It was posted on my local Nextdoor this morning. The howls of outrage from the moms went on for many pages. Apparently the Vape Truck belongs to a convenience store chain called Circle K. Don't know if they are doing it nationwide. No idea what the story behind it is.

It's often been said to test a new coil build on a regulated mod before using it in a mech mod. Just for fun, I tested a new build on multiple platforms to see how consistent they are:

Incidentally, the old coils were in there for 8 months, although this unit is in rotation, so maybe a months worth of actual use.

Also, the top cap was just about impossible to remove from the tube. I had to insert a chap stick into it and slam it on the desk for it to come off.

This is the 521 mini V2 that will meter or fire a coil. There's a 3-way switch, with off in the middle.
I was sure that it was turned off, but in handling the kit bag, the switch must have been pushed and turned on. Even with no atty on the tester, it completely drained an 18650 battery.

This was confirmed on a multi-meter. 0 volts.
I know that this battery is done, but it's interesting that my charger completely ignored it.

Based on this, I'd recommend not storing the tester with a battery in it. It probably already says that in the instructions. Maybe there's one person out there that didn't know this already, so here it is.

I've been out of vaping since about 2011. I'm looking to get a good setup to start up again, I might be starting a job which requires a nicotine hit now and again to keep me alert. What is going on these days? It looks like the laws have all gone stupid and I hear about people saying they only have tobacco flavors now and other lame stuff I'm hearing. I thought technology would have improved, not regressed. So back before I quit I was considering a custom titanium or otherwise setup with aftermarket batteries.

I'm very familiar with this type of stuff having been a flashlight collector and electronics hobbyist for over twenty years, but I don't understand what is going on out there these days with the laws and all the proprietary systems I see out there nowadays with the proprietary batteries. I have a lot of spare lithium ion batteries setting around, so I'd be happy to use them in custom setups. For reference the last vape setup I had was an Ego-T with the refillable tanks and that had an internal proprietary rechargeable battery. And I used to purchase my vape juice separate from custom online shops like Mom and Pop's Vape Shop. Could someone point me in the right direction so I can get a decent new setup? I'm taking it they don't have flavors like cotton candy or /pineapple-watermelon anymore? I guess that's only reserved for marijuana these days.

Hey guys. We haven't introduced an Innokin device for a long time. Today let's look at their Coolfire Z80 Kit, don't miss out on it if you'd like to have a try. Here we go!

Innokin Coolfire Z80 Kit consists of the Coolfire Z80 Mod and the Zenith 2 Tank. Let's start with the mod. As you can see, its styling is very "Coolfire"-like and has lovely smooth curves with leather or suede textured grip areas. Surrounding the grip areas is the main zinc alloy frame which is either GunMetal, Dark Grey, or Silver. The mod requires a single 18650 battery for power and has a variable wattage output of 6-80W. Welcome back. I know it hasn’t been long since my last review but you can’t say I didn’t warn you that I had more coming. Thanks for tuning in. Today I will be taking a look at the Vaporesso GTX Go 40 and GTX Go 80 kits. I decided to combine them into one review because they are very similar but there are a few differences. I’ve always considered Vaporesso to be an innovative company and once again they have come out with a new design in these simple kits that I am rather excited to talk about. I was sent two of each for the review by Vaporesso to provide a fair and honest review so let’s see if I can accomplish that.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

I really didn’t know much about the GTX Go 40 and 80 before I received them. I was surprised but grateful that Vaporesso sent two of each kit for the review. The packaging is pretty basic but that makes sense since they are basic devices in my opinion. I was a little surprised after examining the contents of each kit that each kit only included one coil. That is unusual for Vaporesso. In the past, every Vaporesso device that I can think of that I have reviewed has come with two coils or pods. I do think that I understand why. I believe these kits are designed for people that are either just switching to vaping or people that just want a no frills device that they can just pop a coil in and go without having to change any settings besides adjusting the airflow. It was a little nostalgic to use a tube style mod again. It had been ages since I’ve used one that wasn’t a box mod.

