19)** -- After a mere few days steep, this one turned out to be quite good. I've not had great luck with single flavor milks, and/or milkshakes, so my hopes were low with this one. It did however, prove me wrong. Coming up with an actual SB Milk as opposed to a SB Creme is exactly what they did here. It did come across almost like the SB version of Nesquik. Milky ? Check. SB ? Check. Smooth and even, with just about the right amount of sweet. I used the average % of 10% so it's not very concentrated, but at 10%, it was a winner. So much so I finished off the tester, and that's a great sign. The SB was somewhat subdued and could probably use a boost from say FA Juicy SB perhaps, but as is, **9/10**. Going to be getting a bigger bottle of this one as well.

**Honeydew 5% (8-16-19)** -- It didn't take many puffs to decide this one was equally MEH. Sweet fruity flavor with some melon maybe Kiwi-ish undertones. Maybe a blender for fruit mixes at best ? Not terrible, but def. not great. I think back to my Medicine Flower tests thanks to @Pro_Vapes, and the MF Honeydew blows this out of the park. As my final tester in this series, going to go low again @ **3/10**.

**Banana 5% (8-11-19)** -- Oh banana how do I love thee ?? OK, out of the gate, this one was good, but not great. Seemed to lean more towards runty artificial, but still had some authentic banana in there. Nicely sweet and even/full @ 5%. Not creamy per se, but maybe a slight feel/taste of pudding-ness, if anything. The one BIG take away for me on this one, was that I often get a sort of muskiness from most bananas, but this one had NONE of those notes, and that's a plus. Although not giving this a 10, I am already planning on re-mixing a few of my current banana favs with this so see how the UN-muskiness works out. As it stands, feel like a **7.5/10** is solid.

**Strawberry 8% (16-19)** -- With sooo many strawberries out there, you're always looking for the next big one. Sadly this one is NOT it. Nothing off-putting or floral, just meh. Somewhat SB'ish, but not overly so. Sweetness was nice, but overall just seemed a blur with no telltale breakthrough SB notes. Delosi's SB Milk however was excellent, but this one, going to leave it low @ **3.5/10**.

**Cantaloupe 5% (8-11-19)** -- This one had me guessing trying to figure out what it was. It did have canta elements, but vaping it seemed more of a sweet-ish fruit-like mish mash. It smelled like canta seeds, but not the fruit when vaping. Def. would not be my canta choice. Not finishing the tester in this one. **2/10**.

**Watermelon (Delosi) 8% (8-10-19)** -- Wow on this one. Following the Coconut, this would be a perfect pairing with it heading towards a Dragon's Blood. OK, this was pretty good at 8%, but might be able to go even higher. It came across as an even keeled candied WM, that straddled between realistic and slightly artificial. I think it's closest cousin would be LA Watermelon for comparison. Nothing off putting, and sweetness leaned heavier, but not overly so. Nicely done, and putting it @ **9.25/10**.

**Cotton Candy 5% (8-11-19)** -- So what exactly IS Cotton Candy ? Who knows, maybe straight EM ?? Added this one to my order just to see what was what. As expected it was sweet, but not actually overly sweet @ 5%. Had all the telltale signs, smells, and tastes of CC without being overpowering. Continued vaping didn't appear to reveal any muting, and the flavor stayed consistantly cotton candy-ish throughout. Didn't seem to reach the level of TPA Cotton Candy, but in the ballpark. For what it's worth, leaving this at a **7/10**.

Kpiv80H.jpg

**Cake Batter (Delosi) 5% (1-10-21)** -- Have not used many CB's, and CAP's would probably be the one I've used most, was interested to see how another one fared. Out of the gate, I'm not sure if it conveyed a Cake Batter to me, but it had clear similarities to Flavor West's Cake Batter Dip, BUT, without the smoothness. At times I had some fruit elements, others not, and it was hard to explain other than to say like a non-smooth cousin to FW CBD. Had some frosting elements, but not a frosting, maybe some vanilla in there, but that even wandered around. Hard to nail down for sure, but in total, not really sure if it conveyed a batter. Not terrible, mid sweet, and beyond a few fruity florals that popped in and out when vaping, nothing off-putting in it. Feels fair @ **6.5/10**.

**Cereal Base (Delosi) 5% (1-24-21)** -- Is this the cereal base you've been looking for ?? Maybe, maybe not. It had some lower end bakery notes, with some grains, but to my palate, I kept getting the distinctive AP notes. Not overwhelming, but they were there, and once you tasted them, you couldn't NOT taste them. I'm not opposed to using AP, as I do often, but I can control it's impact/effect, and this one it was static, and always there. Sweetness was below mid level, and no off notes at 5% could be found. Your tastes/needs will vary, so if you want AP or not, will dictate how good this one is for you. For my "base" needs, I'll leave it at a mid-level **5/10**.

**Cherry (Delosi) 2% (1-23-21)** -- What do we fear with Cherries ?? EVERYTHING !!!! Kidding. I am still apprehensive when trying to decide on initial testing strengths with Cherries, having being burned soo many times before. Decided to go low with this one (relative) as there just wasn't much info on it out there. At this low weight, the great news was I wasn't slammed with a soapy, medicinal, floral assault to my senses. Now, I was also not assaulted with a full cherry either !!! I may re-test this higher for better analysis, but at 2%, I wouldn't call this a full, in your face cherry. Smelled great in the tank, but vaping it was rather hollow, and seemed to be a HUE of a cherry. Now, this COULD easily be that I tested it too low. Somewhat sweet, and tart, with clear aspects of Cherries, but just needed some more body, presence, and fullness. Because it was so subdued, complete analysis was hard to obtain. Not overly natural, somewhat candied, and not bright or dark, but a middle of the scale cherry. Re-testing higher may reveal more, but at this weight, it would probably be best as a Cherry base mixer/enhancer/builder, and that's not the end of the world. At 2%, will leave this one at **5/10**. Not offensive in any way, just not ON the offense.

**Chocolate Coconut (Delosi) 4% (1-13-21)** -- It should be no secret that .......

**Coconut (Delosi) 5% (8-07-19)** – Stumbled across Jojo’s notes on this one, and motivated me to test. This one smelled great on mixing, and after a short steep continued to be stellar. This may be my (just like Jojo) new fav coconut. It has NONE of the “greasy” notes that some other coco’s have, but all the good parts. It imparts all the best of fresh coconut with plenty of body, great sweetness, some of the cream, and the meat. It’s all in there. Continued solo vaping @ 5% revealed no off putting notes, and I can already see this taking over my number one slot for some dragon’s blood mixes. Very full, but not cloying at this %, and can’t wait to get a bigger bottle, and start mixing with it. **10/10** .

And with that said, I had high hopes for this one continuing that trend. Upon first vape however, I just wasn't sure. If you've been DIY'ing for a while, you may have heard me or other mixers talking about "Pushing" or "Pulling" flavors and profiles. I think this flavor is a PRIME example of that. I didn't really get much choco out of this one, BUT, whatever they put in here Pushed, and Pulled their deliciously creamy Coconut OFF profile. I took a vape break and came back to it fresh, and had the same resolution. I was getting SOME of my beloved Delosi Coconut, with some other, unidentifiable notes, that just didn't work as expected. The mix was rich, full, and even keeled at this weight, not overblown, and no ceiling hitting off-notes, just no great choco/coco. I'm not sure if this should be a stocking stuffer or not. My preference would be to use Delosi's Coconut, and temper in my OWN chocolate, possibly MF Dark Chocolate, and do it right. You guys know me, and my reviews, so I don't go low, unless I have to. Leaving this interesting one @ **5/10**.

**Cinnamon Bun (Delosi) 5% (1-12-21)** -- The most unique aspect of this one was the Cinnamon, which was fairly hard to nail down. It seemed to be a bit spicier than the normal "bakery" cinnamon, but not a "red hot" cinnamon, maybe somewhere in between. The bakery elements were fairly average, with no cream cheese icing, or yeast notes. It wasn't a terrible flavor, but I think it could have benefited from more of a bakery cinnamon, with maybe some yeast to add to the authenticity of the "bun". As a whole it had all the elements, but seemed to lack focus. I could see it benefiting from a cream element to temper the cinna a smidge. Feels right @ **6.5/10**.

