Hello again folks and welcome back for today's review of the Jackaroo Pod Kit from Vandy Vape. I would like to thank Lilia and Sourcemore for providing the Jackaroo Pod Kit for todays review. If your familiar with the IP67 rated original 21700 Jackaroo or the dual 18650 version you know how tough and rugged both devices are but at the cost of heavy weight with the original, the dual 18650 version is actually lighter. Vandy Vape decided to manufacture a much lighter version of the 2 heavyweight brothers and make it a Pod based device with a internal battery capable of 70 watts, can be a true MTL or DL and RDL vape and has a optional RDTA Pod.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The kit contents are housed in a slide out inner box and contain all the included parts in their own cut out section including a additional MTL drip tip, coil removal assist tool, type-c charge cable, additional 0.9Ω mesh MTL coil, the 0.3Ω mesh coil comes pre-installed in the pod. The qualified certificate as well as the owners manual are below under the device. I was sent the Glacier Silver color and at first look wasn't thrilled but it has now grown on me and I'm happy with it's look.
As most pod systems attach using magnets so does the Jackaroo using 3 powerful magnets that hold tight with no wiggle of the pod once installed and can be picked up and shaken without fear of the pod coming loose from the device.
Vandy Vape has a protective sticker on the base of the pre-installed 0.3Ω mesh coil to prevent a accidental firing of the device. Vandy Vape includes a coil removal assist tool in the kit so it can be removed more easily, I didn't need to use it but it's nice that they included it in the kit. Always remember to prime your coil with a few drops of liquid and after installing in the pod let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes to fully saturate the coil before using.
You will notice with all compatible coils that there are no air holes below the red bottom base o ring making it leakproof unless sitting unused for some time or vaping the device under the recommended minimum wattage.
Most pod devices have 2 contact pins that make contact with the coil, however the Jackaroo pod device has 3 contact pins because it has a optional RDTA pod and that is what the 3rd pin is used for, when the device was sent the RDTA pod was not in stock for review unfortunately.
The airflow on this pod is a dual honeycombed style and consist of 12 holes on each side of the airflow control ring for a total of 24 that can be opened fully or closed down to just 1 hole for a great true throat hit MTL vape. Turning the airflow control ring closes or opens the holes by 2 vertically, turning further opens or closes the holes by 1. Resistance of the airflow control ring is firm but not to tight, once set it's not coming off your setting until you chose to change it. The supplied drip tips are standard 510 and very comfortable to use, I saw no need to use my own.
As I often encounter in reviews, manufacturers tint their pods so dark that juice viewing is impossible unless held up to a light source, Vandy Vape tinted the pod on the Jackaroo perfectly giving it a nice smoked appearance but leaving it light enough to view your juice level in almost any light setting.
Vandy Vape really put the time in when developing this kit and it shows in so many ways, this is one of the best top fill pods I've ever used. Position of the fill port is dead center on one side and to open simply push up with your thumb and hear the pop of the plug coming out. The plug end sits flush so no accidental opening will happen.
The fill plug can be rotated to either side when filling, The hole opening is large enough for any size bottle tip or dripper. The device is lightweight but strong enough to stand unsupported with a bottle of juice sticking in it. There's so many good things with this kit and I have only reviewed the pod so far.
The device has a smart feature that all devices should have that protect the coil from having too much wattage applied to it rendering it burnt and unusable, It knows the maximum wattage allowed for any compatible coil and won't exceed the maximum wattage for that coil. This is a great feature for new vapers as well as vets, it's happened to all of us, you get distracted and forget or change to a higher Ω coil and forget to adjust the wattage down and burn up a brand new coil, with the smart feature this wont happen.
There are 2 modes to this device and both are wattage only, the 1st is smart mode that I already talked about and the 2nd is RBA mode using the optional RDTA pod and letting you reach 70 watts in this mode. Remember this is a 2000 mAH built in battery so life will be low with lower builds .
The display uses a smoked panel cover that I wish was a bit less smoked for more brightness. Indoors the display is bright enough and vivid as well but you will struggle to see it clearly in bright sunlight.
The display uses 2 colors to distinguish each mode, green is for the smart mode and blue is for the RBA mode. The device will automatically recognize what pod has been attached and use the appropriate color on the display screen.
The display screen has a very nice layout to it with everything you need easily seen with nice sized fonts and numbers, screen layout from top to bottom and left to right.

