Thanks for that question George, now that I have my Taifun GT-2-S all sorted out build wise, I'll report back on my juice usage also, I already know I get 50% more runtime out of my Cuboid than I do off of my VTC mini single battery mod, but I have never tracked my juice usage on it (I do get 5ml on a single battery mod). Another interesting test to do, let the games begin. ;)

15 hours is me awake chain vaping and I get about 10-15 ml's before the battery display hits 50%, when it hits 50% on my Sig 150W TC, I throw the batteries on a charger. My old IPV mini 30W would only last me 3-4 hours or chain vaping at 30W with a like a .5 ohm single coil.

That is still rather impressive battery life. A full day on a dual 18650 mod runs the batteries almost all the way down. As long as they last the full day I don't mind, I can toss the mod or batteries on the charger overnight to be ready to go again in the AM.

Would I be able to get a full day with Cuboid with the way I vape?

I would think that you would need a mod that is hooked up to a 12 volt car battery (with jumper cables) to get a full days worth of vaping, with the way that you are hitting on it. ;)

I put a heat sink on all my mods; always have. I imagine it would eliminate any issues you might have.

Still looking at the cuboid myself but just can't seem to Make up my mind. Seems every day I see new posts all over the place with certain issues like finish, 510, amp limit, TC issues etc but I think the battery life is what is really tripping me up. I almost always use the same settings. .2 ish ohm dual Ti coil spaced at 550f and 80w/j and I get a little less than a day most times on my ipv3li

Hi Brent, can I ask where you are getting your heat sinks from and which you prefer? I need a reputable source. My usual go-to suppliers don't sell them.

After a month of day in/day out (including a week long road trip to Vegas) use of my cuboid; the only issues I can confirm are a shallow 510 connection (this isn't a problem if you don't have to have your atty sit flush) and the voltage meter is consistently a touch off (one side or the other will always read 0.10 volts high while the other is within 0.01 volts; which is contradicted by two different multi-meters which say the batteries are within 0.03 {or less} of one another, and that is with 4 different "mated" pairs and two different brands). I did have 1 (one) instance of the fire button sticking. But it released as soon as I pressed it again and I have never been able to repeat it; even when trying.

The shallow 510 is why I want to try a heat sink. If I can get one that is adjustable I might be able to get it to sit flush and not have to be so careful not to mash out the o-rings on the mod's 510.

Other than that; no button rattle, no battery door problems (though it does remain a snug close which is good in my book), no battery tube issues, no finish issues (I have the light grey color)(this is as/more durable than any other mod I have owned; I'm not even seeing any wear on the bottom). I haven't used it in TC yet so I can't speak to that. I'm not sure what amp limit concerns you have but mine has performed as expected.

As for battery life, it has performed comparably to my old Sigelei 100w dual 18650 when running same tank/build combos (2 batteries 7-10ml of juice on dual claptons at .4 ohms and 55 watts will usually last me about 16 hours) (I still don't really understand all the contention on this <non>issue).

I've always just bought mine from fasttech. This one here: $2.72 510 Heat Dissipation Heat Sink for Atomizers - stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Works great and I've had no problems with the finish or anything. Both the pin that touches the mod and the one that touches the atty are adjustable. I can't remember the exact number but when I tested it the static resistance increase was very low and didn't throw off the TC settings in any appreciable way.

You can get an "authentic" one here:VulcanHS Vulcanizer Heat Fins Adaptor From Japan for ~10 times the price. You can probably find them elsewhere by searching vulcanizer or kepler heat sink.

Just finished my test. I get,

8.4ml (measured) on a Full Charge to No More Vapor Charge (batts. at 3.17v/3.19v) on my Cuboid/Samsung 25r Blues set to 13 Watts, 1.32Ω, KGD wicked, 3.5 to 4.5 sec. pulls, 2mm air tube/2mm airflow adjustment setting.

4.75ml to 5ml (Not measured precisely) Full Charge to No More Vapor Charge (batt. at 3.19v) on my VTC mini/Samsung 25r Blues @ 13 Watts (this from notes I had saved) same Taifun GT-2-S & settings except for 1.41Ω.

I do not understand why some are not getting battery time on the device? What batteries are you using??

I run efest 3000mah 35A(really more like 25-30A) I am getting 2 full days plus a little left over waking up before the next charge.

These efest batteries are long lasting and powerhouses but my cuboids are lasting without any problems.

You are probably not vaping at same wattage or frequency.

So the Cuboid lasts a mere 40-44% longer than the VTC Mini.

    Thanks for the follow up!

    g.
    That's more like 70-80% longer. 4.75 ml x 1.8 = 8.55 ml, 5 ml x 1.7 = 8.5 ml.

5 ml for the Evic mini and 8.4 ml for the Cuboid seems very low though. I can get about 8 ml on the Evic and 15 or so on the Cuboid.

    Hey All!

Well I said there would never be another Joyetech product for me after that PoS VTC Mini I had...

And here I am with a shiny new Cuboid flashed to FW 3.11, hopefully this performs much better in TC than the VTC Mini did.

I can say the Cuboid is definitely NOT a pos.
