Hana Modz DNA40 V4S (skinny!)

Not me, but if that is real, it's a steal for someone looking for a DNA40. And that's about what a Hana should be priced at brand new from the manufacturer.

I knew I should have been leery of a business that replaces the "S" with a "Z" in their company name. "Kewl" name.

Can you post some pictures of the fit&finish issues please. I was thinking about picking up the brass one.

I know I'm going to hear "pics or it didn't happen" but it will be difficult to capture in a picture. The finish is a gloss navy blue and is a bit "foggy" and uneven at the top of the cover. Admittedly the scratches are small and the flecks of dirt/dust are small.

As far as the machining marks, the are arcing across the door. Not deep, but noticeable. My gripe is that the finish is inferior to a $40 Cloupor clone, which exhibited none of these type issues.

I thinking that the brass version will be better since it has no finish and in hindsight I should have gotten that one, or a matte finish which is better at hiding imperfections.

Anyway - I'll try later, but I doubt I'll get anything worth posting.

Thanks. That's why the brass finish interested me. My zna was fine when it was new but it looks a bit ratty after a year of wear and tear. Wish zen offered it in polished stainless without zen coat.

Well I finally cracked! I had the limited edition in my cart for a week, but today Hyperion has a 10% off sale (coupon code "GREEN" with the quotes) so I went for it. Not a fan of the slow USB charging but I love the brass look and the small form factor. I should have it in my sweaty hands in a few days.

I ordered one last night, but I have one question...does anyone know how long Hana's shipping takes? It's a little confusing, because where there would be a choice for shipping, it says "Zone Rates - Shipping to US". If it's US made, then why would it say "Shipping to US"? And if it does ship to USA, then I'm sure it takes quite a while, right?

I myself just made the same purchase with Hyperion vape as well! I called ahead of time to make sure they could ship it out today (they said they had 5 on-hand; I guess that's now 4), and they were even so wonderful as to set me up with overnight shipping as per my request! I don't live anywhere Illinois (I'm located in SoCal), but I'd definitely be shopping at Hyperion vape if I did! These guys were absolutely enthusiastic and welcoming in going that extra step for me with something they don't normally do. Cheers!

They called me again just now to say that they were able to already send it in ahead of schedule from the rest of their shipments today because the UPS guy just showed up at their store to deliver their batteries! Talk about dedication!

My Limited Edition arrived today. I think it looks superb, I like the brass, which I'm figuring should be pretty durable. It has the large display which was a nice surprise, don't know why but I just assumed it had the small one.

It's HEAVY. With a battery, 11.2 oz (versus 6.9 for a Vaporshark rDNA). Here are some pics with the rDNA for comparison ...

I have it in my hands right now. This thing is awesome. Super light weight, nice texture and the battery door is great. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

Large screen, new fire button and bottom battery door (no tools!). I built a DNA40 large screen in a Hana mini clone with a 18650 and love it. I also just got a VS DNA40 large screen earlier this week. After this one, I'm sure I don't need any more mods. Famous last words

Yea their pics don't do their products any justice. I really only bought it because of the battery door. I was surprised how nice it was once I got it.

Wow. Gotta love the big screen and battery access. They even made it shorter than the single. And all for less money! Price is well under a Vaporshark rDNA too. Ain't competition wonderful!
