Visual Evaluation: Since I was charged with this, I will present some results. I don't think this will skew anything because everyone else can also see their samples. My plan was to fill a 30 ml glass bottle with each base, but it turns out I don't have enough identical 30 ml clear glass bottles to do that and make 30 ml bottles of vapable mix. So I'm doing this in the process of mixing down. I began by putting a measured 5ml of base in each bottle:
Yes, they're arranged by our perception of how dark the colors are. Sample A is definitely the darkest. There's very little difference (if any) between D and B. C is clearly the outlier here.
We (neither my daughter or I) spotted any cloudiness or turbidity in any of the samples. So we're calling them all equally "clear" despite their differences in color.
Next I added 3 ml of PG to each sample. The PG was sourced from Vapers Tek; I received it in the same package as their their nic a few weeks ago. Then I added 12 ml of VG. The VG came from Nude Nicotine, also in the same package as their nic. Both the PG and the VG were smell-tested and neither had much noticeable odor. Anyway, the resultant mix is a 25mg 40/60. I usually vape at closer to 30/70, but I upped the PG in the name of science. In addition, I made a 5th bottle of 0 mg 40/60 (8 ml PG, 12 ML VG).
Here are the freshly mixed vapable samples:
What I find interesting here is sample C no longer looks entirely colorless in comparison to the nic-free PG/VG mix (but it's close).
