When we got finished at the doc's, we headed for the beach and had a wonderful time and beautiful weather. We drove Dad's Impala just to run it. When we got back, his friend gave him a whole bunch of produce. Purple hull peas, lima beans, and a whole box of tomatoes. We were canning for several days, but boy does it feel good to know they are there for the winter.
As if I don't have enough vehicles that need to be sold, I went out and test drove a couple of cars. I think I may be late on my midlife crisis. I am looking at convertibles. They are cool, but I think it would get old. The one I looked at today was way too small for Perry and a little confined for me. It was so pretty, though. I am in the process of trying to talk myself out of that and believe I will be successful.
It has cooled off, and we finally had a tiny bit of rain. Got both yards taken care of, and pretty soon we will have to be mowing leaves. Love this time of year, but hate dead leaves everywhere. No one on the other side of the street gets theirs up, and the wind always seems to blow them my way. I know it is going to be a lot worse since I took down the fence that blocked most of them.