The GTX GO 40 obviously has a 40 watt output maximum. It contains a built in 1500mah battery and includes the new GTX22 pod which holds 3.5ml of liquid and came with a .6 ohm GTX coil. To me the pod somewhat resembles the pod that came with the PX80 kit that I reviewed in the past. The pod is slightly tinted but clear enough that I can clearly see how much liquid is in the pod. That I like very much. I’m so sick of pods where you have to shine a flashlight through them to see how much liquid remains in the pod. One thing that is different about this pod compared to the PX80 is that it is a top fill. Someone at Vaporesso was listening to us. I wouldn’t even call it a ¼ turn. The top cap just takes a very slight turn to take it off to refill. I liked the molded tip on the top cap well enough but do kind of wish that the tip was replaceable. There is a red seal on the bottom of the top cap and the fill port on the GTX22 pod has a gasket that you insert the tip of your fill bottle through that helps to keep liquid from spilling. There is also a vent hole to try to keep it from vapor locking. I might have been trying to fill the pod too fast but I had to squeeze and then release my bottle a few times while filling instead of being able to just squeeze and hold the bottle. It was kind of like a pressure lock.










The GTX GO 80 once again is obviously an 80 watt maximum output device. It contains a 3000mah internal battery. The pod included with the 80 is the GTX26 pod and has a liquid capacity of 5ml. The coil included with this kit just happens to be my favorite GTX coil the .2 ohm coil. I very much like this coil at 45 watts and the airflow mostly open in other devices and liked it in the GTX26 pod with the airflow about ¾ open. Just like the GTX22 pod, the GTX26 pod is top fill with the same design elements as the 22. I had the same experience when filling the 26 and had no mess with either one.

Both devices have a USB-C charging port and have the Vaporesso name on one side and the V logo on the other side. The fire button on both is a textured plastic and sticks out slightly. Both devices also utilize the SSS leak resistant technology. I have had no leaking whatsoever with either unit and almost no condensation. The GTX Go 40 came with only the .6 coil but I decided that I’d like to try a coil with more airflow so installed a .3 coil from my personal stock. I really liked it for DTL but the 1500mah didn’t last quite as long. Then with the GTX Go 80 I decided to go the opposite direction from the .2 included coil and put a .6 ohm coil from my stock. The airflow even fully open was restricted quite a bit due to the design of the coil. I was able to do a somewhat airy MTL vape with this set up and the 3000mah battery seemed to last forever. Both devices also have a ring of light around the fire button that is illuminated when pressed indicating the battery level. The highest is green followed by blue and then red. When it turns red it’s time to charge the device.











FINAL THOUGHTS:

First of all, I think it was very smart for Vaporesso to design the new pods with top fill and continue to use the GTX series of coils. I did enjoy testing both the GTX Go 40 and 80. I can definitely see the advantage of such a simple design especially for those that are just switching to vaping. Just install any coil within the operating range of the 40 or any of the GTX coils with the 80 and take a puff. It is nice that you can turn the pod to adjust the airflow through the slots cut out in the top of the body. The top fill seal on the pods allows filling with virtually no mess and helps to prevent leaking if tipped over with the top cap off. The magnets hold the pod in securely with little or no chance of the pod coming off by accident.

I would have to say that my favorite coils that I used were the .2 coil in the GTX Go 80 and the .3 coil in the GTX Go 40. I would have liked the .6 coil in the 40 more if I could have changed the tip on the top cap. The .6 coil restricts the airflow enough that I would have preferred a smaller drip tip. I guess that would be my one con with both of these devices. I would have liked to have been able to change the drip tips out but they are molded as part of the top caps. The tip on the 80 isn’t bad with the .2 coil since it’s DTL. I don’t know for sure but wouldn’t think it would have been too hard to make the tips replaceable. However, I think that these kits are going to be rather inexpensive so they were probably made that way in order to keep costs down as well as keeping new users from losing the tips and not having replacements like a lot of us more experience vapers do.

Here we are again at the end. I apologize if I didn’t cover every detail but tried to focus more on my experience with these devices. Would I recommend the GTX Go 40 and 80 for you? If you’re looking for a simple device with no frills that vapes well and uses the tried and true GTX series of coils then yes I would. Hello again folks and welcome back for today's review of the Jackaroo Pod Kit from Vandy Vape. I would like to thank Lilia and Sourcemore for providing the Jackaroo Pod Kit for todays review. If your familiar with the IP67 rated original 21700 Jackaroo or the dual 18650 version you know how tough and rugged both devices are but at the cost of heavy weight with the original, the dual 18650 version is actually lighter. Vandy Vape decided to manufacture a much lighter version of the 2 heavyweight brothers and make it a Pod based device with a internal battery capable of 70 watts, can be a true MTL or DL and RDL vape and has a optional RDTA Pod.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


The kit contents are housed in a slide out inner box and contain all the included parts in their own cut out section including a additional MTL drip tip, coil removal assist tool, type-c charge cable, additional 0.9Ω mesh MTL coil, the 0.3Ω mesh coil comes pre-installed in the pod. The qualified certificate as well as the owners manual are below under the device. I was sent the Glacier Silver color and at first look wasn't thrilled but it has now grown on me and I'm happy with it's look.





