Hello again and welcome back for today's review of the Vinci Pod Kit by Voopoo. This newest addition in the Vinci line is a very simple and easy device, so simple that there isn't even a button on the device that you have to operate. The Vinci Pod uses a auto draw method to inhale and has airflow selection using a cover to tighten down the vape to a very tight MTL vape. I guess some people might be able to vape it in a very tight RDL mode but I feel this is a MTL pod system. Let's get to know the Vinci Pod a little bit prior to the review.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS


Opening the box you are greeted with another box that the Vinci sits in on top of a form fitted cut out, inside that box is your type-c charge cord and user manual. The pod is already installed on the device and has a protective sticker on the contacts to prevent a accidental firing of the device. Voopoo only supplies 1 pod with this kit. Branding is done well with Vinci on one side with Gene barely visible below at the bottom and Voopoo on the other side .


The type-c charge port is located on the bottom of the device and in this case I really don't mind because the Vinci is a very thin device that tips over very easily if a table is bumped, corners are all rounded making it a very comfortable device to hold and operate.



The 2ml pod itself uses 3 small air inlet holes in the bottom center between 2 contacts, remember to pull off the protective sticker after filling the pod and letting it sit for 5 or ten minutes to saturate the coil inside the pod. The coil inside the pod is 0.8Ω.



The Vinci really has a nice auto draw to it and uses a slider to open or close the airflow selector, in the above picture the slider is just barely open. The picture below shows the slider fully open and as you can see this is more for MTL vaping.



This is not the only airflow inlet though, on the other side is a very tiny pinhole that is also a airflow inlet hole. The Vinci can be really tightened up for people that enjoy a very tight MTL vape, just using the pinhole with the slider closed is even tighter than a cigarette draw.


Inside the device where the pod clips in is where the auto draw control nozzle is, centered between the 2 contacts that connect to the pod. This is a very good auto draw system.




Unfortunately when the coils lifespan is over you can't just change the coil , you must change the entire pod. Side fill is the filling method with a very large fillport that is mess free.



On the side that has the Vinci name on it there is also Gene at the bottom, it's hard to see because it doesn't stand out until you vape the device, install the pod or are charging it, the Gene logo will light up. Voopoo uses a series of lights to tell you the percentage of battery strength that the device is at.

And when it turns red it's time to begin charging the device. The Vinci charges at 5v 1amp and takes about 1 hr and 20 min to fully charge. When charging the Gene indicator will light breathing on and off at whatever battery percentage it's at and turn a solid green when fully charged.

Using the Vinci has been so nice because the auto draw works as well as it does and the flavor is above average with this pod. Your not going to fog up a room but vapor production is fine, remember this is mainly a MTL device.

When you talk about simplicity the Vinci is it ( no buttons, on/off switch or even a display ) because none of them are needed with the Vinci's constant 15 watt output.

One thing that has improved while using is the airflow slider, when I first started using it the slider was tight making precise adjustments tough but once there all was good and the slider stayed where I put it. Airflow is smooth in any position with no whistle or funny sounds heard. I think that Voopoo did a great job with the Vinci Pod Kit and I will continue to use it.

So originally I was way too confused to even attempt to get one of these clones. And then one showed up on the classified and I missed out on it through my own fault and now I'm interested again. From what I see on FastTech there between $10 and $20 and while of course I would prefer that it actually get here It's not the end of the world if it doesn't at that price point. But I don't have the first clue on how to decipher what's what in the world of those things. I don't like really restricted mtl I like more of a restricted direct lung and options going both tighter and looser than that would be fabulous. If anyone who really likes those things and has tried a few of them could help me figure out which one's appropriate that would be great.a glass tank would be fabulous but the lemonade e-juice that is my all-day vape has never cracked a plastic tank and I use it with them all the time. The one with the little ledges the facelift version looks really nice I like that deck the best but I only see that with the mouth too long I think and then you can't get the top tank I'm just all around completely flummoxed

Does anyone have a decent one for sale?

