Don't know. Speaking of announcements, people should look back at Brandon's announcement of the DNA40 and note that he mentioned that they were already working on this board. In case anyone thinks this is "playing catchup" to Yihi or anyone else. And yes it was this board he was referring to.

Technically, Since the highest wattage board they have released to date is 40 watts, They are playing catch up without a doubt to not only yihi, but nearly every other manufacturer out there. 200 watts is not special, nor really usable in TP mode and has been long surpassed by others. Lipo's aren't new in mods. Wire selection isnt new. Software updates arent new. Even firmware writing has been done by others before. So they are 1000% playing catch up. Especially since the iPV3 7-150W will likely be released before this and will be a better device for several reasons, mainly not being massively large and heavy. They could have been working on this for the last 8 years, but since it is not in market circulation nor even announced, that means the playing catchup till its released. If secret chip development puts u ahead of the market, take a look at the touchscreen 250W bluetooth chip yihi announced 8 months ago. Even after this is released, they will still be playing catch up because this is not a practical high wattage device the average vaper will be able to use for safety and size reasons.

I will not buy another dna device ever unless it's firmware upgrade able... I had 6 total non working dna40 devices that needed sending back

the Evolv DNA200 is firmware upgradable, and when you plug it into your computer you get a full software suite to customize/tinker with EVERYTING, and you also get temp control over Ti

Btw what's a lipo?

Lithium-polymer.

You have to be VERY careful when handling these.

The outer casing of the battery is a soft plastic cover, so if it's punctured by something metal....RUN AWAY FAST!

This is a 3S1P....even a dead cell can cause a fire, but wait until you see what a fully charged one can do!

Evolv won't say this but I will. This board is built to slap faces off. With it Evolv leaves no doubt they are the best, baddest vaping boardmakers on the planet, and that everything else is and always has been a pale imitation. It shows that they, as the originators, have the most complete understanding and best implementation of temperature protection. And it shows that the quality of their product is second to none.

It takes every spec people value, and just about every feature people want in a board, and does it several orders of magnitude better than anything else out there. This includes the power -- not all watts are the same. It even uses Joules correctly.

Then it adds a ton more stuff no one has ever seen yet. TheBloke -- you're going to pee yourself.
Don't bite the dna200 screen while you have your mouth on it. I don't think the chip will like that.

This is something I do to all of my batteries. I highly suggest that everyone should do this.