As most pod systems attach using magnets so does the Jackaroo using 3 powerful magnets that hold tight with no wiggle of the pod once installed and can be picked up and shaken without fear of the pod coming loose from the device.

Vandy Vape has a protective sticker on the base of the pre-installed 0.3Ω mesh coil to prevent a accidental firing of the device. Vandy Vape includes a coil removal assist tool in the kit so it can be removed more easily, I didn't need to use it but it's nice that they included it in the kit. Always remember to prime your coil with a few drops of liquid and after installing in the pod let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes to fully saturate the coil before using.





You will notice with all compatible coils that there are no air holes below the red bottom base o ring making it leakproof unless sitting unused for some time or vaping the device under the recommended minimum wattage.





Most pod devices have 2 contact pins that make contact with the coil, however the Jackaroo pod device has 3 contact pins because it has a optional RDTA pod and that is what the 3rd pin is used for, when the device was sent the RDTA pod was not in stock for review unfortunately.





The airflow on this pod is a dual honeycombed style and consist of 12 holes on each side of the airflow control ring for a total of 24 that can be opened fully or closed down to just 1 hole for a great true throat hit MTL vape. Turning the airflow control ring closes or opens the holes by 2 vertically, turning further opens or closes the holes by 1. Resistance of the airflow control ring is firm but not to tight, once set it's not coming off your setting until you chose to change it. The supplied drip tips are standard 510 and very comfortable to use, I saw no need to use my own.





As I often encounter in reviews, manufacturers tint their pods so dark that juice viewing is impossible unless held up to a light source, Vandy Vape tinted the pod on the Jackaroo perfectly giving it a nice smoked appearance but leaving it light enough to view your juice level in almost any light setting.








Vandy Vape really put the time in when developing this kit and it shows in so many ways, this is one of the best top fill pods I've ever used. Position of the fill port is dead center on one side and to open simply push up with your thumb and hear the pop of the plug coming out. The plug end sits flush so no accidental opening will happen.





The fill plug can be rotated to either side when filling, The hole opening is large enough for any size bottle tip or dripper. The device is lightweight but strong enough to stand unsupported with a bottle of juice sticking in it. There's so many good things with this kit and I have only reviewed the pod so far.







The device has a smart feature that all devices should have that protect the coil from having too much wattage applied to it rendering it burnt and unusable, It knows the maximum wattage allowed for any compatible coil and won't exceed the maximum wattage for that coil. This is a great feature for new vapers as well as vets, it's happened to all of us, you get distracted and forget or change to a higher Ω coil and forget to adjust the wattage down and burn up a brand new coil, with the smart feature this wont happen.

There are 2 modes to this device and both are wattage only, the 1st is smart mode that I already talked about and the 2nd is RBA mode using the optional RDTA pod and letting you reach 70 watts in this mode. Remember this is a 2000 mAH built in battery so life will be low with lower builds .

The display uses a smoked panel cover that I wish was a bit less smoked for more brightness. Indoors the display is bright enough and vivid as well but you will struggle to see it clearly in bright sunlight.

The display uses 2 colors to distinguish each mode, green is for the smart mode and blue is for the RBA mode. The device will automatically recognize what pod has been attached and use the appropriate color on the display screen.

The display screen has a very nice layout to it with everything you need easily seen with nice sized fonts and numbers, screen layout from top to bottom and left to right.

VVC-90 0.9Ω MESH COIL


I am very glad that a DL and MTL coil were provided in this kit, I really didn't have high hopes on the VVC 0.9Ω mesh coil when first opening the package without yet trying because very few systems are able to provide a good vape MTL and DL, it's usually one or the other and rarely both.

Because of the honeycombed airflow you can shut it down to only 1 hole if you so desired for a true very tight MTL vape that gives great flavor and provide a very nice throat hit.

This airflow system allows you to tailor the tightness to loose or tight and anywhere in between, I am very impressed how well this pod vapes in MTL mode because I vape both MTL and RDL on a daily basis. Flavor is above average on the 0.9Ω mesh coil. Using the 0.9Ω coil you will easily get a entire day on 1 charge.


VVC-0.3Ω MESH COIL


After running the 0.9Ω mesh through it's paces it was time for the 0.3Ω mesh to be tested. As with the 0.9Ω mesh coil I washed and dried out the pod, primed the coil and let it sit for 10 minutes. As with the fist coil when the pod was attached the device lit up and the wattage was changed to the recommended wattage automatically without changing it from the 0.9Ω coils wattage setting already on the device.

