Pizza Dave Delivers - An AIO Review - The CyberX by Cybervape

______________________________________________________________________________

INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone, Pizza Dave here, delivering you a review of the CyberX AIO by Cybervape. This is a new company to hit the market. They are big into the Cyber Punk theme and it really shows with this device. This device comes in 4 different colors, has 3ml capacity, has mesh and round wire replaceable coils, and has an 800mah internal battery. Along with these features we are used to seeing, this also has a small display showing battery level, atomizer resistance, lock/unlock, and adjustable output. It has quite bit packed into a small device, so let’s get right to it eh?

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Awesome packaging. It grabs the eye and has everything laid out really well. Every time I see nice packaging, I get the feeling that the company is passionate about what they have created. The manual, while rather generic is well done and this was unexpected from a new company. I am used to seeing manuals with poor writing, especially from small/new companies, but not with this one. I love most of all that the extras weren’t just jammed into a box I have to pour out to see what is there. The device also doesn’t disappoint. I am down with their design and love the futuristic, yet simplistic designs of each. The exterior of the device is coated with a rubberized finish, which feels nice but is not too sticky. I have the modest gunmetal and black, but also the louder purple/orange combo. Both look great and give off a vibe that these were sent back in time to me. We all know that looks don’t mean jack though, so let’s discuss the details.

______________________________________________________________________________

OPERATION

The Cyber X is a relatively simple device to operate, but it also has a lot of features for a pod system. The small display makes operation much easier, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out. 5 clicks of the fire button turn the device on and off, three clicks of the fire button select the mode, and pressing the up and down buttons together will lock the adjustments, but it will still vape. The settings of the device are as follows.

  • Wattage – from 5 to 30w
  • Variable Voltage – from 1 to 6v
  • Temp control – from 200 to 600 degrees

Along with showing the settings of the device, the display shows a 4-bar battery display, resistance of the coil, and faults, should they occur. It is simple to use but has nice features. The screen is a little dark, so it is a little tough to see in direct sunlight, but I am fond of having the screen none the less.

______________________________________________________________________________

PODS

The pods on this device have a 3ml capacity and have replaceable coils. That being said, I kind of way to classify it has an AIO. Some of these pods are tinted colors, but the black/gunmetal version has just a dark tinted pod. The colored pods are lighter and make seeing the level a little easier for sure, so I liked them a bit more. To refill the pods, there is a small plug on the side the pull up (in photo gallery). The opening is large, so refilling was not a messy occasion. The coils are unscrewed out the bottom just like we have seen on devices such as the Pal II series of devices. The coils even look similar to something like in that device, but I am unsure just yet if other brands are compatible. Also similar to these other devices, air flow is adjusted via a locking AFC at the base of the coil. Air enters through a channel on the side and right into the air flow inlet of the coil base.

Speaking of airflow, these offer a wide variety of MTL applications. With the mesh, it is more of a loose MTL draw, while the round-wire parallel coil is choked off a little more and that is without taking into consideration the AFC. Once closed down, the air reduces some, but it doesn’t get SUPER restricted like some others. This is a middle of the road MTL draw in my opinion. If I am going to rate it against the Orion Plus with a mesh coil, the round wire wide open is like the Orion with airflow 1/3 closed, and the mesh is close to the Orion fully open.