**Classic Fruit Punch (Delosi) 5% (1-12-21)** -- This "classic" fruit punch, should NOT be confused with a red tropical punch (which Delosi also has), as it was more of a citrus punch. Immediately the lime was evident, with lemon taking 2nd place, and some orange rounding it all out. With below mid level sweetness, it might benefit from a pinch of sweetener to help flush it out a bit. The citrus elements tasted about 50/50 natural/artificial, which worked well here, and with no off-putting notes at this testing weight. I think my personal preference would be more to the red tropical punch, but even still, this one was good for what it was. All 3 elements were blended fairly evenly, and it finished clean, and crisp. For a not red tropical punch, this one worked pretty good, and the trifecta of citrus fruits didn't leave you wanting. **7.5/10**.

**Custard (Delosi) 5% (1-9-21)** -- Custard, custard, how do I love thee ?? More than too much. I love my Custards, BUT, I seem to have a NARROW band, wherein my favorites lie. There are soo many different styles of custards, and different tastes for custards, that trying to state what the "best" custard is, is all but impossible. To MY tastes, I love a nice rich, slightly eggy custard, but with pudding notes to temper them. CAP's VC1 and INW Custard are probably on the top of my "Egg Brick To The Face" list, yet I still use both, but I use them sparingly. This one, actually COULD become my NEW favorite Custard. It's not billed as a Vanilla Custard, and rightfully so, as it didn't lean too heavily into a pure VC. The more I vape this, the more I like it, as it almost seems to have perfectly fit MY needs for a custard, with some eggy-ness, but also some nice smooth pudding-ish notes tempered in there. It was very full (but not IN your face) at 5%, and with a mid level sweetness, it could indeed be ADV'd solo. If you're reading this, your tastes for custards may require more, or less eggy-ness, so your mileage will vary. While fulfilling my "some egg, and more pudding" requirements, it clearly is not as buttery rich as CAP's VC1, and/or in your face, but continued vaping, didn't leave me missing those. If you're really looking for a straight up "what's it like", then I'd have to say 40% CAP VC1 with 60% pudding. Let YOUR tastes dictate whether or not you try this or not, but if you're looking for a Custard that's got SOME egg, and more pudding notes, that doesn't lean heavily to the Vanilla, I think you might like this one. My palate is going to compel me to buy a bigger bottle. Palate'd @ **9.8/10**.

**Glazed Donut (Delosi) 5% (1-9-21)** -- This one goes out to @Rocky02852, because I know it's in his cart !!! Let's start this off by saying this is the LEAST offensive Donut I have ever tried. Wait, what ?? Does that mean it's the best ?? Let's see. I have tested almost every possible donut, and one is PlayDoh, others were burnt, and some were just plain yeasty. Almost everyone's take on a perfect donut will vary, so again, no perfect one for everyone. This one immediately had me thinking of a Krispy Kreme but minus some of the yeasty-ness. I actually went through TWO tanks before writing this. What DOES make up a great donut. Yeast ? Dough (fried) ? Glazed ? I think yes to all. This one had about every positive aspect of a donut (for me) minus the yeasty-ness, and/or greasy/fried notes. I struggled to decide how important those two WERE for a donut. I'm now not sure, as Delosi's GD had very little yeasty notes, and no deep fried greasy notes, yet, it was still a great donut. Your tastes may vary, but for mine, this WAS the least offensive Donut I've ever tried. If you DID require more yeast and grease, you could easily add some, if not, you can roll right out of the gate. No real cinnamon notes (but you could add them) here, which placed it even more solidly in the blank canvas donut category. A tick above mid level sweet, but I attributed that to a fine glazed coating. Two tanks, and chain vaping couldn't force any off-notes. If you're like me, and don't need yeast or grease in your donuts, then you should pick this one up pronto. **9.9/10**.

**Graham Cracker (Delosi) 5% (1-8-21)** -- Welcome to Series II !!!! First on deck is the GC. This one was somewhat unique, and was more like FLV, and FW's GC, than CAP's or TPA's. The good news is, it didn't favor an Oatmeal Cookie like FLV's, or wasn't heavy on the coconut like FW's. That is what made it somewhat unique. I didn't get any cinnamon from it, and it leaned towards a dryer honey based graham without any overt honey-ness. Being a S'mores junkie, I might try to work this in to a few of my variants to see how it fares, and I'm guessing that TPA's GCC (Graham Cracker Clear) would boost it quite nicely. If you don't want a cinnamon based, or coconut heavy GC, this one, might work for you. Nicely present at 5%, below mid level sweet, and accurate to it's name. Nothing off-putting, and it just worked really good. Solidly @ **9.5/10**.

**Malted Milk (Delosi) 5% (1-26-21)** -- Well this one was a strange one. I honestly didn't get much, if any, Malted Milk, but it presented as almost a Soda Base ?? !!! Checked the bottle, and sure enough, that was the flava flave. There were maybe some almost caramel notes in it, but once I tasted the soda base, I couldn't not taste it. No real creamy or dairy notes, and no malted notes that I could find. I don't think this is the MM you're looking for. **1.5/10**.

**Marshmallow Cereal (Delosi) 5% (1-21-21)** -- Back at it !!!! When I saw this one I had to have it, as my current champion was Purilum's Strawberry Marshmallow Cereal, hands down. VERY hard for any other to approach that level, but test on, we shall. Had to finish two tanks to get a firm nail down on this one. There were some cereal elements, but they were much lower in the mix. The MM was the leader here, and while pretty good, didn't have lots of mouthfeel to it. As a "cereal" marshmallow, it's actually really good, as it captured the little almost dusted tiny MM's found in cereals, and not a campfire, or sticky MM. Sweetness was obviously above mid level, but not cloying, no off-putting notes, and 2 tanks later, wasn't sick of it. As billed, I have to knock it down as the "cereal" was just too laid back. If you DO need mini cereal type marshmallows, this will work GREAT, just don't expect much cereal from it. Leaving it at a **7/10** as billed, but if it were just "Tiny Cereal type Marshmallows" I'd have to go 9.9/10.

**Peanut Butter (Delosi) 5% (1-9-21)** -- My vaping of Peanut Butters has fallen into TWO categories. Darker/Saltier or Sweeter/Creamier. Delosi seems to have almost bridged the gap with their Peanut Butter, because it appeared to be BOTH. Your PB needs will differ, so which one(s) you use, will differ as well. I've always liked CAP's PB for it's sweet, creamy, almost Jiff like qualities, but I always got an off/burned note on the tail end. This one, had both salty/dark and creamy/sweet qualities. Maybe split 50/50 but hard to say for sure. Sweetness was mid level, and with no off notes throwing it off track, I couldn't find fault with it. It was an interesting take on PB as it literally seemed to straddle both worlds. If you are looking for a only salty, or only sweet, this one might not be for you. For a natural tasting PB that covered almost the entire PB spectrum, this one might be for you. **9.5/10**.

**Pina Colada (Delosi) 5% (1-9-21)** -- Having not tested Delosi's Pineapple yet, I'm assuming this is a pairing of the two. My older review of their Coconut revealed a perfect score (IMO), so was curious to see how I liked this one. Most times Pinas are just a coconut/pineapple combo with MAYBE a cherry on top. I didn't get any cherry in this one, but (as expected) did get a great coco pineapple combo. My old coconut friend was back, and just as good, and paired with a pineapple. Because I love Delosi's coconut soo much it was hard to focus on the pineapple notes, but they paired the two nicely. Same creamy coconut was present, but not as full because it was cut with the pineapple. The pineapple was a nice, even one with not a lot of bright, high end sparkle, but that could be the fault of the rich and creamy coconut smothering any hehe. All in, a nice, mid level sweet, tropical drink in a gif. Nothing fancy, nothing pretentious, just good. Throughout the tester, I did keep thinking, "Why'd you water down my creamy coconut" hehe. The coco did manage to rise above the pineapple in the mix, and that worked fine. Minor kickdowns for no sparkly, high end punch notes on the pineapple, but a great combo flavor none the less. Solidly a **8.5/10**.

