Ok, I've been trying to quit smoking and start vaping for a while now and I'm really sick of trying to flavor e juice. I don't want to wait for it to steep, not adding enough/right flavors, etc. I've come to the conclusion that I will never become a grand master at mixing juice, but you know what? I'm OK with that. So the next step in this whole ejuice fiasco is going to be vaping plain old nic juice cut with plain old vg and distilled h2o. Just wondering what percent of distilled water should be added to it to make it wick nice in a clearomizer without leaking. I may also add a couple drops of stevia to this just to give it a little something but other than that I just want some aqueous glycerin. Anyone willing to help a kizzle out?

I generally use 160 proof vodka at about 5% (1 ml per 20 ml of juice mixed) in my 0 PG mixes. Maybe bump it to 10%, but I doubt you want to go much higher.

If you would be happy with a simple menthol, working with menthol crystals is hard to muck up. Crush the little buggers, put them in a small dropper bottle with high proof alcohol, warm the bottle and shake, that should dissolve/mix. Then just add some to your plain juice, shake and vape. If it vapes slightly weak, add a bit more. If it's a bit strong, add some more of the plain juice. Menthol crystals are pretty strong flavor, you shouldn't have to add large amounts to any given plain starting juice.

I wasn't too big of a fan of the PGA when I tried it in the juice. But I do have some menthol liquid from pa that I could add a couple of drops to the vg. I've heard before that non-menthol smokers vaped menthol juice; maybe ill like it too. I was just wondering how thin I should make it with Distilled W since I'm not thinning it with flavor.

there is a similar thread to this....but....you can go up to 25% for thinning to equate it to thicknes of PG.

I use unflavored nic liquid, PG, VG (about 75pg/25vg), and flavoring. No vodka, no water... But that's me. Don't wanna mess up the flavor with vodka or water (not to mention that I don't want to vape vodka or water), since PG works much better.

Same here. I use about 30-40% VG in my mixes and never add alcohol or water to mine. They vape nice big clouds and have a great throat hit at 24mg per ml nic. If you are vaping low nic (like 12mg or lower) I have heard a little alcohol can help with throat hit. I have vaped 24mg nic juice with 30%VG and no flavoring and it wasn't too bad at all. Again, no water and no alcohol added.

P.S. I have heard people say too much VG clogs their atties/cartomizers but I have never had that problem. I use standard Joye510 atomizers and have only lost 3 or 4 in almost an entire year! I have about 30 or so right now cause I thought I would go through them quick when I started vaping at 6V about 6 months ago, but still no problems!