HOW IT VAPES / FINAL THOUGHTS

Ok, so it has some nice features, but how does it vape? Well, for a new company they really nailed it. The performance I get from this is great. In wattage mode, it functions well, offering excellent flavor from both coils and with enough battery to last me all day. Also, when the battery does need charging, this charges up super quick thanks to USB-C charging (less than 1-hour charge). Variable Voltage mode is something I don’t dabble in much, so I didn’t dabble here. Temp control was something that intrigued me a bit. I don’t think it “really” works, with all temperatures feeling similar in warmth and I never noticed a large taper in output. I vaped the heck out of it in both wattage and temp control modes and never got burnt hits, so it’s hard to say. The mesh is SS and the round-wire are kanthal. The mesh works great in SS and it bumps the warmth of the vape up similar to if I ran it at about 27-28w or so, and it never burned so maybe it is doing something. Putting it in temp control with the round wire leads to an instant burnt it, firing very hot (rip lungs). I never experienced any leaking with the coils, but I did get a gurgle or two at times. This happened if it sat for a while or when I had the wattage on the lowest of the recommended settings. Other than that, I have NO complaints with their coils. I am going on 18mL on the mesh coil and 12mL on the round-wire and they taste just as good as they did when they were new. With all of the good things, comes a couple of minor cons that I must point out. One, the darker tinted pods make viewing level really tough, especially when viewing through the window. If I pop the door, I could tell where it was at, but still tough. This wasn’t an issue with the blue tinted pod. Another con is the display brightness. Hidden behind a tough textured plastic makes it tough to see in direct sunlight, but no problem indoors. The last con could be coil availability as I don’t know what other brands may fit. I am going to try and find some at a local shop and will report back if I find one. One might find a con in the feel of the devices weight. It feels pretty cheap and appears to be a plastic body with all weight being the board and battery. Lastly, not really a con, but there is an LED on the side of the device that serves no real purpose from what I can tell. All in all, if you like the styling of this device, just get it. I am growing very fond of this device and with the samples in front of me, I have very little to gripe about.

______________________________________________________________________________

THE OVEN TEST

If this one accidentally went into the pizza oven, would I go out and buy another? I definitely will. These, right now, are ranked in the upper tier of pod systems this year.

______________________________________________________________________________

PROS

  • Great flavor
  • Lots of features
  • Small size
  • Not a bad price point
  • 3mL capacity
  • Display w/ settings, battery indication, and resistance

______________________________________________________________________________

CONS

  • Dark tinted pod doesn’t help with viewing level
  • Screen isn’t very bright
  • Unsure of coil compatibility (will do my best to find compatible coils)
  • Body feels like it is plastic so while lightweight, feels cheap

______________________________________________________________________________

Thank you all for reading this review and thank you to Cybervape for review. I am only seeing this listed on their site for now, and it sells for $39.99 and a 5-pack of coils goes for $15.99.

REVIEW CRITERIA: I use each item for about two weeks to ensure I have collected enough data to adequately write a review. I use the same e liquid in tanks or rdas throughout all my reviews to ensure that I am comparing apples to apples between all modern equipment. I do not post reviews until I feel confident that I have used it enough to give an educated review. The reason I started doing reviews was due to poor purchasing decisions in my vaping infancy about two years ago. Back then, I purchased several different pieces of hardware without really enjoying it and I hope my reviews can guide people into spending their hard-earned money more wisely than I did! ****Keep in mind that some items I receive may be pre-release and not in retail packaging. Quality may be less than the finished product and what is in the package may differ from the retail package as well.

Battery load

Not sure this is the proper forum for this question but...

I have a pair of Sony VTC4' which are rated at 30A cdr. But mooch rates them at 23A. I have a pair of alians and am pushing 160w and there's still a pretty slow ramp-up time. 160w in my dual cell mod pulls 25.8A cdr. Is this safe? Can I go higher with these cells?

Coil sets

I posted this a couple hours ago in possibly the wrong forum, but I cant seem to find the post. I apologise if this is a duplicate.

I'm looking for a decent set of a variety of premade coils. I see some with like 90 plus pieces for like $10. There can't be much quality there. Do any of you have a suggestion for a decent pack of verioty coils? I'm not sure what I'm gonna like because I'm just returning to RBA's and things have changed a lot. I got the maxvape kanthol set. I didn't like the Juggernauts, I ruined the Interlock alians trying to install them. I'm using a pair of alians now, but my batteries aren't rated for the wattage needed so there's a quit slow ramp up time... Side note, I thought the Sony vtc4's were 30a, but mooch rated them at 23a so have my mod at 160w which require 25.8a and the ramp up is still pretty slow. Thank for reading.