**Pineapple (Delosi) 5% (1-26-21)** -- The more Pineapples I test, the more obvious it becomes that it's NOT as easy to come up with a good one as you would think. My current mega-champion is:

**Sugarloaf Pineapple (VTA) 4% (6-9-20)** -- Having just tested VTA's Pineapple Juice, and having had a "so-so" reaction to it, AND, having used this one many times, was anxious to really solo it. My previous experience in mixes, mirror my SFT here. This one is a Pineapple Powerhouse. No other way to put it. It actually pushed my beloved INW Pineapple off it's perch as my number one. This "sugarloaf" pineapple should be re-named "sugarLOAD" pineapple. It's sweet, bright, punchy, and damned delicious. It leans on the sweet side, but not too sweet. Sugarloaf pineapple is a white pineapple, that I've never eaten, but I sure would LIKE to now. Very natural, multi-dimensional, and interesting to vape. Nothing artificial tasting to my tastes, and wherein VTA's Pineapple Juice presented to me as somewhat dull and/or lifeless, this one was the exact opposite. BPD (Bright, Punchy, Delicious), just is really all you need to know on this one. Typically I would think even as good as this is, it will probably be mixed with INW Pineapple, or maybe CAP Golden Pineapple just to round things out, but I've used it as the only Pineapple and it worked out great

. So it's not required, but an option. This one leaned heavier in the mid and high notes, with less lower/darker notes, and it does it well. Hands down a GREAT flavor, and IMO, should be on your VTA Must Have List. **10/10**, zero hesitation.

I didn't think Delosi's would knock it off it's perch, and it didn't. This one smelled great at 5% in the bottle, and after a short steep and vape, it seemed to be a little lack-luster or hollow. There was a good Pineapple in there, but it was just very relaxed. Overall it was fairly natural and seemed to hover in the mid-region of the spectrum, with not as much going on in the darker, or brighter/punchier areas. It could be a very light Pineapple Juice. Continued vaping didn't reveal any florals, and possible pushing it higher would bolster it a bit, but not sure. Sweetness was a tick above mid level which was fine for a sweet pineapple. I just kept wishing it had more presence. All in, not terrible by any means, just not terribly present, at least at this testing weight. Fresh, fairly natural, with nothing off-putting, and would DEF. work out in bolstering a Pineapple slurry, just NOT the main star. **6.5/10**.

**Raspberry (Delosi) 5% (1-9-21)** -- Having not had great luck with Delosi's fruits thus far, was looking to see if this broke the trend, and it did. Took me over a tank to try and nail it down, but I did. It was an interestingly somewhat laid back Raspberry at 5%, but it defied analysis. It wasn't a darker berry, nor a brighter punchier one, but one smack dab in the middle of the spectrum. It's not Medicine Flower, Sobucky, or VSO, but it held it's own. Just imagine a Raspberry with some of the darker and punchy high end notes culled, and this is it. It actually was surprisingly a good Raspberry, as it centered in the mid spectrum. Just slightly tart, but not bright, and lower than mid level sweet, and it almost had a gritty-ness to it, which kept it interesting. I think the gritty-ness was similar to almost like the sandy grit from a fresh pear. Just in texture not in taste. Not jammy, not a candy, and it did favor more of a natural flavor. At first I wasn't sure it it was going to work, but with no off-putting florals, and an interesting smooth, mid-spectrum RB, it was a good vape. **8.4/10**.

**Sugar Cookie (Delosi) 5% (1-10-21)** -- Lotsa Sugar Cookie flavors out there, and most seem to center around a lighter Vanilla Cookie. This one was devoid of any V, which would open up it's usage to a wider mixing array, and it was somewhat darker than most others. Some butter, but not buttery rich, and the bakery notes were convincing, and you could almost taste some brown sugar. Sweetness was at about mid level, and it felt perfect @ 5%. No dough, cinnamon, vanilla, or choco chips here, but a really good, blank canvas Sugar Cookie. Finished two tester tanks trying to find faults/ off notes, but they weren't to be found. Because it was so full at this weight, and with no identifiable flavors you could really use this anywhere you need a cookie, and push/pull it from there. You could even ADV it, as is as well. :) For a great neutral sugar cookie, without any added flavors, this one could end up on your shelf. Nicely placed @ **9.2/10**.

**Sweet Cream (Delosi) 5% (1-21-21)** -- There only used to be a few SC's out there, but now, there's quite a few. Some keep to the traditional "sweet" cream, which is just an absence of a sour cream, others are actually sweet/sweetened. This one actually had some sweetness to it, and some relaxed creamery elements. Assuming dik/daap free it was missing a lot of the richness and mouthfeel that many have. Not terrible, no BA notes, no buttery-ness, just not as present as you'd probably want when using a "cream". Could be used as a base mixer, but probably not as a top cream element. Sweetness while present, was lower than mid level, and worked for this profile. Some kick downs for a slightly thinner, and less creamy cream. **6/10**.

**Sweet Vanillin (Delosi) 3% (1-10-21)** -- Having never tried Vanillin before, had to [science the .... out of it](http://www.babyspinachsaga.com/vanilla-vs-vanillin-whats-the-difference/). Apparently Vanilla has over 250 flavor compounds, whereas Vanillin has 1. With that said, I wasn't expecting a full spectrum here. My firstest first thoughts were, "Vanilla meets Cotton Candy". It's not that I was getting EM, but I can see why they call it Sweet Vanillin. It did taste like a simpler, cleaner Vanilla, that was fairly sweetened. @3% it seemed high enough, and was above mid level sweet. Because of it's lack of depth (missing compounds) I could see this as an additive/enhancer more than a main note. For what it was, it was a good, simple, sweetened Vanilla, that was fairly bright, without much of the darker/fuller undertones in regular vanillas. For a brighter, simpler, sweetened Vanilla, this one will fit your bill. **9/10**.

**Toasted Marshmallow (Delosi) 5% (1-9-21)**
-- It can be hard often times to review Marshmallows. Everyone knows about the mouthfeel, sometimes sticky-ness, and also in mixes to smooth out some of the rough edges. When SFT you never know how the flavor will work in mixes. At 5% this one was a nice, almost velvety Marshmallow with moderate mouth feel. Not sticky, but nice and full at this testing weight, with all the fluff and characteristics you'd expect from a MM. I could pick up on some toasted elements riding on the top, and overall it was realistic. While maybe not the thickest MM out there, it held it's own throughout the tank. Above mid level sweetness (DUH, marshmallow), and no off-putting notes, it was an easy vape to keep vaping. Some vanilla notes, but not overly so, leaving this one usable wherever you needed a good toasted MM. It def. leaned towards a campfire marshmallow and not a cereal marshmallow. For a good marshmallow with some toasted notes, with good mouthfeel, and mid-level sweetness, this one works, and works well. **9.3/10**.

**Vanilla Cream (Delosi) 5% (1-10-20)** -- This one smelled almost TOO good when mixing it up, so was glad to finally get to test it. I can now see why, because it WAS that good when vaping it !! It was interesting they billed it as a V. Cream, not a V. Ice Cream, because it they could have. A deliciously light, vanilla cream, that wandered between a milk shake of sorts, then back to more of an ice cream. No malt, but just a perfectly clean, vanilla cream. At 5% it was lighter, and I couldn't tell if it would have been better at 4% or not, but even at 5%, had no signs of hitting the ceiling. Nicely sweet, and the creamy-ness added to the overall mouthfeel. Not heavy handed, or buttery rich like LB's, but just more of a "clean" vanilla cream. Maybe similar to Sobucky's offerings tested here, and just as clean, yet somewhat laid back. No off-notes, no pepper, at all, just an overwhelming sense of "clean vanilla cream". 2 tanks gone, still can't find fault with it, and mixing wise, I might think 2-4% would be good, and depending on what it's pared with it might need a boost, but might not. All in, this was an excellent clean, vanilla cream, that doesn't disappoint, and leaves you wanting more. Cleanly stable @ **9.9/10**.

**Vanilla Yogurt (Delosi) 5% (1-21-21)** -- I eat yogurt, but have never been a huge fan of vaping it, so this one was tested with pause. Smelling it in the bottle didn't reveal any sour / culture notes, so I figured I was safe. Vaping it revealed none of either, but what I noticed, was without them, it wasn't very yogurt-y. Hmmmm, interesting. At first I thought, maybe it's one of those sweetened non-yogurty yogurts, but even after 2 tanks, I became convinced, it just wasn't a yogurt. It was good, as I got through 2 tankfuls, but despite the almost creamy, somewhat vanilla-y nature, it never went to yogurt-ville. It almost reminded me of a vanilla meets a condensed milk more than anything else. Nothing off-putting, and seemed fine at 5%, with sweetness at about mid level. I've yet to test Delosi's Condensed Milk, but I'll be interested to see if there's some of THIS, in THERE. As billed, would have to go down to a **4.5/10** not because it was bad, just because of the not yogurt.

