I just got my Cuboid. I also have a number of evic minis. I go by how much juice I can vape from a charge. Seems to me that I am getting about 50% more juice from the Cuboid than the mini. I only vape 15-18watts using about a 1-1.1ohm coil. I don't use TC either. I am using Samsung 30Q batteries in both of them. I expected more from the Cuboid but I like it. Feels good in the hand even if it is a bit heavy.

I like using silicone sleeves on everything but the sleeves for the cuboid that I have go on over the top and end up sliding up unless you have an iron grip on them. Don't like that part. Need to find a sleeve that goes on from the bottom. For the moment, I cut up the one I have so I can put it on from the bottom and still get the batteries out without removing it. Looks like crap but works. Does anyone have a sleeve that goes on from the bottom?
eBay

Kinda pricey, but only option I found.

The resistance won't affect the battery life on a regulated mod, only watts do.

Yep and with the sub ohms below .2 they require higher wattage and higher wattage results in decreased battery charge, so really what I was saying, was that firing the device above 40 watts decreases the battery life. Just saying my experience on the devices with what I was using, now I am sure TC is another animal. I have yet to test this in TC but I will soon. I did notice that with a TFV4 with a .4 ohm coil the device will only go up to 165 watts. I was not firing it at this wattage, I was showing a friend the upgrade to 200 watts and it would not go above 165 until I removed the tank. Nothing wrong with that, I would not vape that high a wattage anyway. Still all in all a good device and I have since picked up a Smok R200 that is a new favorite of mine.
My brother still loves his Cuboid with Cubis tank at a Toodle puffing 35 watts on the .5 coil:)

Been playing around comparing TC battery life to VW. Same tank (griffin) sporting dual 316L @ .23Ω. Same batteries in Cuboid - LG HE4s. TC lasted me 13 hours on day 1. On day 2, VW lasted 13 hours. :)

And on both days, approx 10ml of juice.

No atomizer short problems that I know of, just some atomizers have longer 510 pins than others, and that's where you might run into difficulties. I have put on a Taifun GT-2-S, Hurricane, UberToot V2, Cthulhu V2, Lemo V1 and V2, Magma (Authentic and Clone), Tron-S so far, and No problems here at all. Mine is HW version 1.01.

I put a heat sink on all my mods; always have. I imagine it would eliminate any issues you might have.

Still looking at the cuboid myself but just can't seem to Make up my mind. Seems every day I see new posts all over the place with certain issues like finish, 510, amp limit, TC issues etc but I think the battery life is what is really tripping me up. I almost always use the same settings. .2 ish ohm dual Ti coil spaced at 550f and 80w/j and I get a little less than a day most times on my ipv3li

Is battery life really that bad on the Cubiod? On my Sig 150W TC using LG HG2's at 66.5W on a 26/32 .45ohm dual clapton build I get about 15 hours till the mod battery display hits 50%.

So like how much juice have you consumed in 15hrs?

My single 18650 mods last for ~8-10hrs of vaping and my dual's will last from when I get up in the morning Saturday to a few hours after I get up on Sunday. I go through 5-8ml of juice a day. (a "day" for me is 17hrs) I may get 20hrs out of a dual 18650 charge. (YiHi 360J boxer and P4u IPV4S)

I've not clocked the Cuboid however suspect it to be less than the other two mods mentioned. Does %50 at 15hrs include +8hrs of non-vaping sleep? ;)

Good morning peeps. I threw a ss316 build on my cuboid last night to use TC and the device for the first time, and everything is tight and pretty (took my time) the problem im having is that my device keeps switching itselr back to reg power mode when i press fire.. I set my temp, set my watts, lock resistance and go to fire and boom, back in reg wattage mode.. I dont get it, i did everything right. Anybody know whats going on? Any and all insight will be greatly appreciated! Thank you

What's your Ω? I forgot what the number is .... Think it's in the manual .... But if it senses too high an ohm it pops back in VW mode.

Ok, same thing just happened to me ...

I was using 316L with TC, needed to change coils. Rebuilt arty, rewicked .... Kept going to power mode every fire attempt. Tried the usual unlocking/locking the ohms.

Took off atty, fired, said it didn't have atty. Screwed it back on, fired, asked if this was a new atty. Replied yes, relocked it, everything now working fine.

Believe it gets confused, firing without an atty on it will reset it.

Every time I've had that happen it's been due to contact issues. Usually one of the post screws not being tight enough.

That's very true... Anything over .55Ω kicks out of TC on both VTC mini & Cuboid. Had that keep happening with Ti coils when I first got the mini...

15 hours is me awake chain vaping and I get about 10-15 ml's before the battery display hits 50%, when it hits 50% on my Sig 150W TC, I throw the batteries on a charger. My old IPV mini 30W would only last me 3-4 hours or chain vaping at 30W with a like a .5 ohm single coil.
