Tried the BP Mods Pioneer DL kit mostly for it's roomier chimney.
Hooray ! Now the options of larger coil & preferred spacing above the air inlet are possible without regard to what the wick may or may not be in contact with.
I find that the larger coils allow to wicks to last a bit longer before the flavor falls off.
Bonus ; can also use a full size 3mm clapton type coil if desired.
The DL chimney has brought the atty to the level I was hoping for ; slightly better/more flavor than the dvarw's I'd been using, several coil type & size options, ridiculously easy to coil & wick & best top fill in the business.
Using it as a MTL with 1.5 air pin, flavor every bit as good as the standard chimney, I'd argue better as you can alter coil sizes & distance to really zero-in on what suits you.
They really should have the roomier chimney as standard & eliminate the space constraints of the standard one IMO.

Because I don't have enough squonk mods (lol), I decided to snag a BP Mods Bushido. Ordered it yesterday - it's coming from China so it'll probably be a few weeks before I see it. Hopefully, like a lot of my vapemail from China, I forget I even ordered it. I love surprises.

Ordered the green one which was a tough call over the orange one. Bottom fill is neat and I'm a sucker for small 18650 squonk mechs. Also nice is the use of aluminum vs. zinc alloy. Time will tell if my $47 was well spent.

after a search here found this "The list is not in order of preference. The top all-around, general purpose battery IMHO is the Panasonic PD or PF hybrid series, also sold by Orbtonic after being re-labeled as Orbtronic.

I make no judgement on the top high-amp battery for sub-ohm."...sound like a good choice for this low watt vaper?

GeekVape G18 First Impressions:
A definitely inconspicuous Vape Pen Kit with a tube having a diameter reduced to 18mm and a 510 type tank (with replaceable coils) equipped with AFC adjustment with 3 calibrated holes and refill from the top.
G18 immediately appears as a device dedicated to MTL vaping both for the type of coil supplied and for the small size of the tank and the drip-tip.

The operation of G18 is of the By-pass type with 3 selectable power steps and with the color of the combined LED (3.1V Red, 3.4V Blue, 3.7V Green), naturally the power will drop as the battery drops, so we can use the maximum energy available only with the battery charged, below 3.4V the "low power" mode will be automatically performed by the bypass circuit.

Reading the technical characteristics I did not expect such a well-sized battery (1300mAh) they are not few. So also for this reason I was very curious to try GeekVape's G18.

In the image below we see the new Vape Pen G18 together with the Aegis nano 30W pod and the Wenax K1 pod the Bypass type operation is common to all three devices, however G18 can count on greater autonomy thanks to a much longer internal battery.



GeekVape G18 Feeling:
It could not be otherwise, G18 is extremely comfortable to hold and is well finished. The Gunmetal paint (in my case) appears robust and very shiny perhaps too shiny, this fact favors the inevitable appearance of the dreaded fingerprints.



The main body bears the writing Geekvape arranged vertically and upwards is the round-shaped power button with integrated 3-color notification LED.

Fire Button, Led Lights:
• Power off: Press the fire button 5 times to turn off the device, the button flashes 2 times with green color.

Hey guys. Today let's check out the Oxva Xlim Kit which is the latest release from the quite young vape brand who have hit the market with a Bang! Some say it's better than the Uwell Caliburn Kit, is it really so? Let's find out together.

As you can see Oxva Xlim is a pod kit but does appear to have a few more features than the most basic kits provide. For a start, there is an 0.42" OLED screen to display your vaping data and you can adjust the wattage output from 5-25W. Another great feature is the airflow control located on the side of the device to allow you to adjust the airflow to your preference. Inside the mod is a 900mAh battery which is charged via the USB Type-C port at up to a 1A charge rate. This uses refillable but disposable pods. If you are new to vaping, it is often hard to find a proper way to inhale from a vape device and it is because people tend to forget that vaporizer is not a cigarette. Many smokers feel uncomfortable when the vape steam directly hit their lung. It needs to take time to find the best e-liquid to fit their needs and the way they use a vape device that is totally different than a cigarette. Before knowing how to vape correctly and properly, the first thing to know is how the vape device works.

How does a vape device work?
The structure of most vape devices is similar. They all require a battery power source inside the vape mod, and it heats up the coil thus vaporizes e-liquid inside the atomizer. The vapors inhale the vape steam through a drip tip to their mouth. A whole complete vape system calls a vape device. It is not working if separated by individual components.
However, some experienced vapors like to DIY their vape mod. Buying small parts of vape devices and mixing them together can fit their best vape experience. For beginners, we suggest starting with the vape mod set, vape pod, or disposable vape until you find your way to have fun with the DIY mod.

Are vape devices and e-cigarettes the same thing?
Yes, e-cigarettes and vaping devices are synonymous. Ever-evolving slang or brand names are also used to refer to vaping, such as “JUULing,” or“blowing clouds,” a nod to the smoke “cloud” produced by exhaling chemical-filled aerosols according to Lung.org.