Chemnovatic SFT Reviews by SessionDrummer

Chemno's rates appear on the high side, but having never tried them, will settle at the mid point for testing.

**Cookie (Chemnovatic) 9% (6-28-20)** -- Cookies may be one of the hardest flavors to get right for everyone. Soo many different kinds. American, European, Dry, Chocolate Chip. My absolute current favorite is [DIYFS Cookie](https://forum...................../...avor-tasting-notes/161384/61?u=sessiondrummer), and that was more of an American Toll House cookie. This one was actually not like any other I've tried yet. If I were forced to compare, it is like a combo of FA Cookie, and JF Cookie. Somewhat dry, nice almost grainy elements, with low to mid sweetness, with no discernible base coloring like Vanilla or Chocolate chip. Rather neutral, and I believe the grainy-ness that I was picking up might lean this more towards a European biscuit style, and away from an American pastry type cookie. It's not overbearing, and could easily be manipulated to either style. Continued vaping leads me to the assumption that it would def. work in a base, and would require some tweaking to either a pastry or biscuit as you need. All in, pretty solid cookie, fairly neutral, mildly sweet, with some detectable grain to it. **7/10** feels good here.
______________________________________________________________________________________

**Donut (Chemnovatic) 6% (7-5-20)** -- I think we can all agree, it's just damned impossible to come up with a really good donut flavor. If not, everyone would be doing it. We get the greasy, the yeasty, the playdoh, the fritters, etc. Interestingly enough, this one, can be added to the aforementioned. I got somewhat of a "greasy" note when mixing this up, and it continued into the vape. It honestly came across as a somewhat greasy apple fritter, with most of the apple stripped out. At no point, did I really get a donut. Some bakery, some greasy, some subtle cinnamon undertones, and almost a hint of apple. I think this would be far better suited to start a base for an apple fritter than anything else. I had hoped to send this batch of Chemnovatic out with a bang, but instead, more of a thud LOL. Not a terrible flavor, but not much of a donut. Sweetness was below mid level, and didn't appear to be hitting the ceiling at this level. Throughout the entire vape, I kept returning to the whole, Apple Fritter with most of the apple scooped out flavorset. If you're frittering, this might be a good place to start, but if you're donut'ing, you may want to press on. Finishing up this Chemno run with this one at **5/10**.

**Grape (Chemnovatic) 9% (6-27-20)** -- Holy grape punch to the face !!!! See where I'm going with this one ?? Ok, after using many grapes in my DIY time, it became clear that there were really only two (maybe three) kinds of grapes. Authentic, Candied/Soda, and perhaps a wine. What you are looking for in a grape will greatly influence which will be right for you. This one had me looking across the table for Radar O'reilly, because it was almost completely spot on for a Grape Nehi soda. Now, if you are looking for a more natural/authentic grape, this one may not be for you. Personally I loved this one. I can lean either way, if it's a great authentic, great, if it's a great grape soda, great. This one is almost perfect (struggling to find takeoffs). My current go to (as others have done) is TPA's grape juice, and FW's grape soda, as my grape base, but even that pairing wasn't perfect. Granted this one was mixed @ 9%, it showed NO signs of hitting the ceiling, and was gape-a-licious at this testing weight. Sweetness was mid level, and it did favor a grape nehi soda, hands down. No carbonation, no fizz, but very damned close. Because it leaned heavily towards a grape soda, I didn't get any subtle nuances like the skin, or sparkling bright top notes, but it literally rolls over you like a giant grape steam roller at this percentage. For my tastes, it was about a perfect incarnation, as could be had. If I was forced to split it, soda vs. natural, I'd have to leave it at 75% soda, 25% natural for comparison. For my grape tastes, and needs, I couldn't ask for more, from a single flavor. **10/10**.

**Lemon (Chemnovatic) 9% (7-1-20)** -- Wow, this one IS a complex lemon flavor. Complex ?? I've been getting all kinds of different profiles from this one while vaping, and that really surprised me. Sometimes it was more of a lemon head-ish flavor, other times more lemonade-ish, and other times, a super full lemon wherein I could almost detect a cirtus oil finish. Wow, talk about an interesting flavor. Soo many subtle nuances, I think it will be hard to classify as a single noted flavor. Despite having all of the aforementioned profiles, and my inability to put the tank down, I can find NO direct/close comparison as it IS quite unique. I think because OF all of the different profiles contained in this one flavor, it's uses/usefulness will be quite a few. Obviously I could see it boosting a lemon tart, lemonade, lemon squares, but also just adding a bright punchy high end as well. Sweetness was mid level, and despite chain vaping it, could find NO off-putting notes, or florals, and at 9% it was very strong and full without being overflavored. Whether or not you're even in the market for OML (One More Lemon), this one SHOULD be on your short list, just so you can experience all of the different profiles. Well worth the purchase, and you will be able to use it across a wide array of mixes. It is a full spectrum Lemon which I find to be rare, with low/middle notes, and plenty of high end punch. Can't describe it any better than that. A very complex lemon, that covers the entire spectrum, with mid level sweetness, great body, and some high end punch on the top. Without question **10/10**.
_____________________________________________________________________________________

**Lemon Cream Wafer (Chemnovatic) 7% (7-2-20)** -- I'm quite sure with all the hub-bub about rumors that Dinner Lady Lemon Tart used this flavor, and the ensuing Out Of Stock situation at many vendors will leave EVERYONE wanting to know the answer. Good news for you, is I have NO CLUE !!!!! I've never vaped DL LT, so I can't help you. What I can help with is this flavor, and how it vapes. Having just tested Chemno's Lemon, it's fairly probable that those compounds ARE in here as well. As a solo vape, this one is very, VERY good. Now, I'm not sure if it truly projects a Lemon Cream Wafer (cookie), but WOW, it IS very good. @ 7%, this could EASILY be considered a One Shot. It's got plenty of lemon punch that carries through the entire vape, but at the half way point, the cookie starts to peek out, and ride all the way to the end of the vape, finishing perfectly with the lemon. My very FIRST reaction was, "Wow, super great lemon, with a cookie, and some custard notes". Now when I say custard elements, you're NOT getting the VC slam like from CAP VC, but it feels like it's IN there, just hiding, peeking out from time to time. Very interesting. The cookie/bakery stays relatively linear throughout the vape as does the lemon. Sweetness might be a pinch above medium, and doesn't come across as fatiguing. There was also a certain "thickness" that seemed to be in there, that could RESEMBLE maybe some Meringue or Marshmallow, but not high enough to identify, but the "thickness" could not be denied. Overall, this was a great, full, somewhat complex flavor, and I will run this tank dry. I think it's soo good, that it will go on my must have list for this testing run. To my tastes, the lemon/custard elements set this apart from all of your regular suspects, i.e. CAP Lemon Meringue Pie, VT Lemon Meringue Tart, and WF Flapper Pie. For a really good (basically a One Shot) Lemon Cookie Tart (my words), you cannot go wrong with this. Vape it as is, tweak it a little bit, it's just a win/win all the way around. Is this the SECRET ingredient in Dinner Lady's Lemon Tart ?? Time will tell. For the purposes of this test, handily a **10/10**.
_____________________________________________________________________________________

**Passion Fruit (Chemnovatic) 7% (6-26-20)** -- While admittedly never solo'ing a Passion Fruit, but having used them quite a bit, this was going to be a double first for me. First PF SFT, and first Chemnovatic. First one on deck, after a 1 week sleep @ 7% was pretty damned tasty. It presented as a very nice, full PF, which seemed to cover the entire spectrum of notes, all in one flavor. Had the somewhat darker low end, with a generous helping of the more melony mid notes, with JUST enough high end punch to finish it off. That's about exactly how it vaped/tasted, in that order. Had a nice authentic almost fermented mini-push (as I call it), which helped tweak the overall experience, and kind of tied it all together. It was nice, fat, and full at this testing weight, with nothing off-putting, chemical or otherwise detracting. Having not SFT'd other PF's, this one seemed to be a little more unique in that it really captured the spectrum from somewhat dark, to mid, to high end. Sweetness was actually lowered than expected at mid, to mid-low which is always a bonus, so you could boost sweetness as/or when needed. Overall experience was GREAT with my first Chemnovatic flavor, and couldn't find any take aways. Nicely done, and super solid @ **9.5/10**.
____________________________________________________________________________________