ULTRONER EOS II 180W TC Box Mod - More Wood

Hi ECF members, In this review i take a look at the EOS II 180W TC Box Mod from Ultroner. The EOS II 180W TC Box Mod was supplied for the purpose of this review by Linky from Sacowin who are the marketing company for Cool Vapor, DJV, SXK and Ultroner .

EOS II – SAC

Introduction

The EOS II is one of the last projects between Ultroner and Asmodus and brings together 2 things i particularly like. I love Ultroner designed and manufactured Products as they actually produce products with high quality stabwood finishes that i can afford. I also love Asmodus touchscreen devices so here we have the best of both worlds for me, an Ultroner Stabwood mod powered by the Asmodus GX-180UTC chipset featuring an IPS colour Capacitive touchscreen. This gorgeous lightweight device accommodates dual 18650 batteries giving 180W max power and is full of all the bells and whistles features we tend to get from an Asmodus chipset, so let's give it a look!

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The EOS II came in the usual flip open sturdy cardboard box with viewing window that most Ultroner Devices are packaged. Due to the nature of stabwood all devices are unique but you do have the choice of Black, Blue, Green or Purple as the most prominent colour but as i found out this is no guarantee as the one i received is labelled Blue yet it has a lot of Green, Purple and of course Brown of the Wood but barely any Blue, after saying that no complaints as the device looks gorgeous.
The EOS II has a stabwood body comprising of both sides and the very ergonomic curved spine on a Black Aluminium frame which makes the device light so it's a dual battery device that's portable and suited for out and about.
The Stabwood doesn't have the most polished finish, in fact it's quite rustic which might add to it's charm for some people but if you do wish to work on it to get a more polished finish then emery boards are included to aid you.
The face of the device is recessed again to help ergonomically and has a large domed round fire button top, micro USB port bottom and the colour touchscreen between. The base is heavy on the printed branding and also display's safety stamps while moving to the top of the device we have more printed branding to one side. The opposite side to the branding we have the 510 plate with Gold plated, spring loaded 510.
The build quality is excellent with no gaps at all between the stabwood and frame, a really good job has been done!

___________________________________________________________________

Fitting The Batteries

The EOS II accommodates dual 18650 batteries which are installed via the latch door on the base of the device. I like these type of doors over those just relying on a small piece of metal or plastic not failing.
The door needs sliding forwards before lifting up and once the batteries are installed press the door down firmly before sliding secure. The door does need pressing down with some force to allow it to slide secure but i don't mind this as it means no battery movement or rattle whatsoever and once shut the doors going nowhere.
Finally as normally it would be something i moan about we have battery orientation very clearly marked White on Black which is good to see, cracking job!

___________________________________________________________________

The Display

The EOS II has a colour screen which is sharp, bright and very well laid out and i had no issues at all reading the display outdoors. At the top we have the mode then underneath the mode we have 2 battery status bars (1 for each battery) the status is also given as a percentage above each bar. Below the battery status bars we have the wattage that displays temperature instead when in temp control.
Further down to the left we have the volts then under this seconds vaped, to the right we have the resistance then underneath the resistance is your puffs. Finally at the bottom of the display to the left is the preheat or temperature control wire type when in temperature control, bottom right we have a padlock which indicates if the touchscreen is locked or unlocked.

