Do you know any vapers?

I know a few at work here in Reno, plus my brother and dad. A couple where I worked in Houston, too. A close friend used it to quit smoking and now rarely vapes anymore. My ex-smoker SO takes an occasional toot on mine when we're drinking, as well. I see a lot of people in the casinos vaping as well instead of smoking while they game on table or machines...that's always really cool. Most of my co-workers are dual users...very hard to quit when you work in a casino.
I've converted a couple of anolog smokers at work and we now have a growing vaping clique.
Actually vaping is incredibly popular here in Malaysia, I'd say 30% of the people loitering in the smoking area outside my office are now vaping rather than smoking.
The sad thing is that there is growing political pressure here to ban vaping, much like both Singapore and Indonesia already have.
A Malaysian government spokes person for Health was in the news only last week saying that they will be reporting on both international and their own studies into
vaping within two months, and at this point he feels vaping is very similar to smoking 'with perhaps a reduction in the amount of tar'.
It sounded like the ban was almost a forgone conculsion.
I'm hoping that the UK Health Service report that was announced the following day, and was quite supportive of vaping in general terms, will reach the Malaysian Health Ministry before they make a very poor and uninformed decision.
Time will tell.

I see a lot of people vaping here, all over the place. Most of them use starter kit type vapes, some use box mods with drippers or kayfunnies. I'm the only one I know here using mechs and gennies. I know several vapers at work, some are still smoking though and only use their vapes where they can't smoke.
I've seen 4 in total. My teacher, 2 inmarried relatives (which switched back to cigs) and one on the street. And a couple kids with cigalikes, but that doesn't count.
Almost everytime I vape in public (with as much caution as when I smoked) people stares and people often ask me what is that. Sometimes people thinks it's cool, most times people says it's unhealthy.
On a five day trip to Czech, I saw at least 10 vapers. Statistics says about 70k vapes in Norway, but I extremely rarely see anyone.
Aside from family members I don't know any vapers, but in the last year I am starting to notice the occasional vapers out and about.
About 75% of smokers within my circles have quit and are now vapers... 2 years ago I felt like a man on an island, now part of the mainstream.
I know lots of vapers. Here in Central Florida, vaping is pretty big, and getting bigger all the time. The Central Florida Vapers FB group has over 1000 members; the Space Coast group has several hundred. There are dozens of B&M shops around, and someone is having a meet up, about every weekend.
Went to a restaurant with my wife and her brother, both of whom still smoke despite my best efforts. We sat in the bar area which allows smoking and I see two people at another table, one using a large ego style battery with a tank, and the other using a mech mod with a RBA. I point this out to my BIL who says, "what? now you want to go and sit with the NEW cool kids?" LOL
I'm in Colorado and vaping is pretty popular out here.

i am starting to see more and more people here at working doing it... plus just driving around i see it a lot more
See quite a few where I live I've got all but two smokers to switch to vaping and I see people out and about all the time mainly ego setups but a few with regulated and mechs also got a group of three who use vaping to annoy others blowing vapour directly into their face and the like. It's becoming more common to see people out and about vaping see less smokers now then ever before very positive.
I live in a small town, one time seems to have forgot. For years my friend and I were the only vapers I ever saw. But times are finally changing here. I see others more and more. Not many, maybe five total, scattered here and there. But finally, finally, vape shops are beginning to pop up! I never thought I'd see that! We got one, then two more appeared in what seemed to be overnight. Two more and every vaper here will have their own