At the top is your fire button, bottom is a rocker button for plus and minus and type -c charge port at the very bottom of the device.
PROVIDED COILS
VVC-90 0.9Ω MESH COIL
I am very glad that a DL and MTL coil were provided in this kit, I really didn't have high hopes on the VVC 0.9Ω mesh coil when first opening the package without yet trying because very few systems are able to provide a good vape MTL and DL, it's usually one or the other and rarely both.
Because of the honeycombed airflow you can shut it down to only 1 hole if you so desired for a true very tight MTL vape that gives great flavor and provide a very nice throat hit.
This airflow system allows you to tailor the tightness to loose or tight and anywhere in between, I am very impressed how well this pod vapes in MTL mode because I vape both MTL and RDL on a daily basis. Flavor is above average on the 0.9Ω mesh coil. Using the 0.9Ω coil you will easily get a entire day on 1 charge.
VVC-0.3Ω MESH COIL
After running the 0.9Ω mesh through it's paces it was time for the 0.3Ω mesh to be tested. As with the 0.9Ω mesh coil I washed and dried out the pod, primed the coil and let it sit for 10 minutes. As with the fist coil when the pod was attached the device lit up and the wattage was changed to the recommended wattage automatically without changing it from the 0.9Ω coils wattage setting already on the device.
I started at the recommended wattage of 35w and after some adjustment vapes with different wattages found the 35w recommended by the device to be my sweet spot for a very smooth flavorful vape with enough vapor and warmth.
Flavor really pops and that surprised me although it shouldn't because most company's coils have improved a great deal recently.
Impressed is what I feel using the 0.3Ω mesh coil and 0.9Ω mesh coil that performed great and are still going good after many pod fills and that's another big plus for both coils. I averaged about 248 - 254 vapes before needing to recharge using the 0.3Ω coil.

There really is no menu but rather a few button combinations and they are as follows.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS
Well as you could tell I am very impressed and really love everything about the Jackaroo Pod Kit but wish less tinting was used on the display screen, that's the only con that I could find. The 2 coils provided are absolutely fantastic for flavor and they give off plenty of vapor.
I will state that I thought this was going to be another attempt like so many other company's say their device can vape MTL and DL equally well but the Jackaroo can actually do the task and do it very well. Even though it's small compared with it's older brothers it still has that definite Jackaroo look with a ribbed spine.
All in all the Jackaroo Pod Kit exceeded my expectations and proved itself to be a big winner. If your in the market for a device that will deliver a true MTL or DL to RDL vape and has coils that provide great flavor, don't leak and have great life to them look no further, not to mention it's tough as nails IP 67 rating. I wish that the RDTA Pod was in stock at the time this was delivered, I would have liked to test it out as well.

First impressions:
The Zeus Nano atomizer present in this kit is a faithful scaled-down copy of the famous Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank that equips the new Aegis L200 Legend 2.
Zeus Nano is designed for RDL use in full harmony with the device that delivers 50W Max of power. The Coils are both of the new Mesh type.
I particularly appreciated the presence in the package of a 3.5ml Bubble glass to immediately replace the small glass of 2ml capacity (TPD) .
The Mod Z50 is slim and slender, built in sturdy zinc alloy, weighs about 120g has a simple design but with artistic decorations, a nice color display and several functions, in addition to the classic VW mode are present; Bypass, VPC, TC-TCR, TC-SS. Not bad!
Geekvape claims to have been aesthetically inspired by nothing less than the Doric columns of the Acropolis of Athens. The color gold or marble IML coating of the side panels gives a nice bright and energetic look.
Ergonomics:
GeekVape Z50 gives good feedback in the hand thanks to the smooth surface that contrasts nicely with the decorations perceptible to the touch. The Mod is undoubtedly sturdy not too heavy and is easily handled.
Z50 Display and rear:
The dark colored screen extends all along the front of the Z50. At the top is the slightly protruding Fire key, in the center a nice bright and colorful display with indications of; battery level, current mode, power, Ohm, Amper, Volt and Puff counter.
Below we find the adjustment keys "+" and "-" and at the bottom there is a USB-C 5V-2A port for charging.
On the back, the refined similarity with the Doric column of the Parthenon is supported by the new "mythological" logo of Zeus in a central position and by the thin and deep vertical grooves. From bottom to top, the word "Geekvape Z" appears.
Z50 Above and below:
The 510 thread cup contains the floating type gold plated pin and is screwed to the mod via 2 torx screws. The cup have a serial number on the edge.
They can be installed perfectly and without 22 / 23mm atomizers protrusions.
On the bottom of the Z50 there is a curious cap of unidentified soft material, which should "melt" and allow the battery to vent in case of problems.
Always on the bottom there are the disposal logo, the brand (C E) and are indicated; the characteristics of the cell, the place of origin and the manufacture by Geekvape.