___________________________________________________________________

Navigating The EOS II

Those that have used Asmodus touchscreen mods in the past will be familiar with how the device operates but if not it does take some getting use to. Some people just won't get on with touchscreen devices while others like me like them and once a bit of time is invested in how everything works i find Asmodus mods are amongst my favourites to use and navigate.
The device is 5 clicks to turn on but to turn off needs to be done in the settings. With the device first switched on the touchscreen is locked (when it's locked you can still vape) and to unlock simply swipe downwards and it stays unlocked until the fire button is pressed which re-locks it. With the screen unlocked swiping up or down changes your pre-heats between Normal, Soft or hard and swiping side-wards where the mode is displayed scrolls through the various modes which are Power, TFR, TCR, Curve and Temp.
When it displays temp long pressing "TEMP" brings up where you change between the various wire types and pressing the displayed temperature changes to wattage and then another press displays temperature again, a long press when the temperature is displayed allows you to adjust the temperature and when you change it to wattage displayed long pressing allows you to set wattage for temp control (you can only set wattage up to 120W for temp control).
Going back to Power mode and again long pressing the wattage allows you to adjust the wattage which adjust in 0.1w increments from 5w right up to 100W before switching to 1W increments the rest of the way to 180W. The scrolling isn't the quickest and a little confused why it's 0.1W increments right up to 100W before switching to 1W increments up to the maximum wattage as most Asmodus powered mods switch to 1W increments once past what would be considered MTL wattage making getting from a low to mid or high wattage setting much quicker.
There are plenty of other features that are accessed by 5 clicks of the fire button which brings up your first icon which is the power icon, long pressing the power icon powers the device down. When the power icon is displayed side swiping scrolls through the various icons which need pressing if you want to select the feature. Amongst the features are adjusting brightness, changing how the touchscreen locks and unlocks, resetting and limiting puffs, adjusting screen timeout settings and many others. Finally 3 clicks of the fire button locks the whole device so it will not fire.

___________________________________________________________________

How It Vapes and Thoughts!

The first thing to say is i do not use equipment to get data so simply review devices as i experience them so when it comes to accuracies i am relying on gut feeling and comparisons.
I will start with any issues which are mainly subjective the first being touchscreens aren't to everyone's liking but personally i find the Asmodus touchscreens excellent both from a user interface point of view and response, they work very well and are user friendly along with the operation of the device after saying that if you haven't used one before there is a learning curve. Next some would much prefer a more polished look to the stabwood which is entirely subjective and although emery boards are included you will have to be careful not to scuff the frame if you decide to work on the wood. Finally the only issue i had which isn't subjective is it scrolls in 0.1W increments and isn't the fastest, because i was constantly changing atty's at times during testing i found if going from a MTL atty to a much higher DL atty adjusting wattage took far too much time than i would like.
I am not a big TC user and unless using Replay on a DNA device tend to stick to power modes but i did have a little play and although if you are a TC user i would read or watch other reviews that deal more in depth with TC i found when testing dry burning protection it worked fine and prior to that i was getting a smooth vape.
I used the device with various atty's from 12W up to 90W and all wattage's i vaped at seemed accurate although for the main as i was also in the progress of testing out a few MTL atty's i mainly used it at low wattage's. It fires instantly with immediate ramp up (very much like the Minikin 2) and the fire button is both easy to find and very clicky. It was also very noticeable how efficient the device is giving really good battery life, well over the average i would expect from dual 18650's.
The menu works well and all the features worked as they should, i particularly like the curves feature with Asmodus chipsets and no difference with the EOS II. The device supports 2A balanced on-board charging although i wouldn't personally recommend charging in the device, it is also fully firmware upgradeable (their is a firmware upgrade to change to a monochrome display if that's your preference). Finally the EOS II will accommodate up to a 26mm atty without any overhang so the vast majority of atty's will look good up top.

Vape juice leaking in shipment

Last week, I ordered a 60ml bottle of vape juice from an online retailer. When it was delivered, I opened the shipping bag to find that some of the juice had leaked out into the bag. A day or two later, I ordered the same vape juice- Naked 100 Hawaiian Pog- from another online retailer, and this time, although I also ordered a 30ml bottle that comes in a box, the 60ml bottle was tightly wrapped separately with bubble wrap. When I removed the bubble wrap, I found that it was leaking too. Is this common? As far as I can tell, Naked 100 uses the same kind of bottles as other companies. Is the juice safe to use?

