The 510 is plenty capable for what I will use it for - checking resistance, building on and Cueing up coils. I prolly wont use it to remove difficult atty caps. I got mods for that.
I agree about not using it to remove atty caps. I think it is nice that you can fire it without having to switch it to a mod.

Thump looks cool what's the verdict Tom?

I will give my take on it tomorrow when mine arrives :headbang: I'll prolly drop a vid on it late tomorrow night or Saturday am it'll be up barring unforeseens. It looks bad ayuss IMO. Top air derringeresque with dual positive capture and higher quality? How can one go wrong I say :)

As to the Thump:
Personally I never liked the Derringer but I know a lot of you do so my opinion is insignificant however I like the Thump so far. I get a similar vape as the derringer without the spitting and without leakage. This is 80% Derringer, 10% Rogue, 10% stumpy. I'm sure with the right build this could get pretty close to the Manta. The afc is tough to turn much like the stumpy but I prefer it that way. Removing the top cap is slightly harder than average but easier than the Veritas, Manta, and Stumpy. Similar to the Derringer 1.1 (not the 1.2 where the cap would fall off if you looked at it the wrong way. Another note: the way it's converted you can squeeze the bottle (10-12ml) and fill the entire atty and as long as you release the bottle with the atty close to level 90% will suck right back, with it being top air and leakage be less of an issue I have drilled the vents (horizontal squonk holes) high enough to leave 1-1.5mm of juice on the deck for more of a swampy vape like I enjoy. I went with a smaller diameter coil than I normally use. I went 9 wraps of 28awg at 2mm dual, for total of .91 ohms but cranked up to 35 watts on my E8 and its cranking right along. I forgot how fast 28awg lights and cools.

I think my E8 pic may be a little misleading as to the size, the E8 is the same dimensions as the Reo Grand just taller. The Thump is tiny just like the E8, on an E7 it would get lost. This would be perfect for a TMod mini or an e8 Nano (18500) or even a Reo.

In an effort to streamline the operation and to keep Tom in the shop where he is more effective, he has put me in charge of collecting funds for the Thump. Please send me $274,876.99 plus $6 for shipping and I will get your atty shipped out as soon as possible.

You're right Tom, it is small. Like that DT:) Does it come with it? What build are you running on the E8? Your thoughts on atty performance?

No drip tip with this one. The tip in the pic is a Moddish Metals Lerouix 2 in stainless.

Catfish, I'll be sending a check tomorrow...thanks my friend, looks like Another Winner...!

If you liked the derringer you will love this as a bottom feeder. Fixes all the issues:
2 piece post/pin- no spinning, and in the odd case that it does you can tighten it down
Top air- no more leaks
Orings actually fit correctly.
