Spent a good chunk of time hitting the goodwill stores and getting a few things. Then got back and cooked some meat - still have more cooking to do but that'll wait til tomorrow.

Back from Day 1 of the soccer tournament. My daughter's team did reasonably well all things considered, but ran into a wall against a competitive team (my daughter's team is a recreational team) as the sun went down. By my calculations, they are out of the championship. On the plus side, my daughter has not let a single ball past her when she was in goal. And--yay!--we get to be on the field at 7:30 tomorrow morning...