Is it safe to use e-liquids for other purposes?

Hi all,

I've only started vaping recently and have started to do DIYs for my e-liquid as well. I was wondering that because i really like the smell of the e-liquids, would it be ok if it was used for other purposes such as a car freshener?
As im assuming the liquid will evaporate over time when i use the AC of the car and wondered if it was safe to inhale it.

I either plan to buy an empty air freshener then put e-liquid there and stick that on the air vents of the car or use will a small ziplock bag with small holes and cotton to absorb the liquid and hopefully release the eliquid over time when i turn on the AC.

*side note, i wont be using any liquid with nicotine if that helps.

Many Thanks

Greetings to you all!

Greetings all! I’m new to the group and just wanted to introduce myself. I’ve been a YouTube vape reviewer for five iiyears, have owned an online vape shop and worked with and for many brands over the years. These days I don’t do much promo work since my son was born. But I DO wish to get into modding, specifically tube mech mods. I have a workshop with a lathe and milling machine, also access to materials so I’ll be hitting up the modder group soon!

I filled a pod with Candy King on salt BLUE RAZZ bubblegum collection. 35 MG 30 ML bottle. I Tried my best to keep it full or 2/3 full today my VOOPOO Drag Nano taste horrible. What have I been doing wrong? That pod I believe is a goner.

Closed/Sold Dovpo Topside with Dead Rabbit RDA SQ and Berserker MTL RDA V2

This is a great setup for someone who is interested in squonking. The Dovpo Topside features a top fill design, and has a VW mode, bypass mode, and optional temp control, although you have to download updated firmware. Takes single 18650,20700, or 21700 battery.

The mod is in Like New condition. No scratches. There is one squonk bottle included, the other that came with the Dovpo broke while cleaning. Replacement squonk bottles retail for around $11 online.

The Dead Rabbit is also in Like New condition. It is a versatile atomizer with a very simple single coil build deck. Ideal for squonking. There is an included squonk pin, but also a regular pin if you want to use this as a dripper instead. There is air flow control for DTL, but also some MTL options too, with narrower drip tips included if you go that route. If you want a tight MTL experience, I find closing the air flow control all the way actually works well. But where this really shines is as a flavorful DTL experience.

The Berserker MTL RDA V2 is another great atomizer for squonking, although this is more tailored for MTL. The design is a lot simpler than the MTL RDA V1. This is also in Like New condition. I personally am not a fan of it because it’s harder to use it as a dripper, because you can only fill from the drip tip. But if you are squonking, this is not an issue, because you’re filling from the bottom.

I am including a roll of Authentic Vandy Vape 316L Stainless Steel Superfine MTL Fused Clapton Heating Wire 30*2/38 AWG / 0.25mm*2/0.1mm dia. / 2.37ohm/ft / 10ft. Although I’ve probably used a good foot from the roll, so let’s call it about 9ft.

Original case included for Topside, Dead Rabbit, and Berserker V2 with some drip tip options.

Dovpo Topside purchased on VaporDNA for $74.99 on 5/22/19, not including shipping.

Dead Rabbit purchased on VapeWild on 9/16/19 for $19, not including shipping.

Berskerker MTL RDA V2 was purchased on 10/20 for $25 from Fasttech

I am selling the lot for $60 even, with free shipping to contiguous US.

I am accepting PayPal payment. US only please.

On Precision

First, a little puzzle:

Two chefs are trying to replicate a recipe, one of the chefs follows the recipe to the T, weighing and measuring everything, the other chef uses the guesstimation method, a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

Question: Which chef will present the best dish?
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Answer: The most experienced chef.

This puzzle is important as it demonstrates what happens with liquids mixing and the importance of precision when mixing a recipe.

I am a precision fanatic but over time i came to realize that even though a certain level of precision is important when replicating a recipe, precision becomes a hindrance when creating one.

