New ECF Theme!

I use this site refreshing "new post" scrolling down the list to see what interest me, some times many times a minute ,now it is gone from the top of threads

Click on Forums on the bar that doesn't move when scrolling the page. A drop down menu appears, "new posts" is the 5th on the list. This is actually easier to navigate as you always have that option no matter where you are on the thread.

I do agree with both of you, however the expression of "Feelings" is not something I take for granted or use indiscriminately to suggest something - even if it is just how people generally express themselves on a forum or "willy-nilly" in public . . . IMHO - "Like", "Dislike", "Love" and "Hate" can be and are very strong words to use at times, especially when someone is talking about personal subjects . . . Especially when some ECF members are looking for an acknowledgement that they are being heard and not for a commentary in response to their post . . . Just a thought & "My"

So that 0/0/0 thing that used to be under my avatar never worked? I never completed a trade so I didn't know it wasn't connected. Then is the negative thing on posts just like a placeholder option from the software package that will not be implemented when things sort out?

That was my #1 complaint. I use that several times a day. Will try out dark aluminum when it's up. If New Posts is not uptop will likely come back to ECF dark.

Understandable, just don't want the trade rating connected to our post ing activity, especially as we have a neutral post rating now.. right now our forum posting "likes" are showing up under our trade rating 0/0/0 UNLESS we go to our trade rating profile page. Uncle appears to have a positive trade rating near 80,000 for example.

This is a slight bug I think that will need some future repair.

When I look at the my likes its, 38,283/0/0, so far I have no neutral or dislikes in my posts. That could all change now though

That 0/0/0 is supposed to be your trade rating, for example, mine used to show 7/0/0 for my trade rating and my forum likes were separate from that.. now it shows my likes under likes, and in the trade rating of 0/0/0 instead of 7/0/0 it's showing all my likes where the 7 used to be..

On the old format the trade rating is gone from under our avatar unless we are in PM for some reason..

Actually - "My" Trade Rating - Feedback Stats is 14 (100%) . . . As for that other number - that's supposedly how many "Likes" I've received from people on ECF (something's wrong there). . .

Now if only I could get more of those "Trophy Points" that some people have and get the gift that was promised for reaching a certain goal . . .

Just swinging through to point out that the "like" options are so light on some devices/formats that they are impossible to see. IPad and the old format are two of the ones I've seen people having that problem with.

I likey the new buttons! Stated meaning aside, I think the rainbow is going to be MY new like button. I love rainbows so I think that's what I'll be giving out. Love the thumbs down too, that way I can express my disagreement with a post without having to reply and struggle not to call some idiot an idiot.
And I personally would LOVE the dumb button, but I know lots of people would be so offended to get their post marked "dumb". I have to remember that just because nothing offends me and I subscribe to the "sticks and stones" way of thinking I know lots of people have sensitive feelings and think words and emojis matter and getting that little dumb icon would send them into their safe room, instead of making them think about their post.
