Good morning, everyone. I got busy yesterday afternoon: soccer practice for my daughter and then a two-hour drive (that under normal circumstances takes 20 minutes--but a series of traffic accidents snarled all of the freeways) to whisk my daughter to her ballet rehearsal. Finished up at a farewell party for my former boss: it was good to see her and a lot of people with whom I worked.

12/2 - 3: Was a pretty good day, and finally done with the dirt work; good thing ankles were starting to kill me. Went to a house and the owners, super and supervisor are very nice, after we were done the supervisor asked if we were going to lunch. When we said yes, he said his treat and took us to a burger joint I have never been to so cool....
Made it back to the office at the end of the day and there was a new sheet on the wall. The caption said "The inspector said our warning was not clear, so my son made a new sign." The picture is of a large main panel with the usual "Warning High Voltage!" the part they added below. "This will kill you, and it will hurt a lot the whole time you are dying." Electrical humor....

12/2 - 4: Well lets find out which forecast is right. One says 7-9 inches of snow tomorrow, another says nothing tomorrow and 19 inches on Wednesday. Sure hope it is not Wednesday, that would sure mess up a W week, likely three days off as there is not enough equipment here to handle it in the hot state of Texas........ Except way up here in the north part that does in fact get cold and at times can get a good snow. Tree lost all its leaves yesterday, thinking of just making a giant pile of them for the neighbors kids.

Busy day at the office. Did grocery shopping after. Prepped some meat for cooking this weekend - need to do lots of cooking as supply is low. Got laundry going.