I started at the recommended wattage of 35w and after some adjustment vapes with different wattages found the 35w recommended by the device to be my sweet spot for a very smooth flavorful vape with enough vapor and warmth.

Flavor really pops and that surprised me although it shouldn't because most company's coils have improved a great deal recently.

Impressed is what I feel using the 0.3Ω mesh coil and 0.9Ω mesh coil that performed great and are still going good after many pod fills and that's another big plus for both coils. I averaged about 248 - 254 vapes before needing to recharge using the 0.3Ω coil.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS


Well as you could tell I am very impressed and really love everything about the Jackaroo Pod Kit but wish less tinting was used on the display screen, that's the only con that I could find. The 2 coils provided are absolutely fantastic for flavor and they give off plenty of vapor.

I will state that I thought this was going to be another attempt like so many other company's say their device can vape MTL and DL equally well but the Jackaroo can actually do the task and do it very well. Even though it's small compared with it's older brothers it still has that definite Jackaroo look with a ribbed spine.



All in all the Jackaroo Pod Kit exceeded my expectations and proved itself to be a big winner. If your in the market for a device that will deliver a true MTL or DL to RDL vape and has coils that provide great flavor, don't leak and have great life to them look no further, not to mention it's tough as nails IP 67 rating. I wish that the RDTA Pod was in stock at the time this was delivered, I would have liked to test it out as well.

GeekVape Z50 + Z Nano Tank

The Geekvape Z50 kit uses a small mod with a built-in 2,000mAh battery with 50W of maximum output. Circuit functions include Power, Bypass, VPC, TC-TCR, TC-SS modes with Type-C 5V-2A charging.

First impressions:
The Zeus Nano atomizer present in this kit is a faithful scaled-down copy of the famous Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank that equips the new Aegis L200 Legend 2.
Zeus Nano is designed for RDL use in full harmony with the device that delivers 50W Max of power. The Coils are both of the new Mesh type.
I particularly appreciated the presence in the package of a 3.5ml Bubble glass to immediately replace the small glass of 2ml capacity (TPD) .

The Mod Z50 is slim and slender, built in sturdy zinc alloy, weighs about 120g has a simple design but with artistic decorations, a nice color display and several functions, in addition to the classic VW mode are present; Bypass, VPC, TC-TCR, TC-SS. Not bad!
Geekvape claims to have been aesthetically inspired by nothing less than the Doric columns of the Acropolis of Athens. The color gold or marble IML coating of the side panels gives a nice bright and energetic look.





Ergonomics:
GeekVape Z50 gives good feedback in the hand thanks to the smooth surface that contrasts nicely with the decorations perceptible to the touch. The Mod is undoubtedly sturdy not too heavy and is easily handled.



Z50 Display and rear:
The dark colored screen extends all along the front of the Z50. At the top is the slightly protruding Fire key, in the center a nice bright and colorful display with indications of; battery level, current mode, power, Ohm, Amper, Volt and Puff counter.
Below we find the adjustment keys "+" and "-" and at the bottom there is a USB-C 5V-2A port for charging.

On the back, the refined similarity with the Doric column of the Parthenon is supported by the new "mythological" logo of Zeus in a central position and by the thin and deep vertical grooves. From bottom to top, the word "Geekvape Z" appears.



Z50 Above and below:
The 510 thread cup contains the floating type gold plated pin and is screwed to the mod via 2 torx screws. The cup have a serial number on the edge.
They can be installed perfectly and without 22 / 23mm atomizers protrusions.

On the bottom of the Z50 there is a curious cap of unidentified soft material, which should "melt" and allow the battery to vent in case of problems.
Always on the bottom there are the disposal logo, the brand (C E) and are indicated; the characteristics of the cell, the place of origin and the manufacture by Geekvape.

I went to a vape shop near me and got a cherry flavouring the brand is supposed to be from my country and it's called atmoslab not that anyone would know just saying and anyway they show the manufacturing date and they say it expires 24months after that sooooo that means it expired in May of 2020 lol

I will get it back to them for sure to replace it but I wanted to ask if anyone knows if those flavourings really expire?
I mean probably they may last more than that? Anyone ever had experience with one that was expired???

The flavour sucked and I was wondering "I don't like cherry?" Or is just this juices is bad??? Never had cherry before

I took some of the advice from you guys and got some high quality batteries for my Voopoo Drag X and chucked the ones I got from the local vape store. Everything is working fine now. Why would good batteries stop the "atomizer short" message?