How to use a vape device?

Choosing the right e-liquid
- E-liquid is the liquid that is converted into an aerosol by an e-cigarette or vaping, product. It is typically a mixture of water, food-grade flavoring, a choice of nicotine levels, cannabis(THC, CBD), propylene glycol(PG), or vegetable glycerin(VG).
- PG and VG are humectants used in e-liquid to produce aerosols that simulate combustible tobacco cigarette smoke.
- The ratio of PG and VG in the e-liquid can change base on whether flavor (higher levels of PG) or plume (higher levels of VG) is desired.


PG e-liquid gives an intense and stronger flavor with a more powerful hit, and VG e-liquid gives you large plumes of vapor when you exhaling. It needs to take time to find a suitable e-liquid between propylene glycol (PG) or vegetable glycerine (VG) e-liquids while you choosing. To experience both of them is the best way to find out which ratio of e-liquid fits your needs.

How do I inhale vape?
Two types of vaping techniques can be chosen and the way you use them usually depends on the different concentrations of nicotine you select.

- 12mg to 60mg is high concentrations of nicotine
- 6mg to 12mg is medium concentrations of nicotine
- 0mg to 6mg is low concentrations of nicotine

Mouth-to-lung
MTL vaping is best suitable for smaller sized vapes using high pure nicotine with higher resistance coils. This sort of vaping appears like smoking a cigarette closely and provides that similar type of throat hit that many smokers crave. Three steps to MTL vaping

1. How to vape properly is to slowly draw a vape device into your mouth, hold it with your mouth closed for seconds.
2. Open your mouth, and also breathe the vape into your lungs.
3. Breathe out after the vape steam is in your lungs.

If you're aiming to replace cigarette smoking after that this is the perfect way to vape appropriately.

Direct Lung
DL vaping is the best fit for larger vapes with low resistance coils, using low nicotine. It is a smoother hit and straight to the lung since it's used mostly with low or zero nicotine. Most vapor feels like taking a .... hit on this type of draw. It is easy to vape in 2 steps

1. Fast draw the vape directly to your lungs
2. Exhale right away just like breathing


Is short or long drags better?
Everybody is probably to have varying answers. It can depend upon the voltage/wattage you are using and how much vapor you want to make. Short drags are similar to real cigarettes and enough to give you quick nicotine filled and feeling, but it doesn't allow enough liquid across the heating coil, leaving you with an unsatisfying experience. Some vapors tend to take longer draws about 3 - 5 seconds with tons of flavor, big cloud, and generally satisfying.

So I’m highly addicted, can’t get off (let alone reduce) my Juul vaping, but my symptoms are escalating. It’s been a little bit over a year now … early on I had the usual, dry eyes, fatigue, etc. now it’s reached a stage where I have unbearable heartburn… I can’t go a day without taking handfuls of antacids. My gut is constantly bloated and it’s putting pressure on my upper GI tract - and I think my lungs as well- bc my chest feels heavy. Obelisk 200 Vs Obelisk 120:

I had already spoken very positively about the Obelisk 120 FC and its incredible charging speed of its integrated 3.700mAh cell. A new proposal from Geekvape now appears around the curious name "Obelisk". The new Obelisk 200 keeps the form factor and size almost unchanged, but it is a replaceable dual 18650 battery Mod.
Also for this version GeekVape used the "Unibody" CNC manufacturing technique in aluminum alloy. The two kits also differ in the use of a different sub-ohm Tank, the 120FC is equipped with the Zeus Tank with AFC from above while the 200 is supplied as a kit with the Obelisk sub-ohm Tank with air regulation from below. . The two tanks use the same identical Coil's series Z.

I received the Black version of the Obelisk 200 for this test.
The classic form factor in retro style is of sober extraction, the rounded edges, the weight contained in only 110g (mod), the construction in sturdy aluminum alloy and the compact dimensions, make the Obelisk 200 one of the double battery Box Mods. most interesting currently on the market.



Obelisk 200 Mod Side View:
The glossy finish on the black colored panels is very nice but is a magnet for fingerprints. The inscription "Geek vape" with silver light reflections appears on both sides.
The USB-C charging socket acts as a large safety "vent", and also allows you to charge the Mod in an upright position. However, I always recommend using an external charger when it comes to devices with replaceable cells, this certainly brings advantages in the sense of less circuit stress, better cell charging and greater safety.



Obelisk 200 Mod front/rear view:
The fire and adjustment keys "+" and "-" are well clickable, are well proportioned, seem well made, are protruding and do not produce abnormal noises.
The display is very bright and is adjustable as intensity in the percentage from 1 to 100%. With the maximum brightness selected it is good visualization even in light conditions outside those of the house. On the display it is possible to view all the information useful for vaping, mainly: Current mode, graphic indicator of the charge level of the two cells, set power, lock / unlock, Coil value, Amper, Volt, Puff counter.
The rear part on the sides is very rounded and connected and has two vertical grooves in the center, along the entire surface.