As the title says, I’ve been vaping since 2012 (you know, the vape pens). Big fan of AIO, always up for the latest & most compact models.

My preferred nicotine level is 3mg, all time favourite flavour is Apple, favourite e-juice is Pachamama’s “Fuji Apple Strawberry Nectarine”, Crème De La Crème’s “Caramel Apple” & Glas’ BSX Series “Caribbean Punch” + “Butterscotch Reserve”.

Never a fan of ice based juice, I’m a lazy c*nt, never wind any coils. Currently using Lost Vape URSA Quest & Vaporesso SWAG PX80.

I’m a YouTube subscriber of “Matt from SMM (previously: Suck My Mod)” & “Mike Vapes”.

I'm selling actually giving away basically two full size 2.x Provari's. I don't know if they are version 2.0 of 2.5. They both work the purple has red screen and the pink's is blue. They both have some chips out of the finish and there are no end caps to use these with 18490/18500 batteries.

ps: these were given to me by an ex-ECFer who gave up vaping along with the rest of her 'stuff'. The stipulation was I pass her collection along to people who needed / wanted her vape gear at no profit to me, if I didn't keep it.

I've been doing that for the last year, and this is the last of her mods. So if you knew '0mg', a very nice lady, thank her, not me. So I'm just trying to recover postage, because I've not found anyone locally to pass them off to.

So I bought an Ares-2. My first RTA. I am strictly MTL -former smoker. It's powered by a geekvape Agis solo.

It came with a couple of premade coils and I find them ok. The package says they are 1ohm.

I need help with a couple of things.

****I don't know what wire to buy. As in size. I think I want SS316. I also bought a magic stick for coiling.
****I would PREFER to have a low watt, low juice consumption system.
I was using a Joyetech AIO with a .6 ohm atomizer. I LIKED THIS VERY MUCH.

It was a juice miser and had a good hit. I also use an 80% PG juice.

*****The 1 ohm coil is almost good enough between 12 and 15 watts, but it's sucking juice really fast. It also seems to produce more vapor. I don't care about more vapor -at all. In fact, I'd rather have less.

I'd like to recreate that in this RTA.
Any help toward this goal would be appreciated.

I have surgery coming up in 1 week and have to pass a urine cotinine. I went to 0mg nicotine 4 weeks ago and still am testing positive with the home urine tests. I have tested the ejuice and it is negative. My BMI is normal, Been drink a gallon of water a day for about 1 week, exercising and drinking detox tea. A new member came in to announce that he had created a server on Discord, as a way to help new vapers. Being of a younger generation, he probably wasn't aware of ECFs long lived and vast legacy. That ECF was, and still is, an amazing resource, and practically the only resource for new vapers for quite awhile.

Another member brought up the fact that ECF once had a live chat. This was before my time here, so I'm not aware of how it went or why it ended, whether there were too many problems or it died a lingering death. I am hoping someone will chime in and talk about the ecf live chat.

Which brings me to the question...why couldn't a live chat be restarted on ecf now? Would it be that technically difficult? Would it consume too much bandwidth? Wouldn't it be interesting to sit in live chat and watch the flow of conversation from people you know and those you don't on busier evenings? Wouldn't there be enough technically qualified volunteer moderators available in case things got a little rowdy? Could it possibly attract some of the newer generation, to whom the typewritten forum model might seem a little dated. I see daily where the number of members online is 30 or so, 50 at busier times....which is sad. Are we that set in our ways that we couldn't try something new? The cannabis forum attracted an outcry, but in the end the forum didn't fall apart. I think a discussion of this question would be in order. And well, why not? Why not give it a go again??

And another point. I think it would be a great spirit-lifter/diversion to a very large group of vapers who have just had the rug pulled out from under them.

I thought it would be interesting to read a comprehensive, concise history of vaping. I feel there are a lot of interesting stories that are at risk of being lost over time.

I am curious, what types of things do you think belong in a vaping history book? Chapters, stories, interviews from specific people? That sort of thing. And should the book be from an individual author, or a different author per chapter, or a community contribution?