Geekvape claims to have been aesthetically inspired by nothing less than the Doric columns of the Acropolis of Athens. The color gold or marble IML coating of the side panels gives a nice bright and energetic look.
Ergonomics:

Below we find the adjustment keys "+" and "-" and at the bottom there is a USB-C 5V-2A port for charging.
On the back, the refined similarity with the Doric column of the Parthenon is supported by the new "mythological" logo of Zeus in a central position and by the thin and deep vertical grooves. From bottom to top, the word "Geekvape Z" appears.

The 510 thread cup contains the floating type gold plated pin and is screwed to the mod via 2 torx screws. The cup have a serial number on the edge.
They can be installed perfectly and without 22 / 23mm atomizers protrusions.
On the bottom of the Z50 there is a curious cap of unidentified soft material, which should "melt" and allow the battery to vent in case of problems.
Always on the bottom there are the disposal logo, the brand (C E) and are indicated; the characteristics of the cell, the place of origin and the manufacture by Geekvape.

I went to a vape shop near me and got a cherry flavouring the brand is supposed to be from my country and it's called atmoslab not that anyone would know just saying and anyway they show the manufacturing date and they say it expires 24months after that sooooo that means it expired in May of 2020 lol
I will get it back to them for sure to replace it but I wanted to ask if anyone knows if those flavourings really expire?
I mean probably they may last more than that? Anyone ever had experience with one that was expired???

Drop 1.5 is atomizer 24mm in diameter. This atomizer comes in really nice package where you will receive coils, cotton and bf pin. Build quality of the atomizer is really good. On the top cap you can see nice details that will help you with airflow adjustment, also on the both sides of the atomizer you can see "Drop".
This atomizer comes with 810 drip tip and you can use here any other 810 drip tip without any problem. Under the drip tip you can see the top cap and on the top cap you can see details that will help you to adjust the airflow. You can also take off the top cap and you can see how airflow is made here. Under top cap you can see the chamber that stays locked in place which will help with airflow adjustment. The chamber stays on two orings and o rings are a bit loose but I belive they will be better, not too loose here anyway. On the chamber you can see 4 slots for airflow and here you can use only bottom airflow slot and by spinning the top cap you will open one hole from each side, when airflow is fully opened you will have 16 holes on each side. As you can see we have here honeycomb airflow and I really like the airflow here. I like airflow options and I really like how smooth airflow is on this atomizer. Also airflow adjsutment is really easy and everyone will find good airflow.
On the base you can see 4 posts for coil leads. In the package you will receive coils and cotton that you can use here. Building and wicking here is really simple and you will have no problems here. All you need to do is to put the coil leads in and clip them easily, on the picture you can see how I placed my coils here. In the package you will also receive the bf pin so you can use this atomizer with squonk mods which is very good.

Dakle kvalitet izrade atomizera je jako dobar, jedino sto su malo o rigovi labavi ali mislim da ce to popraviti. Ovde imate 810 drip tip pa mozete da koristite svoje drip tipove sto je odlicno. Na ovom atomizeru imamo jako lep protok vazduha, imamo dosta kombinacija i vazduh se podesava veoma lako. Vazduh mozete da podesite od veoma restriktivnog do veoma otvorenog, ja licno volim da otvorim po 8 rupica sa svake strane. Vazduh na ovom atomizeru je veoma mekan jer imamo honeycomb protok vazduha. Takodje jako je dobro sto je komora zakljucana pa se vazduh podesi veoma lako. Postavljanje grejaca i vate je veoma jednostavno, a na slici mozete da vidite kako sam ja postavio grejace i vatu. U pakovanju se dobijaju grejaci i vata sto je odlicno ukoliko nemate vase. Aroma je po meni jako dobra, pogotovo kada je vaduh podesen onako kako ja volim, po 8 rupica sa svake strane. Drop 1.5 po meni jedan od boljih dripera, a najvise zbog veoma dobrog protoka vazduha i jednostavnosti koriscenja ovog atomizera.