Let me explain. The creation of new recipes is an art form not a science, it's strictly connected to the experience of the mixer and the knowledge of the ingredients available. A new recipe has to respect a lot of parameters, and all of them are completely subjective, like, balance, aroma, flavor, texture, mouthfeel, harshness, temperature, palate lingering, etc.

With these parameters how can you quantify/automate a new recipe? you can't, only someone with a lot of experience can achieve a new good flavor, just like our chefs, they can follow religiously a recipe if it thinks is good, or adjust it on the fly if it feels it lacks something.

I'm making this post because i have a dilemma in the calculator, and this is a way of putting the problem into perspective precisely this new recipe creation problem (right now is stiff and banal). I would like if experienced mixers could shed some light on this subject, on how do they mix, what's the process they follow so we can all learn and grow from them.

Thank you,
jusu.

Hello from a new father

Hey everyone in ECF forum, it's cool to know you here. My name is Gavin, with more than 10 years' smoking history. Fortunately I switched to vaping since last year when I just have a baby and had to consider about family health and something like that, thanks to myBlu, the first device that I experienced which I bought occasionally in united states.

During the past months, I collected & tried many of the hot devices(open pod systems) like Aspire, Vaporesso...
the truth is... I've fallen in love with vaping, because it let me feel much better when wake up every morning, you the ex-smokers must know what I'm saying :p
Hope we can discuss about more interesting topics!

  • Use up and down to adjust settings in the sub menu of each mode.
  • Hold fire to accept the mode and its settings.
  • Fire + up or down to adjust screen brightness.
  • Up + down to lock adjustment buttons but the mod can still be fired.

Aegis X Mod:

Pretty sure I wasn’t this excited with any kit I have reviewed so far, the Aegis X was on my mind since the first time I’ve read and seen it.

It is nicely packed and when opening the box, the Aegis X mod straight away shows its specialty, the massive 2.4inch screen pops right out of the box, didn’t expect it to be this large in real. The screen is very sharp and bright.

Big screens do have bigger troubles, the screen is made from plastic which means it easily scratches like we know from other aegis mods. Nice touch from geekvape they included an additional plastic screen cover, but it would be great if Geekvape would also release proper glass protectors next to the plastic covers.

For me the screen is a bit on the massive side though, I am a simple guy that just needs the information from the device, this screen does not show more information than the other aegis mods really, of course navigating the menu is simpler.

The grip and design of this mod makes it a comfortable grip, with the leather texture and silicone build it just fits and holds very well in the hand. The screen is not really having a negative impact on the grip. Also, the mod is not that heavy for a dual battery mod.

The battery door on the bottom opens and closes easily, I do have a feeling however this could be one of the weaknesses of the design, would have to see in the coming months, but I think the battery door can be easily damaged if one is not careful.

There is plenty of settings available - screen appearance and colour, 4 profiles, preheat, VPC and bypass mode, along with the normal wattage and TC

Switching through different mods and settings on the device is simple and the big screen makes it super over viewable. Nice additional feature is that in the menu you can choose between 3 different designs which again have 5 different color options each.

screen-designs.jpg

The mod itself just works as well as the other Aegis mods, it has all the features you’d expect from a mod, I myself did not use it in temperature control as I didn’t have any coils on stock that can manage TC.

It has 3 power options, soft, standard and powerful. In my opinion it does not make such a big difference, basically what is does is the following; when in soft the wattage will start around 10% lower than the setting of the mod, but after 1 second or so it will be at the level as set on the device. Standard just starts off at the selected wattage and powerful will in the first second kick off around 10% higher than its setting and then go back in wattage as set on the device.

Looking at the user manual (see below) I couldn’t figure out what ‘AAB’ and ‘Auto’ are standing for in the menu, Geekvape should have included this. Anyways, AAB is balanced battery drainage even when using 2 different capacity batteries. Auto I wasn’t able to find a clear answer, but I’ve read on the internet it allows the mod to define the perfect wattage level for your coil.

