What about us iPad users? Hovering my finger does not work. If I touch it it will send it...

Just 'undo rating'. It is to the left side on the same line. I've been playing with each one and undoing it. ;)

I wanted to see what they all meant.

I just checked my phone, samsung, and they are on it. Maybe just taking a bit of time to get to all formats.

Thankfully the last three are not displaying. :nun:

Agreed . . . Really "Like" the "Agree"/"Disagree" buttons too . . . Now if "We" could get a "Read" Button added to acknowledge reading the post without providing a comment would make it really nice - IMO . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

To see a brief view of your alerts you have way too many steps now.. 2 taps to get you to another screen.. then you have to go back from there... lotta work to see likes... or comments, it was easier before

That is getting fixed next.. he's gonna have it to where you can hover for your alerts again.

When I got up this morning I liked the way things looked better.
It is a much cleaner looking format - especially from the front page.

We'll get used to this soon enough, just like we have always done with any change. :)

I think we sort of have those options..

Let's just use an example, someone says, I have cancer. You could use the heart button to show some love, or someone says My house was hit by the hurricane, you could use the informative button or the optimistic rainbow button symbolizing hope..

It acknowledges that you read the post.. might not say read perse, but it does work..

I think over time, especially within a thread, the buttons will get their own meanings. I like having the extra choices now, especially the heart, to send a caring hug on some of the posts where the news was sad.

I do agree with both of you, however the expression of "Feelings" is not something I take for granted or use indiscriminately to suggest something - even if it is just how people generally express themselves on a forum or "willy-nilly" in public . . . IMHO - "Like", "Dislike", "Love" and "Hate" can be and are very strong words to use at times, especially when someone is talking about personal subjects . . . Especially when some ECF members are looking for an acknowledgement that they are being heard and not for a commentary in response to their post . . . Just a thought & "My" :2c:
