Not one yet, other than the friend I got into vaping 2 weeks ago. She still smokes but she told me she has gone to half her normal amount after just buying the Smoke NV non nic starters kit. I ran into her today at work and she said wanna go for a smoke? I said sure. I grabbed my Ego and figured she was grabbing a smoke. Today I had my first outdoor vape break in the usual smoking area with another vaper.

Most of my smoker friends and associates are flat-out not interested, which surprises me.

I have two friends that tried the ones that look like cigarettes and didn't stick with it. Other than that, I've never noticed anyone vaping in public. It's possible they had a cigalike that glowed orange and I just didn't pay attention.
I live in the SF Bay Area and there are only two shops within an hour of my house. You'd think it would be more popular here.

Haven't seen one in the wild yet either - only my SIL, who I got to start (who, BTW is doing great & is even off her asthma meds!!) and my husband.
I live in a very small town, though, so I'm not really expecting to bump into any fellow vapers anytime soon

Aside from people I know and people at bbqs I go to (it's expected with that crowd) it's only happened once. I came out of Frys and there was a guy puffing on an Ego looking e-cig out front. That's the only time I remember seeing someone while just being out and about.

I am only about 6 weeks into vaping and have yet to see anyone else away from my local vapor lounge; however today I had proof that it is out in, of all places, the Orthodox Jewish community! I met a few friends over at kosher restaurant as one of my friends is an observant Jew and we all try to respect his dietary needs when we can. Now, I was a bit concerned about vaping inside the location but I had checked out my liquid supplier (High Brow) and it said the liquid was Kosher so I decided to believe him and check with my friend to make sure it was ok. He gave me the go ahead and I vaped before our food arrived. Well, they have this HUGE female security guard inside the restaurant who charged me like I had pulled a gun in the place. Apparently, she thought I was smoking a cigarette. I VERY quickly explained what I was doing and as I was explaining I noticed all the other staff and owners laughing. Apparently they knew about vaping but had neglected to tell the security guard. Afterwards, the waitress went ahead and gave me the restaurant's blessing. Clearly these folks knew about and had already checked to make sure that vapers wouldn't interfere with the restaurant's kosher status... I can only say "who knew?"
I was in Chicago about 3 weeks ago for an entire week and I did not see a single vaper. I was really surprised and I was looking for other vapers. I was sightseeing all up and down the "Millenium Mile", went to Ravinia, rode buses and subways and basically all over every day. I had my Provari out with me. i even had my husband and son looking for vapers. We didn't see a single one.
As a side note: This country girl was really impressed with how nice the people in Chicago were. The pizza really is "that good" and the city is great. I want to go back, soon.

Supposedly saw one guy prior to taking it up myself. According to him I asked what it was and he let me try it, but I had no recollection of this just a few weeks later. In any case I saw him vaping after I took it up. Other than that I have seen a guy smoking an imitation cigarette in a bar where I live.
Generally I do not ask before using it in cafes/bars etc unless they are small, very personal or I am right by the work area. Whenever I have asked the staff have appeared to be familiar with the concept already, and very relaxed about it, which is a good sign.
Of course, I seldom leave the house and tend to be in my own little world when I do, and only remember my glasses about once in two years, so vaping is unlikely to attract my notice unless it happened under my nose.

I saw a lady the other day at Busch Gardens with one of the cig look alikes. That was my first time seeing someone in public with a vaping device.
E-cigarettes have really only ramped up in popularity within the last 3-4 years... There is a fair chance that it was an herbal vaporizer. Those come in box forms alot.
Personally I have only seen vaping in the wild twice in over a year and a half of vaping. Once was a cig-alike in Walmart... and the other was a couple in the bar that I frequent. They were using a standard eGo with Stardusts on them. Oddly, they had no knowledge of premium flavored juices, or that DIY juice was even possible.
Never seen anyone else. I live in Southern Illinois, small towns, conservative people that don't like change. People see me with my PV and give dirty looks.
I live in Ann Arbor, MI and I see quite a few people vaping. If I'm out and about for the whole day I will usually see at least a couple. I don't see many people with mods or anything, mostly just the analog look a likes. I also attend AA meetings and see quite a few people at meetings vaping. vape
I have known about vaping for 8 months, on and off vaping for about 7 of those, full time for about 3-4 weeks. I have seen 1 dude when I first started at my workplace...a stranger that is...which I find weird because, I had never seen a Toyota yaris on the road in a year while I was driving a Honda then all of a sudden when I bought the yaris EVERYONE was driving one....same colour too....lmao...
Clearly this is psychological to me which is why I think it's a bit odd that I haven't seen ANYONE since that dude where I work

Other than myself, my wife, her youngest boyn BIL, SIL.... I have not bumped into ONE vaper in public! :/
I vape at work, in private. Reason being a lot of people smoke there. 2 of those people I work with in rotation and they are very closed minded and don't want the hassle. On the other hand, I've lent 2 pv's to another coworker because he's tried to quit many times and its never lasted.

I live in southern Wisconsin, and see people vaping once in awhile. Saw a lady with a pink set-up in a parking lot

We went to a concert Friday night and saw 2 different people vaping. It seems the only time I see people vaping is at a concert.
At the concert before last, my friend and I were asked to move to the smoking section! The lady that asked to move had quit smoking years earlier but had heard if the Ecig and was interested in looking at our Provari's.

when i was working in a bar/venue i would very rarely see someone vaping. i think during the 6 months i was there i met 3-5 people.
outside of a venue where liquor is served and outside the vaping community i only have seen 3 vapers. all were cig look a likes, with the exception of one lady with a lavatube.