**Strawberry (Chemnovatic) 7% (6-28-20)** -- This one was interesting out of the gate, and not necessarily in a good Strawberry way. If any of you have even had a Luden's cough drop, that is exactly what came to mind. NOW, it did NOT take like cough medicine, but Luden's has a very unique almost medley taste, and that IS what this had. No medicine, no cough syrup, but the profile is a Luden's. The overall flavor impact, was somewhat light, considering the 7% mixing weight, and continued vaping did NOT reveal an IYF (In Your Face) Strawberry, but more of a very relaxed, cherry/strawberry blend ?? Had to quantify. Nothing off putting, nothing floral, and despite my reference to a Luden's cough drop, had nothing medicinal. Sweetness was mid level, and although I do NOT think I would add this to my SB shelf, it WAS interesting enough to finish the tester. With the SB field being very crowded, with some excellent SB's, this one will get lost in the suffle. As a pure SB, would have to rate down to **4.5/10**. Interesting, but weak, and not a focused SB.
_____________________________________________________________________________________

**Watermelon (Chemnovatic) 7% (6-27-20)** -- Let me share my FIRST thoughts on this one, out of the gate. "Wow, this is a great COTTON CANDY, with a little watermelon on the top". Those were my FIRSTEST first thoughts, and continued vaping did not change that. It's actually a GREAT cotton candy with a hint of WM. At no point, at this percentage, did I get an overwhelming "Wow, this is a watermelon" during the entire tester. There IS watermelon in there, but it's almost just on the top of the vape, not throughout the bottom and body of it. Sweetness was mid level, and the WM that I did get floating around on the top was good, very light, airy, with some red, white, and maybe rhind in there. The main body however just really tasted like a CC to me. Nothing off-putting, or floral at this weight, and the WM element was very relaxed. If I had to rate this as a CC, I'd give it a 10/10 without question, but as a WM, I'd have to go low, as is the sad case in reviewing flavors. I'll be charitable and leave it at **5/10** as a WM, but just remember, if you're looking for a cotton candy wanna be, with a hint of wm this might be a winner for you. I'll close this by stating, that even though it didn't WOW me as a WM, I AM going to finish the tank.
____________________________________________________________________________________

**Vanilla Pudding (Chemnovatic) 7% (7-3-20)** -- TWO LEFT on deck. When I smelled this when mixing it up, I was reminded of CAP's VC. Vaping it, I can see why. There is indeed a fairly forward custard element in this Vanilla Pudding, so that may make you WANT it, or HATE it already. I was never a huge fan of CAP VC, but use it daily to add body in custard/creams/bakeries despite that fact. I think my FIRST take on this was more of a reduced CAP VC with some mid level vanilla, and a touch of bakery. My current go to Vanilla Pudding fav would be Flavorah's hands down, with Vape Train's Pudding Base as a runner up. This one wasn't bad by any means, and was actually quite good. Did it leave me thinking "pudding", not really. It actually could be used quite easily by not CAP VC fans for a custard experience with the eggy slap to the face. All in, this could be easily used, almost like a custard, a mixer, and as a baser for a pudding, but not sure if for my tastes, I'd leave it AS a pudding. Sweetness was below mid level, no overt eggy-ness, but still with very CAP VC like qualities. Didn't seem to be pushing the ceiling on this @ 7%, and was nicely full, and almost rich at this testing weight. Everyone seems to have a different take on "puddings", so your mileage will vary, and although pretty good as a custard like bakery flav., not feeling the super pudding here. Good enough to place at a **7/10**.

Chefs Super Concentrates SFT by SessionDrummer

Thanks out to @Timwis for dropping the bomb that Chefs was releasing their OWN Super Concentrates, and out to @lukeloop who was helping figure out a realistic testing weight for these.

Super huge thanks out to Leah @Chefs_Flavours for sending out these BRAND NEW Super Concentrates under the Chefs label. These are BRAND NEW, and no information was available, but their website suggests mixing rates of 0.2-0.5%. Going to mix these all at the higher end of 1.5%, after at least a 1.5 week steep to allow me to get through the recent new FA flavors on deck.

I had considered adding this entire run to the original Chefs Flavours Tasting Notes thread, but those flavors were being used at 20-30% ?? !!! Clearly these brand new flavors appear to be Super Concentrates, and hence their own, new area. All tested at 1.5%, 70/30, using the beloved SteamCrave RDTA v.1, with fresh cotton and burned coils between all tests.

MIXING NOW !!!!

**Apple (Toffee Apple) (CSC) 1.5% (6-11-21)** -- First one on deck from Chef's. My very first thoughts were, this was one of the better green/red apple flavors I have tried. Nicely acidic, with a perfect mix of sweet and tart. At 1.5% it felt really good, and in no way hitting the ceiling. The toffee was much lower in the mix, and some times almost avoided detection. You could tell it was there, as it was more complex than just a simple green apple. For my tastes, I would have preferred more toffee, but as it would, that portion of this flavor was fairly low in the overall mix. The apple continued to present as fresh till the end of the tank, and it never grew fatiguing. Even with the very low toffee notes, this one stayed interesting, fresh, and tasty. Take offs only for the low toffee notes. Felt really good and freshly green @ **8.1/10**.

**Biscuit (Speculoos) (CSC) 1.5% (6-12-21)** -- Living in the US, we have a much different meaning for "biscuit", than across the pond where it is more of a cookie. A [Speculoos Biscuit](Speculoos) is actually a spiced biscuit (cookie), and man was it good. Regardless on which side of the pond you reside, my tastebuds nailed this as an almost pumpkin spiced cookie, WITHOUT the pumpkin. The ingredients appear to vary from country to country, but seeing repeated mentions of *cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, ginger and clove,* yup, yup, yup. With this little gem floating in between an almost pumpkin spiced, to an almost gingerbread spiced cookie (biscuit), it was a TREAT. At 1.5% it was perfect, and was fairly complex with all of the spice elements floating around, with none taking center stage. You could EASILY push/pull this DIRECTLY into a full on pumpkin spiced, or a gingerbread by adding one or the other, but as it stood, a VERY good flavor. During the testing, I had to FIGHT the urge to run to the rack, and grab some FLV Frosting, or LA Cream Cheese Icing. Wow, if you like, want, or need a spiced cookie (biscuit), this one WILL get it done. Nothing off putting, and the fact that the spices continued to shift, and morph around, it stayed interesting throughout. I went into this flavor expecting a Bisquik type biscuit, but found a deliciously complex spiced cookie instead. Complex-edly set at a **9.8/10**.

**Blackberry (CSC) 0.25% (6-19-21)** -- OK, this one was STRONG. Started out at 1.5%, 0.75%, and 0.50% and it folded over on itself, and went full soapy. Reduced to 0.25%, re-steeped, and it can NOW be evaluated. Even at this much reduced weight, the blackberry was still present, and just at the very end, I will still getting that off, soapy note. VERY reduced, and almost undetectable but still there. The blackberry itself was a mid to dark berry, that had some nice sweetness and a tart bite at the end. An actual sparkly blackberry of sorts. Because I reduced to 0.25% and I was still getting a lil' soap, you will have to use caution when using this, and it will have to be used very low. As it stood, at the lower 0.25% rate, with the plusses and minuses, felt fair @ **5/10**.

**Blueberry Cheesecake (CSC) 1.5% (5-12-21)** -- Yum, yum, yum. I have a Blueberry Cheesecake as one of my ADV's, so any BBC will have a hard road to plow with me. This one was yummy right at the start. Creamy cheesecake, crust, and some blueberry. The cheesecake was velvety smooth, with no sharp cheese notes, and the graham cracker crust reminded me of TPA's CGC. The BB was more recessed in the mix, and harder to nail down, but the bits I got seemed to a a Wild/Fresh mix. You could easily push the BB with your BB of choice. At 1.5% it was full, and plenty creamy, and I could find nothing out of place. At almost mid-level sweetness, and only minor takeoffs for a slightly recessed blueberry, it was hard to fault this one. Solidly placing it at **9.2/10**.

