Hello again and welcome back for today's review of the M100 Kit from Geekvape , the M100 device is the big upgrade from the Aegis Mini with so many new features that I'll cover later on. I was sent a sample version for this review, the final retail version will have the spare parts bag included. In the Kit you also get the Z Nano 2 Tank that uses the B series of coils. For those of you that don't want to use replaceable batteries the M100 will suite you having a internal 2500mAh battery with a power range of 5-100 watts and is still waterproof, dustproof and shockproof but now has a higher rating of IP68. For those that want the ability to change out the battery stay tuned for the S100 that hasn't yet arrived. There's a bunch of new features in the new M100 so let's get started shall we.

UNBOXING AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS


I was sent the reviewers sample kit that doesn't include the spare parts bag of goodies but the final retail version will, also packaging will be different as well. When I first opened the orange cover I very impressed with the new look that Geekvape came up with, gone is the fully encased silicone rubber which is a lint magnet needing to be rinsed off often.

The new look uses very hard plastic and metal for it's main materials with a soft luxurious looking leather spine, silicone rubber is still used on the bottom and top of the device. On the interior portion of the device is a bezel that surrounds the inner portion and it's appearance looks like black onyx next to the brushed stainless steel side panels that have GEEKVAPE on them which really dresses up the M100.

Also in the kit is the Z Nano 2 Tank that I have covered in previous reviews so I wont be covering much of it, it's a solid performer using the B coil series that I still use. The drip tip for the Z Nano Tank is a 510 that is replaceable but I still use it because it's comfortable.





The Z Nano 2 Tank comes with the 0.2Ω NI80 mesh coil rated at 50-58w pre-installed with the 0.6Ω KA1 mesh coil rated at 15-25w, always prime your coils with a little juice and or fill the tank and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to fully saturate the coil.





Opening up the top cap is easy with the knurling notch's and it being a quarter turn to open and close back up, 2 kidney shaped fill slots make filling the tank quick and mess free.





The top plate of the M100 is attached with 4 screws and feels very well anchored in place, even though the Z Nano Tank measures 22ml at the base it still looks like it belongs on the device that can fit a 24mm atomizer without any overhang.





Just as the Legend 2 does the M100 hides the type-c charge port at the top of the device in the same location, looking at it you would not know it's there. The cover is made from silicone rubber and a tab that plugs into a opening securing the cover in place making a waterproof connection. Fast charging is done with 5v/2A.





Soft cushy leather covers the spine of the device and has a luster that really looks high end, 3 stiches of fabric run horizontally in the center top of the spine for a added flare of style, 2 rows of black stitching run vertically from top to bottom on each side to finish off the look.




Both of the side panels are brushed metal with the GEEKVAPE name on them , the brushed metal further enhances the style of the M100 as the below picture shows, having a IP68 rating is great and knowing the M100 could take some abuse but something this beautiful will be pampered by me.





On the other side of the device is where the magic happens, the M100 has the A-Lock switch that locks all buttons from operating making a more simplified method when putting in a pocket or such, using the locking switch is a breeze up is unlocked and down locks everything. It also blends in with the mod very well.





The M100 uses the same display as the Legend 2 and it's information layout is also the same as the Legend 2. The menu is also equally the same easy one.

Another new feature the M100 has is BUCK/BOOST and for high ohm builders this will be a very nice feature, also with constant power you won't notice a drop in power until about 10% of battery capacity is left.


I really want to give Geekvape a very big thumbs up on the new M100's refreshed look, I still love and use my Aegis devices outside but the M100 will be strictly used indoors on my desk. Pairing the Z Nano Tank with the M100 was also a very good choice for Geekvape because they look so well paired together.

USING THE M100 AND Z NANO 2 TANK


First I will say the Z Nano Tank performs great and I have reviewed and used the Nano in the past and it's never let me down, very good flavor with smooth airflow and plenty of capacity for juice.

The M100 has performed great and the A-Lock is fantastic, no more 5 clicks when putting it in a pocket just flip the switch down and you and the device are protected from unintentional firing.

The new appearance is stunning and really looks elegant with all the dressed up features like the bezel that looks like onyx, soft cushy leather, brushed metal sides and the A-Lock switch even has some ribbing enhancing the look even more.

Having Buck/Boost really increases the vaping time, at 1 battery mark on the display is when you notice the decrease of power giving a very week vape but up until then it's constant power.

One other thing I want to mention is the travel of 510 pin is long so all atomizers up to a 24mm will fit flush with no gap showing.

I would like to thank Allison and Geekvape for providing the M100 Kit for the purpose of this review and can't wait for the S100 kit that uses a single replaceable 18650 battery. I hope this review helped anyone looking to purchase the M100 Kit. ( IT'S A WINNER )

Hi, my name is Jordan and I am 19 years old. I probably been vaping for a year and I have recently experienced shortness of breath 3 days ago. I am the type of person who spams the hell out of the vapes hitting every 5 to 10 minutes. Today I have yet another tank from Geekvape that was sent to me for the purpose of providing this review. This tank is the new Geekvape Z MTL Tank that is specifically designed for MTL vaping. I knew almost nothing about the tank before receiving it and was thinking that it was going to be an RTA but in fact it is not and uses the A series coils. Like many other Geekvape tanks, the Z MTL makes use of top to bottom airflow in order to provide very good flavor.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The Z MTL Tank arrived in standard reviewer sample packaging with the outer black sleeve and the two part box with the tank in a foam insert and the user guide, spare coil, o rings, and spare drip tip underneath in a separate box. The Z MTL uses the A series coils and the .8 ohm coil rated for 12-16 watts was pre-installed in the tank while the 1.2 ohm coil rated at 8-12 watts was in the accessory pack.