The fire button is the best I’ve used so far, the shape and quite deep click make it a very nice fire-button. Same counts for the menu buttons, but they are smaller.

I couldn’t resist to put this mod to the test and put it in a jar of water for 5 minutes to see if it really is that waterproof, and the answer is yes, it did survive the test very well. Not the kind of person though to smash it against a wall and get a car to drive over it, but from video’s I’ve seen on the internet it will survive hard smashes and car tires.

jar-water.jpg

One thing I was worried about with this mod and its large screen is the battery cycle I would get out of it with this screen, so I also put that to the test with the mod itself. I did one full cycle with the screen on with a 100% brightness and one full cycle in stealth mod (screen off), during both cycles I was using the exact same coils, batteries (2x VTC5A), juice and wattage level (70W). My puffs in average are between 3.5s-4s

The results:
Screen on 100% brightness – 175 puffs
Stealth mode – 196 puffs

So, in stealth mod it does allow more puffs before the batteries are fully drained, unfortunately every time the device is turned off and back on the stealth mod needs to be activated.

With 2X LG-HG2's (3000mAh each) I got 222 puffs with the exact same settings as mentioned earlier and with the screen on at 100% brightness. Point being, if you are not planning to vape much higher than 90-100 watts, the LG-HG2's are a good choice.

Still 175 puffs is not bad for 70 watts, gets me through more than a full day.

The Cerberus:

Like the vape and flavor on this tank, it gives nice dense and big clouds. It is not the best subohm tank that I’ve tried so far, but it does the job well.

Tank.jpg

The coils included are the Super Mesh X1 mesh coils rated between 30-90 watts (best 60-80 watts), these coils are nice and have a proper longevity, got over a week out of the first coil. They wick well even while chain vaping and their performance is constant, not much flavor drop throughout the whole period. For me the coil performed the best around 70 watts.

However, for me it is a pity that in the kit you get 2 the same coils, it would have been nice if they included the MX2 coil as well.

It is easy to fully take the tank apart for cleaning and coil replacement.

tank-apart.jpg

The airflow is very easily adjustable because of the design of the ring with its straight corners. Also, it is not a very loud airflow, it sounds smooth.

Like the way on how to fill the tank, the top-locking mechanism is opening and closing very well, and the fill holes are quite big.

fill-port.jpg

The drip-tip is the most comfortable I have ever had on a kit tank, not even sure why as the material and looks are very similar to my other drip-tips, it just feels good on the lips. Maybe it has something to do with fact that the 810 connection is sticking out from the top cap a little and therefor feels like a longer drip-tip.

Cerberus has passed my leaking tests. I test most of my tanks in the same way, I fill them all the way and then leave them first up side down overnight and next on its side with the airflow wide open. The Cerberus did not leak at all.

Final Thoughts:

Love pretty much everything about the Aegis X mod, it’s a beautiful mod that is a great addition to the already very highly appreciated Aegis series. With its rugged build and water, dust and shock resistance it’s a mod that will last for a long time. It lays very comfortably in the hands no matter if the screen faces the hand palm or not.

Wish they would have included a different tank in the kit, something newer, more powerful and flavorful. Still the Cerberus is a proper subohm tank for those that are just starting off with DTL vaping, easy to maintain and take apart. But a rebuilder’s edition of the kit with the Zeus X would have been cool.

I would highly recommend this mod for those that are looking for a proper dual battery mod, with its rugged design and resistance to water, shock and dust you cant go wrong.

The screen is nice and bright and because of its size navigating through the device is simpler then on the tinier Aegis screens, it does however have influence on the battery life, not very much, but it does.

For those who are interested in this kit, it is available for 96$ on the official Geekvape website:
Geekvape Aegis X Zeus Kit 200W Geek Vape Online Store

In case you don’t need the Cerberus tank, the mod also sells separately for around 75$.