**Cake (Sponge Cake) (CSC) 1.5% (6-13-21)** -- Classic sponge cake isn't overly complicated, with eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla, and sugar, but I've found it harder to reproduce as a flavor. Chef's did a pretty good job doing it however. All of the profiles here combined to a pretty realistic sponge cake. At times I almost got a hint of AP, but, it was subdued and in no way detracted from the delicious cake. About mid level sweet, and tasting fine at 1.5%, this one was a blank slate with which you could easily push it up with some strawberry, and/or whip cream, and really let it shine. As it stood, pretty convincing with no off-notes, and as exciting as a sponge cake it, they pretty much nailed it. If you're needing a cake, that's spongy, this one should be on your rack. Easily **9/10**.

**Cereals (CSC) 1.5% (6-13-21)** -- A generic cereal base, would be what best sums this one up. Nothing fancy, nothing stand out, and fairly neutral cereal-ish base. Got a few of the same notes here from their Sponge Cake, but in far reduced amounts. Hints of AP, and no real grainy-ness to speak of. Didn't feel heavy @ 1.5%, and nothing off-putting to be found here. Could easily be used as a "baser" and tweaked as needed. Minor take-offs for some missing grains, but overall, was an effective cereal base. Felt good at **6.5/10**.

**Coconut Macaroons (CSC) 1.5% (6-13-21)** -- Many people don't actually even know what's IN a Coconut Macaroon, and they're not complicated. Coconut, sweetened condensed milk, egg whites, vanilla, and salt. Did Chef's nail this flavor ?? YES !!! ---END of REVIEW----. Kidding. Wow, talk about an IMPACT from merely 1.5% of a flavor, this one has it, and it's great. I think many times, peoples tastes regarding coconuts vary wildly, so keep that in mind any time you read a review of coconut flavors. For my tastes, this one had a perfect pairing of both a creamy-ish coconut, and almost a raw coconut. A tick above mid-level sweet, with a super delicious sweetened creamy back end. The coconut had no "greasy-ees", or "oily-ees", and at the very end it finished with a nice astringent, acidic note, which really carried the entire flavor home. Had the coconut been purely creamy, this wouldn't have been there, and it WOULD have been missed. Tasting this flavor, really had a beginning, middle, and end. Quite interesting, and super delicious, and despite emptying two testers, I could find NO fault with this one. If you like coconut, this one might just end up on your short list. Unquestionably **9.8/10**.

**Crazy Rainbow (CSC) 1.5% (6-13-21)** -- As a general rule, I do not use any cooling agents, and despite trying them all, have never enjoyed them. This is a disclaimer, as this flavor HAS cooling in it, so please keep this in mind. It's a shame, because the flavor(s) are actually quite good, BUT, if you are an anti-cooler like me, the cooling can just get in the way. I would wish that Chef's would carry this exact flavor, but without the cooling as an option. As far AS the flavor/profiles, they're actually quite good, but somewhat obscured from me due to the aforementioned. I checked Chef's product page, and didn't see any mention of the cooling but they billed it as a Lemon, Black Currant, Red Fruit medley, and that sounds about right. The lemon, and red fruits are the two main profiles, with possibly some currant in there. The cooling is fairly prevalent and persistent throughout, and your like/dislike will obviously come into play here. The red fruit/lemon pairing is actually really good, and felt perfect at 1.5%, and with below mid level sweetness, was interesting, non-fatiguing, and damned fine tasting. It would be nice if Chef's stated the cooling on their page, and I'll contact them about that. As it stood, from a flavoring perspective, the pairings, were quite unique, fresh, and damned good, so I'll rate on that aspect of it. If you're a "no cooler" like me, stay away, but if you're not, and you're in need of an interestingly unique pairing of Lemon, Red Fruits, and a smidge (maybe) of currant, you should try this one. **9.1/10**.

**Creme Brulee (CSC) 1.5% (6-13-21)**
-- A rich custard base, topped with a crisp, caramelized sugar, who wouldn't like that ?? !!! The first thing that struck me with this one, was how well Chef's did the caramelized sugar. Custards are plentiful, but a good caramelized sugar, almost burnt, but not bitter can be hard to get right, and they did. Underneath it, was a nice somewhat relaxed vanilla custard. Eggs and vanilla were present, but it wasn't overly eggy. The sugar topping was ALMOST the star of the show here, but not entirely. The custard held it's own, and worked flawlessly with the topping, and what a one-two punch it was. Above mid-level sweet, and it tasted nicely full at 1.5%. Nothing off-putting, just a great tasting experience. The overall creamy level was about a 6/10, so it was not a super dense creamy flavor, but honestly, after you start tasting it, that won't matter. Further testing revealed that the vanilla did take front seat from any egg notes, which was nice as opposed to a heavier egg-centric custard. Again, perfect pair between the custard and topping. More than rich enough to get your attention, but not oppressively so. All in, this might JUST be the best Creme Brule I've tasted. I could find NO faults with this one. Handily a **9.9/10**.

**Custard (CSC) 1.5% (6-14-21)** -- If anyone knows how to completely ignore DAAP concerns, and dive RIGHT into the Custard pool, head first, it's me. Matter of fact, I still need to try @woftam's Custard .... now that I think about it !!!!! OK, what in the hell do we have here. Hero / Zero ?? I'm leaning towards HERO people !!!! Now, we don't have to re-hash all the "What type of custard do you like" conversations, as we ALL have different tastes. I've got hundreds of uses for Custards thus far, and I use a wide array of them. I prefer a LESS heavy eggy custard, most of the time. This one presented as a rich, semi dense, not overly eggy custard, paired with an almost delicious pudding, BUT, there was something else. What in the hell ?? It's almost like a lighter donut/fried dough profile. I thought I smelled donut when smelling the bottle, but wasn't sure. Yup, that's what I'm getting, BUT, at a much lower ratio, as opposed to the Custard/Pudding. At first I wasn't sure, but now, I think it just works. I stopped focusing soley on it, and the sum total of the profiles, and it just works. Simple, lighter, but still heavy enough to grab your attention. Nice and tasty at 1.5%, and at about mid level sweet, having a hard time finding issues with it. For you numbers people, it was like 40% Custard, 40% Van. Pudding, and 20% Donut, and that's what you get. If you like those three profiles, and ratios, you'll love this flavor. For MY palate/tastes, I can't go lower than **9.75/10**.

**Donut (CSC) 1.5% (6-16-21)** -- Of ALL the donuts I've tested over the years, it seems like there's really only THREE things that come into play. Yeasty, oily (fried dough), and frosting. It's much harder than it seems to get it right, or there'd be MORE good ones. Chef's donut seemed to lean more heavily to the fried dough side, as opposed to the yeasty side. Right there, that may define it as a hero or zero already, but that's for YOU to decide. The FROSTING on this one, was STELLAR, and really stood out during the testing. I did NOT get any Play-Doh which was a huge plus (Glazed Donut you know I'm talking about you), and I struggled to come up with a describe-able fried dough to yeasty ratio. It leaned so heavily towards a fried dough, that I barely got any yeast notes. Maybe 80 fried dough / 20 yeast, if even that, maybe even higher. Regardless of the exact ratio, suffice it to say that if you prefer a fried dough donut, you will like this one, if not, well, hehe, you know the deal. The frosting was almost really the star here, as it would appear that I prefer a more yeasty base, than a fried dough, BUT, those are MY tastes, not yours. At 1.5% it was very strong, and could PROBABLY be dropped to 1.0% with ease, at least for SFT, mixing weights will always vary depending on your goals, and supporting flavors. To try and sum up the THREE parts with this one, I would have to guess at 60% fried dough, 30% glazed/frosting and 10% yeast. Continued testing verified that to be pretty close. I did not get any off notes at this testing weight, and sweetness was above mid level, and the frosting/glazed and I became fast friends during this test. While preferring a more yeast based approach, this one was fairly convincing, and felt good at **8/10**.

