70 miles from Death Valley, but actually, this place really doesn't get that hot. 107F is about the max I've ever seen, but the record low temp is -45F. It's high elevation.

Yep, I know EXACTLY the general area you are in.... There isn't too many areas in Nevada that I have not set foot on........... I say, vape chronically and forget about the weather :w00t:

"It's a dry heat" LOL, can't say how many times we say/hear that over here in Tucson.... I think that we say that to comfort ourselves when temps climb to 115 or above.... Though we have had two monsoons this past weekish or so... My husband loves them and rushes outside to wash our dog using rainwater... All I have to say is (thank goodness) this means we are heading OUT of summer, into fall....

I can't say I miss shoveling snow in the driveway, and Tucson in winter is SO gorgeous. It works out. Now that I've adjusted to the photoperiod (and being a desert person growing up) I have to say I prefer the summers if I don't have to do snow/crazy LOW temps.

To the OP, can't second enough AXIOM-1 suggestion to look into DIY juice. It's so much cheaper, so much easier than I thought it would be, and yes, after startup costs, it really is more fun, and making your own juice does cost pennies on the dollar. Then, there's that whole self-sufficiency thing.... :)

Ima start doing my research on that try to learn then go out and get the stuff it'll be cool making my own plus I get exactly what I want looks like no more buying ejuice for me

It really is cheap, a friend spent 150 and let me make half of the batch for myself cause he was nervous about first time math for it.
We each got 600ml for a total of 1200ml and we still have 3/4 the PG and a very small amount of VG left. As well as half our flavoring.

can't agree more. i'm currently vaping on Orange Cream from MyFreedomSmokes but hope to find a diy replacement soon as i decide to fork over the dough for the startup costs. in the meantime i'm doing my research. i found this video to be a handy tutorial. maybe other diy beginners will too.

yeah I know as I keep watch on the weather out West since all of my Family members still live out there...... I am the only one in the family that was weird enough to move clear across the United States :w00t:....... But, the heat that you have in the Western states is a TOTALLY different type of heat.......... You have dry heat out there with very little humidity........ Out here you can sweat to death even when it is only 80 degrees because of all the water and humidity that is in the air................ I had to laugh one year because about 10 years ago I went to Northern Nevada for a visit and on one particular day it was 105 degrees outside........... But because I have gotten used to the humidity out here the 105 degrees did not even feel hot to me.......... My wife could not feel how hot it was either and as a consequence she ended up getting a nasty sun burn because we stayed out all day in the sun as it did not feel hot to us lol..........
It's because we're 5000 feet closer to the sun.[emoji16]. 105 feels like 83 but the Sun will burn you in 5 minutes.

Yep, you are correct for sure............ I grew up out west and lived most of my life out there and I have experienced that western heat many times........ Out here it feels like water is being poured over me all day long....... I am not a big fan of humid areas but since I live out here now I guess I will just have to suck it up lol
