I live in eastern PA and haven't seen anyone vaping. Of course I wasn't really looking either. I vape when I'm out and about, especially in parking lots on my way in and out of the grocery store so people are definitely seeing me vape. Hubby vapes inside stores and never had a problem. Of course he just casually does it and doesn't blow volumes of vapor around so I guess nobody notices. He actually vaped in an inconspicuous place inside the courthouse. I have stealth vaped in a restaurant and movie theater and nobody seemed to notice.

If I'm in a non-smoking environment I do go out near the smokers area so as not to cause a fuss. People always ask me about it so I look at it as an opportunity to educate them. I should have some cards made up. It's funny, but I've had more enthusiastic interest from people who don't smoke, but are interested for their friends and loved ones.

I've never actually seen anyone vaping before. Supposedly, there is a guy where I work who vapes, but haven't run into him since I found out he's one of us lol. I've been telling the smokers I work with about vaping, and 2 have become interested. I ordered 12 different disposables before deciding to o with SI Volt, so I've been giving what's left of the disposables to friends. I looked online, and there is only 1 vape shop in all of Pittsburgh. Takes me about 45 min to actually get to the city, so I might check it out sometime but for now I'm avoiding Pgh traffic and ordering from Smokeless Image and VapeDudes!

I currently live in Indiana, and I've only seen two people vaping (both in the same place at the same time). I believe that they were husband and wife. It was in a restaurant that, until July 1, allowed smoking. Although they weren't smoking, another man in their party was smoking an analog. I remember having to walk through the bar where 95% of the smoke is just to get to the bathroom lol.

my bf and I saw another couple at a local restaurant. Later we saw a woman in a car vaping - we were on the motor cycle so we had a good view in everyones cars. She was funny because she was trying to hide her vaping from us as we passed her car. I did not have my ego handy or I would have blown her a cloud.

on the other hand - we have a store about an hours drive from us and its always busy. I have seen others on the forum from my area too so maybe one day I will see other vapers. if you happen to be out in boulder co and see a short woman with long dark hair vaping - say hi. :)

Up until recently I only knew the people I had converted, the first vaper I met that I hadn't converted was our photocopier repare guy, followed a few weeks later by a fellow geocacher at a mega event. However since a B&M dhop has opened up down the road from work I have seen loads, and the shop is always packed so there are some out there, just now that smokers can see there is an alternative (and they can see and try in the shop) they are coming out.

Other than the 10 people at work I have yet to see another person vaping. I'm about 30 miles outside of Chicago. One of the gals at work did see a woman vaping in a car. I have no problems vaping in my car. That's probably why I don't vape outside..I just walk a short distance to a store then back out again. When I was vaping SafeCigs I vaped in Chicago. I even vaped in the lobby of a hotel when no one else was in the area. No one said a word to me..but I don't think anyone saw me either. That was a big moment for me. I also vape outside the restaurant where we have breakfast..the hubby pays the bill and I go outside and vape and walk to the grocery store with him. For the most part I do most of my out of house vaping in the car or on breaks at work.