**Lemon (CSC) 1.5% (6-18-21)** -- For me, lemons always fall into one (or more) of the basic three types Natural, Lemonade, or Candied. The lemonade style would be half way between natural and full candied. Chef's was a pretty interesting Lemon, because it seemed to straddle all three. At 1.5% it was fairly full, and didn't taste overflavored, so you won't have to worry about micro drops LOL. Sweetness and tartness were both on point with just enough of each, but not too much of either. Because it kind of straddled the fence on the three types, it was an interesting flavor, as sometimes it shifted around to more of one or another, but stayed true to all 3. Depending on your needs this one should prove to be very versatile, and allow for broad usage, as it wasn't pigeon holed into just one category or profile. It was actually surprisingly good, on it's own. All in, for a broad spectrum lemon this one was pretty good, with nothing out of place. Felt solid @ **9.2/10**.

**Marshmallow (CSC) 1.5% (6-19-21)** -- I was immediately struck by how good this one captured the powdered sugar on the outer layer of a marshmallow, maybe even better than most others. The vanilla twinged mallow followed behind that, with a fairly clean finish. I wouldn't say it was overly heavy in the mouthfeel dept., but still present. Fairly neutral except for some vanilla notes, and it leaned more towards the smaller "cereal" marshmallows than anything else. Tasted just fine at 1.5%, and COULD even be used a smidge higher if needed. It's sharp edges tempering will have to be checked when mixing obviously. All in, a very accurate, almost small, cereal type marshmallow that excelled at the outer, powdery finish more than anything else. No off notes, and was actually quite good as a solo. Powderly placed at **8/10**.

**Milk Fresh (CSC) 1.5% (6-20-21)** -- Milks, milks, milks, the bane of my testing hehe. Why ? Solo'd they can be fair non-descript, and their true power is in mixes wherein they temper/smooth/cream up recipes. Chef's as a solo was fairly non-descript, and almost presented as more an almost powdered milk. This aspect could be smelled more than tasted. Just at mid level sweet, it didn't feel overpowered at 1.5%. Semi creamy, with a slight mouthfeel, and did not have a strong dairy note like TPA's. All in, this was a relaxed Milk flavor, that had aspects of a powdered milk. **7.9/10**.

**Mint (Fresh) (CSC) 1.5% (6-20-21)**
-- Whew, we've got some cooling in this one (coming from a non-cooling guy). As far as a "fresh" mint, I didn't get an entirely "fresh" from this one, but also got more of a candied mint, or almost a Wriggley's Double Mint Gum mint. It presented as almost a 50/50 mix of the two. Initially the cooling was pretty intense, but as the test wore on, it subdued a bit. Sweetness was slightly above mid level, and that might be what helped pull the candied mint profile more forward. Tasted good at 1.5%, and nothing off-putting, and I was continually reminded of Wriggley's gum. Not a gum flavor, but the flavor profile(s). Minor take offs for the fresh/candy split, but it was good as it stood. **8.7/10**.

**Mojito (CSC) 1.5% (6-20-21)** -- Ironically while testing this Mojito, I was HAVING a [Mojito](https://i.imgur.com/wFVuqcB.jpg), so this was going to be interesting. Having just tested Chef's Mint Fresh, I had assumed it would be in here, and it was. This flavor had the same nice mint, somewhat sweetened, paired with a great lime. Missing however was the Rum, unless it was so low in the mix as to be undetectable. It tasted perfect at 1.5%, and was above mid level sweet, and the pairing of the mint and lime were nicely done with neither overpowering the other. As a virgin Mojito, wasn't bad at all, and clearly you could spike up some rum if needed. Minor takeoffs for the missing rum, as the rest was very spot on. **9.1/10**.

**Oats (CSC) 1.5% (6-20-21)** -- I think it's safe to say I was COMPLETELY unprepared for this flavor. Not a lot of oats out there, because it's HARD to get right. I assumed this would be some general bakery with grains, passed off as a "kinda close" flavor. Boy was I wrong. FULL on, OATS !!!! No puffed wheat, not corn, not AP, OATS !!!! It made me immediately think of Quaker Oats, no questions, no hesitations. Below mid level sweet, and the best part, it wasn't FLAVORED. Blank slate, spot on oats. That's it, that's all. Was delicious at 1.5%, and man, the opportunities to use this one will be endless, and you could tweak to your hearts content. This, ladies and gentlemen is an impressive flavor, and I'm glad I added this one to the list. If you want some spot on oats, nicely sweetened, this is the one you should get. Full stop. **10/10**.

**Peanut Butter (CSC) 1.5% (6-22-21)** -- Good Peanut Butters are out there, but they can be hard to find. Typically PBs fall into two categories, Dry and Salty, or Creamy and Sweet. Chef's seems to have figured out how to MERGE the two !!! Yes, an almost perfect combination of a creamy, sweet, salty, peanut butter with some dryness which added to the complexity. At 1.5% it was full, present, and delicious, with nothing out of place. It was about mid-level sweet, and leaned slightly towards the creamy sweet, but only slightly. No bitterness could be found, and there was a certain earthy-ness that kept it grounded. Soup to Nuts might just be applicable here, as this one covered a lot of bases, and checked most of the boxes. I think it could be best summed up like a Creamy Jif peanut butter paired with crunchy salted nuts. With it's authenticity, complexity, and dual personalities I could see many uses for this one. Easily **9.75/10**.

**Vanilla Ice Cream (CSC) 1.5% (6-24-21)** -- 2nd to last on deck in this huge series of Chef's new SC's. My initial reaction to this was, "This might be the BEST Vanilla Ice Cream" I have ever tried. 10ml later, that hasn't changed, and that's kind of a big deal. At 1.5% this one was a real show stopper, which had all the notes needed to convince you of it's namesake. Missing were some of the commonly found dairy notes in some flavors, that were dairy, but not really Ice Cream. Chefs did a really bang up job on this one. Incredible mouthfeel for an ice cream, and while not "buttery" like another well known VIC, it didn't need it, you didn't miss it, and actually you didn't even WANT it. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this one, but needless to say, all the players were here, creamy, rich, present, but not overbearing vanilla, and loads of mouthfeel. A few ticks above mid sweet, and no pepper, no off notes, no nonsense present. For a great, clean vanilla ice cream that truly captured all aspects of a VIC, this one should be on your rack. For anyone else, it should be on YOUR rack too !!!! I would rate it at 10.1/10, but I promised I'd never do that again. Easily, **10/10**.

**Waffle (CSC) 1.5% (6-27-21)** -- With this Waffle, this massive first run of flavors from Chefs will be completed. I have tested more than a few Waffles, and when I smelled this one, it immediately reminded me of a now discontinued INW Waffle-YC. Having never solo'd INW's I can't do a direct A/B comparison, but suffice it to say this one was very good. Missing were some of the almost cake-y notes that some waffles have, and in turn this one had some great mid and dark tones to it. It was more like a whole wheat waffle than a lighter one. No overt wheat, but the grainy notes, and slightly thicker, darker-ness was easily observed, AND enjoyed. No sharp edges, or off notes, and was a little below mid level sweet. No overt butter or syrup, and that left it as a deliciously blank waffle canvas to work with. I really enjoyed the darker richness of this one. At 1.5% it almost felt like it could use a smidge more, but was in no was lacking. All in, this one presented as a great, somewhat darker, almost whole wheat waffle with some smoother, lighter notes. High points given for no obvious butter or syrup, leaving it ready to work. Easily a **9.5/10**.

Capella Silverline SFT Reviews by SessionDrummer

Re-posting these reviews over to ECF.

https://..................../recipe/3440128/Capella+Silverline+SFT

**Cinnamon Sugar (Silverline) (CAP) 2.0% (2-8-20)** -- Any cinnamon flavor I've tested AFTER trying Flavorah's Rich Cinnamon, has an almost impossible task, of trying to stay relevant (yes the FLV IS that good). So, disclaimer aside, decided to go conservative on this one @ 2%, for cinna safety. At this % it was nicely full, with mid level sweetness, and had no off-putting or harsh notes. Cinna's can be tricky, and some are just plain unsafe, and/or harsh. I know all of CAP's cinna tricks, so I was curious to see where this one fell. To my palate, this was a close cousin to the cinna in CAP's Cinnamon Danish Swirl. No bakery, no nothing, except cinna and sweet. As far as uses, and mixers, I could see this working perfectly in bakery recipes. How does it compare to the ivory tower goddess from FLV ?? Ehhhh, it gets beat down, but, I don't think anyone wlll ever beat FLV regarding cinnamon. With that said, it's not a bad cinna, and even at 2%, considering CAP's Silverline is typically their weaker line, this one held it's own, and worked well here. It was nicely full at 2%, but nowhere near as rich as FLV's, which again, was expected. On it's own, not a bad sweetened cinnamon that would DEF. work in almost any bakery, with no cinnamon hot present. Feels good at **7/10**.