So build quality here is really good, atomizer is very well made and you can't complain about build quality. O rings are a bit loose and this is only con in my opinion. On this atomizer you can use your 810 drip tips if you don't like this one which is good. Airlfow on this atomizer is really good, we have many airflow options, you can really easy adjust the airflow and you can adjust it from restrictive to very open which is good. Personally i like to use 8 airflow holes on each side. We have honeycomb airflow here which is good because airflow is very smooth. Building and wicking here is simple and I belive you will have no problems, on the picture you can see how I placed coils and cotton here. Flavor is really good, in my opinion way better with 8 holes on each side. Drop 1.5 in my opinion is one of better drippers, mostly because of good flavor, perfect airflow and simplicity of using.

Aegis legend 2 is new and upgraded version of aegis legend mod. Previous version of this device is very well known and popular, now we have new version of this device which is great. This kit contains aegis 2 mod and z sub ohm atomizer. In the package with this kit you will receive spare parts, spare glass tank, two coils and coil tool.
Z sub ohm tank:
This atomizer is 24.5mm in diameter and this atomizer comes with two coils. Build quality of the atomizer is very good as we expect from Geekvape. On the atomizer you can see some details on the top cap and on the base so you can easily unscrew the top cap and the base. On the top cap you can aslo see two engravings "Geekvape z".
This atomizer comes with 810 drip tip which is really nice because here you can use any of your own 810 drip tips if you don't like this one. This is a top fill atomizer and we don't have any threads here, instead we have locking system which is great. When you take off the top cap you can see two fill holes and you can fill it with any bottle. Really like this top fill system and you can fast and easy fill the tank.
This is a top airflow atomizer which many people like because that way atomizer is leakproof which is great. Under the top cap you can see the airflow control ring and if you want you can take off the ring. On the ring you can see two airflow holes and you can really easy adjust the airflow here, what you adjust on one side it will be the same on the other one.
Capacity of the tank is 5.5ml which is good capacity in my opinion with bubble glass tank. With this atomizer you will also receive regular glass tank, but I like to use bubble glass here.
On this atomizer to replace the coil you need to pull it out and for that you will receive a tool in the package. With this atomizer you will receive two coils, z 0.2ohm coil, recommended power for this coil is 70-80w, also you will receive z0.25ohm coil, recommended power for this coil is 45-75w.
Aegis 2:
Aegis 2 is designed similar as previous version, I like that, but this one in my opinion looks way better. This mod is also lighter and smaller than previous version of the mod. Mod is very comfortable for using. Personally I think that this mod is very well made and it looks very nice. This mod is powered with 2 18650 batteries and it work from 5-200w. This mod is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof which is very good. Build quality of the mod is great and there is nothing to complain about.
From the top side of the mod you can see the connection, threads are good and pin is goldplated and springloaded. On this mod you can use atomizers up to 25mm in diameter without overhang. Mod is flat on the top so if you use smaller atomizers it is possible to scratch it from the top.
From the bottom side of the mod you can see the battery cap and this mod is powered by two 18650 batteries. When you put the batteries inside and when you shake the mod there is no any rattling which is good. The battery cap so far works really good and I didn't have any problems, I also have previous version and battery cap is good as first day.
On one side of the mod you can see the lock button and using the button you will lock or unlock the device, I really like this new feature. On the top front side of the mod you can see usb port, on the port you can see the cap which is great. We have usb c here and you can use it if you want to charge your batteries. On the front side of the mod you can see the fire button, screen and plus and minus buttons. Buttons here are good and they work good. Fire button is clicky and comfortable in my opinion. On this device we have color screen and size of the creen is 1.08inch, on the screen you can see everything good and without problems.
You can turn on or turn off the device when you click 5 times on the fire button and when you turn it on on the screen you will see:

When you hold the fire button and plus button or fire button and minus button you will be able to adjust the brightness of the screen. To change the working mode you need to click 3 times on the fire button and you can choose:
