I find myself lurking on so many different forums and threads, watching all the cool conversations and learning tons of information, but I feel like I'm intruding on a lot of them:unsure:. I venture to post in a few and then wait for that homey belonging feeling and...yeah it just not clicking. Sometimes just feel 2 noobie to post on a lot of things and just let the vets answer the questions or give the advise. I love it here and not complaining at all. Just wondering if anyone else feels that way, and if so, how do we find our place? If not I'm happy to lurk and post here and there.

I get overwhelmed by the sea of forums sometimes, yes.

I'd say just start posting where you want. It's not intrusive... it's the point! Because of the sheer number of newbies to e-cigs in general the board seems somewhat forgiving about posting questions that have been asked (they almost all have, it's just the name of the game).

Don't be shy! Jump right in. We all have something to share or learn from each other. We were all noobs once before & some of us still feel like we are! That feeling that you're looking for will happen when you join in on the convo. You're already a member of the fam so pull up a chair, get comfy & join in!

Just go for it. If you have a comment to make on a subject or a subject to breach then do so. There are no absolute wrong answers. If you answer based on your experience then it is not wrong, even if other disagree. Everyone has different experiences and all input is appreciated by those looking for information. Just think about as a comment you make might help sway another smoker to kick the habbit and start vaping.

Well...I think I see part of the problem..I don't have a very high post count compared to join date! Looks like I need to get busy! Shyness I guess.

Post count doesn't really matter. I have seen people on here that are "Veterans" that have less posts than you do at the moment.

Stormy, The way I see it is if you have a comment give it. Pretty much for everyone this is an experience based event. If something works for you it may give someone else an idea or lead them (or you) to a better way to do it. There is a lot of information here and a lot of different ways to do things. Besides this is also a really good support group. If you are here and received some help at one time or another it is good to pass it along to someone else, even if all you do is tell someone to Good Job keep up the efforts, or keep thinking positively, or sorry to hear you are struggling. We had one of those days and sometimes just a kind word can make a huge difference to someone. Hopefully this helps some! Have a good day.

I don't entirely keep track of everyone who comes and goes in general discussion. The fact that I remember avatar pictures better than names and people change them sometimes probably contributes to this.

What I would recommend is to check out the contest threads in the PIF forum, find one or two weekly recurring contests that suit your fancy, and usually you wind up having conversations and making buddies in those threads.

And if I remember right you are very creative..was it fur?

 Yes, it was from this weird toy I got at the thrift store. It was shaped like a 4 legged animal: the body was a wire frame with sheepskin legs, a mink skin body and rabbit fur head. It's possible it was supposed to be a dog...or a lion, the rabbit fur did stick out like a mane...or some other creature...in any case, it clearly missed. It was so strange I wanted to keep it around, but I needed fur the other night, so it was sacrificed.