**Fruit Circles (Silverline) (CAP) 8.0% (2-8-20)** -- I had heard rumors this one WAS the fruit loops go to, and after trying almost every other "looper" out there, they all seemed to attempt to tame the lemon pledge from TPA's Fruit Circles to varying degrees of success. Not sure what to expect from CAP's "lower" line, I was very surprised by this one. Maybe Silverline should be called the weaker line, not the lower line, as this one was QUITE good. Clearly not as strong as many of my regular CAP flavors, this one presented a load of cereal/somewhat grainy out of the gate, AND, I was NOT assaulted with any Lemon Pledge !!!!! That's two plusses already, and the very even tempered fruit levels added a third plus, with the possible milk element, and middle of the road sweetness level sealing the deal. It was so good that dare I say it COULD be a single flavor daily vaper ?? I think maybe so. With CAP costs per ml averaging to 0.13/ml, and the Silverline averaging 0.09/ml (30ml bottles from BCF), you can still save money, even assuming a higher % usage rate. It felt pretty good @ 8% as a solo, with (repeating), a nice cereal/grainy note full center, with a very even, not overpowering fruit medley that vaped like a damned fine fruit loops. I tested it WITH some small amounts of TPA Fruit Circles, but it almost felt better without. You could clearly push and pull this a bit, maybe add some more cream/milk, but as a single flavor, CAP really got this one right. **9.6/10**.
________________________________________________________________________________________

**Apple Snacks (Silverline) (CAP) 7.0% (2-8-20)** -- It's starting to look like the Silverline line is getting cereals right. Now this doesn't mean a single flavor would be better than a crafted recipe, but this one might save you a LOT of time. It's missing the ultra bright high end that a Fuji could bring to this, but it does have a very accurate apple, to the original cereal. Speaking of cereal, it's got plenty of it in here, and quite frankly, tastes a LOT like the cereal, more than any other companies offerings. I read another review wherein, there was a "it even has the cardboard like taste that the cereal does", and that actually IS accurate. Doesn't mean you're vaping cardboard, but if you've eaten the cereal, you get it, it's IN here. You can almost taste the little red flecks (red apple maybe) in the Apple J cereal in here. Was really on point @ 7% it was very full, almost rich, and the sweetness was right in the middle of the scale. I didn't get any specific milk, but there may be an element of it in here, thickening up the mix. Some slight (very slight) hints of some spice, but they blend perfectly in to the mix. All in all, this is a GREAT Apple Jacks flavor, out of the bottle, no added flavors needed. About the only thing I could even THINK of adding, might be a super smidge of Fuji, just to pop the apple, but even without, you're not left wanting. Almost perfect IMO. **9.8/10**.

**Biscuit (Silverline) (CAP) 5.0% (2-9-20)** -- LAST one on deck for this run. I KNEW this one was different the moment I loaded the Steam Crave up with it. Smelling while filling and all that, and I kept getting a Coconut ?? What ?? !! Well sure enough. This one immediately conveyed a sweet biscuit, but a COCONUT biscuit at that. Wait, what ? Yes. What biscuits do most of us use ?? INW Biscuit, and probably Jungle Flavors Biscuit. INW is a real traditional American, Bisquik like dry unsweetened. The Jungle Flavors is less dry, more sweet, and possibly more European styled. This one leaned heavily towards the JF Biscuit, because it was sweeter, not dry, and had quite a bit of Coconut in it. How much ?? Maybe along the lines of how much you get from TPA's Cheesecake Graham. Now, what's surprising, is it was pretty damned good as a sweet coconut biscuit. Now what's bad, is there's no coconut IN the name LOL. Unlike a more neutral (either dry or sweet) biscuit, this WILL limit where you can use it. The even funnier thing is, the coconut wasn't bad at all, and was actually quite good. Not greasy (you know who you are FA), not floral, not candied, but a bakery coconut. There you have it, it's a sweet, coconut biscuit, game over. Because of the very present (but quite good) coconut, will have to tick this one down a few, as despite being able to use this in almost any coconut bakery, using as a straight biscuit will be hard. Great taste though, and I can't stress that enough, but as a "biscuit" will have to drop to **5.5/10**.

**Butter Pecan (Silverline) (CAP) 5.5% (2-8-20)** -- IMO, Flavor West has the Butter Pecan to beat, so not sure where this one will rank. First vaping did reveal some Pecans with maybe some creamy elements mixed in. I didn't get the butter I expected, which left me wanting in that regard. As far as the pecan portion, it was not terribly done, not stellar, but above average. @ 5.5%, it was full and didn't feel weak, with no off notes. It's a shame to mark this one down as the pecan was good, but the creamy elements didn't make up for the butter part. Creamy pecan might be better, and I think Flavor West has spoiled me on BP. A great pecan but missing much of the butter about sums this one up. Above average, but in the average realm none the less. Leaving this one at **6.5/10**.

**Crunchy Frosted Cookie (Silverline) (CAP) 5.0% (2-8-20)** -- Mmmmm, this one'sa good one. Knew it on the first vape. It's got some has(es), and has(nots). What it has is a almost velvety smooth texture, almost like a very expensive frosting (duh frosted cookie) that is hard to convey how smooth it is. The main cookie element is exactly what you'd expect from a light sugar cookie, and you can almost taste the sprinkles on top. The sweetness is mid-high on this, which is expected for a (duh) frosted cookie. Super velvety smooth, not overly rich, but sweet, tasty, and very full @ 5%. The moment I tasted it I immediately thought of a few recipes that would benefit from this one. Now the cookie is def. in there, with plenty of the tell-tale bakery notes, but it's lacking in some of the grainy-ness that would better define the cookie part. Now, does that leave you wanting when vaping it. Not really, but just an observation. For a delish sugar cookie, that seemlessly blends into a super smooth frosting with (almost) sprinkles on the top, this will get you there. As a mixer I could see this being used quite a bit. In comparison CAP's Sugar Cookie has much more mid tones, lacks the frosting and high end sugary punch that this one gives you. Some vanilla may be in there, but the lighter sugar cookie and frosting steal the show here. Only take-off would be for some missing grain to drive the delicious bakery elements home. **9.2/10**.

**Whipped Marshmallow (Silverline) (CAP) 5.0% (2-9-20)** -- Getting near the bottom of this little group, and being a Marshmallow lover, I'm always on the prowl for a good one to mix with. At 5% this MM was nice and, well, Marshmallowy. My current go to's are FA MM, and TPA MM and each behave quite a bit differently, and taste different, so trying to figure out where this one falls in between them will be a challenge. To my tastes, this one almost fell in the MIDDLE of them. I was getting many of the real mallow notes that I got from my FA, and some of the sweeter high end notes from the TPA. Because this is a Single Flavor Test, it's outside the scope of this review to discuss using it as a blending agent, or any possible muting effects, if any, but it was a great MM. Whipped always implies a lighter, aerated type of flavor, and if this makes sense, it was lighter, but not light. Confused ?? Good, let's continue. As far as candied vs. gooey, this one leaned towards gooey which I think will give it broader uses. Some vanilla-ish elements in there for good measure, and it was a surprisingly good vape solo @ 5%. This one surprised me, and am going to go high on the rate with it accordingly. Nice vanilla-ish, goey Marshmallow that has pretty good mouthfeel, but not overly dense, with some restraint in the sweetness department. Feels really good at **9/10**.

Hexohm Battery Suggestions

What's up ECC,
First off, I hope everybody's doing well and staying safe out there! Thanks in advance for your time and input.
So yeah, as the title states, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my first hexohm. This thing has been a long time coming for me, so I want to be ready to set it up right, fresh outta the box. I already have the matching atty covered, but I need to pickup a couple pairs of 18650's for it. Normally, I run Sony VTC6's in my regulated mods, and Molicel p26a's in mechs. But I'm not sure where the hexohm would fall? I'm also curious about the p28's. Are they worth %150 the price?
Anyway, all of that to say; what batteries (and from where) should I order for my new Hexohm V3? (If it's any help, my standard build is a single in Ni80 around .25-.3ohm.) Thanks!