I was a little surprised to find that there wasn’t a spare glass included in the kit but after inspection of the tank I understood why. The glass on this tank is not replaceable. It is protected by the cage with the Z cut outs so breakage shouldn’t be an issue.






The drip tip installed on the tank is rather skinny and reminds me a little of tip from the Siren V4 that I reviewed. It is in fact a 510 drip tip so you can put your favorite one on the tank if you prefer to. The top cap is ¼ turn to remove as we’ve become quite accustomed to seeing on many Geekvape tanks. On this one though, the drip tip has the o rings on it rather than being inside the top cap like the P Tank was. On the under-side of the top cap is a single seal to keep the top from leaking.







Directly below the top cap is the airflow control ring which has two sets of three holes opposite of each other to provide either a tight MTL or a very loose almost to the point of and RDL with all the holes wide open. Beside each set of holes is “GEEKVAPE Z” stamped into the ring on each side.

Rather than have the usual glass section like most Geekvape tanks I’ve used, this one has a metal cage protecting the glass portion except for the large Z cutout that allows you to see your liquid level in the tank. Also, of course it’s a slightly sly way to brand the tank since obviously anyone that sees it and is familiar with Geekvape will know it’s one of their tanks.

The bottom cap of the tank has notches in it to allow an easier grip on it and is tapered at the bottom like the P Tank that I recently reviewed. I’m assuming this is for aesthetic reasons.

On the bottom side of the tank there are three holes on each side of the coil opening for airflow for the tank. The base of the tank is 20mm and tapers up to 22mm on the body.






FINAL THOUGHTS:

I found the Geekvape Z MTL Tank to be pleasing aesthetically and thought that it performed well with the included coils. I got very good flavor from the coils and plenty of vapor production for a dedicated MTL tank.

The airflow with all three holes open is where I ended up running it the most for a very airy MTL vape almost bordering on an RDL. I was a little surprised that there weren’t different sized smaller airflow holes to allow the user to easily tighten the draw for a tighter MTL. However, you can adjust the three holes that are there all the way down to a partial hole if you like a really tight MTL.

I was a little disappointed that the glass is not replaceable since it will make it a little harder to clean but with the cage around it, breakage shouldn’t really be an issue.

I was hoping that it was going to be an RTA rather than a tank with drop in coils but I think it was well thought out and performed as it should. I would have liked to have seen more than the 2ml liquid capacity.

After reading AeroDan's scary review of the new vapor flask, I have been thinking about gutting one and replacing it with a DNA. Haven't really been able to find much information about dual battery DNAs beyond the DNA 75C/250C. Can a DNA 60 or 40 be used with a dual battery configuration? I assume the batteries would be in parallel to keep the voltage at single battery levels...

Any incite would be greatly appreciated.

I have an unpleasant problem with my smok nord x. The coil started to spit e-liquid in mouth and lips, so I changed coil to a new one, but this problem didn't disappear and whenever I make a puff , I get a large amount of e-liquid in my mouth. I want to mix a recipe from e-liquid-recipes but I bought a nic salt first
I guess there are recipes made with for a freebase nic. Can I mix them with salt instead of freebase nic? If yes is the amount the same as for the freebase?

Troll x rta is atomizer that you can use with one or with two coils. This atomizer comes in really nice package where you will receive coils, cotton, two tanks, airflow adapters, coil tool. This atomizer is 24mm in diameter and build quality is solid.




Atomizer comes with 810 drip tip and this drip tip is resin drip tip, in my opinion the drip tip is really comfortable for using, I like it a lot and I use it here. In case that you don't like this drip tip you can use here any other 810 drip tip without any problems.
This is a top fill atomizer and this fill system is pretty simple. On the top cap you can see the arrow and you need to push there top cap in order to open it. When you push it you will see the fill hole, on the fill hole you can see protection which is nice. You can pretty much easy fill the atomizer.






You will receive troll x with two different tanks which is nice, you will receive regular tank and you will receive bubble tank. Capacity of the atomizer with regular tank is 3ml and capacity with bubble tank is 4.4ml which is really good capacity in my opinion. Tank stays really nice in the place when you take off the base so you can change coil or cotton when you have e liquid in the tank.








On the base you can see 4 screws for coil leads and as I said you can use this atomizer with one coil or with two coils. In the package you will receive coils and cotton that you can use here if you don't have. In the package you will also receive tool that you can use to measure the coil leads. If you use this atomizer with two coils it is best to clip coil leads on 6mm.
On this atomizer you can change the airflow under the coil which I really like. On the picture you can see how each airflow adapter looks, personally I like honeycomb airflow better. You can pretty much easy change the airflow adapters on this atomizer.



On the base you can see the airflow control ring and on the base you can see 3 slots with airflow holes, really nice in my opinion. On each slot you can see 5 airflow holes. When you adjusting the airflow what you adjust on one slot it will be the same on all 3 slots. You can pretty much easy adjust the airflow on the atomizer.














My thoughts:

Let me start with the package. In the package you will receive bubble tank, coils, cotton, coil tool and two airflow adapters but you will not receive spare protection for fill hole. You can pretty much easy fill the tank here and protection on the fill hole will protect it from leaking on the top. Drip tip is very good in my opinion and I like to use it here. With buble tank capacity of the atomizer is 4.4ml which is great capacity. You can use this atomizer with one or with two coils which is nice, personally I like it with two cols. Flavor with two coils is very good in my opinion. I use this atomizer with honeycomb adapter and airflow is really good in my opinion. You can easily replace the airflow adapters here. Building and wicking is simple and I belive you will have no problems because tool from the pacakge will help you. You can expect a lot of airflow here and I like to close one hole on each side. In my opinion this is good atomizer and works better than previous version of the atomizer, basically I can't find something to complain about.
