We have a yard FULL of hickory nuts ... guess our squirrels are lazy little buggers
I had one once that if I forgot his nuts he would slam his body up against the front window to remind me!

Yep true story I see them every morning and evening running off with walnuts but if I put out peanuts they don't mess with them,but they love dry corn on the cob and it's funny to watch

I have seen little birds pick up the pieces the squirrels drop,all you need is a board with a drywall screw through it ( with the point ground down so you don't stick yourself )just screw then on there and put it where you can watch
