Why?
Because instead of never to be used mod I can buy Booker's and use it immediately.

Well please do not buy more then you absolutely need.
For me that would be zero, ymmv.

Ever since this FDA bull**** I'm starting to cut back on mod usage , my newer mods like my sig150 ipv d2 I'm trying not to use , I'm using the mods oldest first until they die , starting with the ipv3 I'm not as worried about the cherry bomber as its a mech but the smok m80+ I'll use as its internal battery , I have 8 mech tubes all In mint condition that I'll not be using those are my major doomsday items

I'm going to stockpile on mainly nic since that seems to be the biggest worry at the moment

In my opinion id use oldest mods first until there dead then move foreword even as much as I love rotating my mods it seems like the best thing to do until we see what really happens

Out of my mechs I'll really depend on my smpl mods I have 2 and they hold up great and have very little to break on them I may even pick up 2 more clones since my clone version I have now is still working perfect after 2 years of usage and the authentic is still brand new without a mark on it

I'm starting to think about a few of my smoking friends who have dabbled in vaping but haven't gotten over the hump. Depending on how this plays out, some of my hoard may be just the thing to help them quit when and if they want to make the jump. I could easily set up a few people with good reliable rigs.

How's that for a justification?:D

Just put in my last vaping order for the vaping siege.
Do you think you should change your signature to "I WAS, THE Frugal Vapist."? ;)

I've been ordering vaping items almost every day since the deeming - it's habit forming - so I've no claim to frugality myself...

Not buying anything for a couple of years is pretty frugal.

Yep I have spent a couple of hundred since the Deeming regs fell upon us.
Still considering the time span, pretty frugal overall :)
I am about 17 months into vaping and have still spent maybe 1/3 of what I would have spent smoking and am set for years. And cigs I smoked were $32/carton here when I quit.

Me too. It's so much cheaper to vape than smoke, even w/o DIYing juice. But since the deeming I decided to wade into DIY and I ordered 20 flavors and a liter of nicotine before having mixed a single milliliter of liquid, began to compulsively check websites for sales of good mods (with external batteries of course), ordered 4 back up mods, 4 extras of my favorite tank, along with more replacement parts than are probably necessary. Oh and 4 more RTAs. I have to take care of myself and my wife after all.

So pretty soon, I think I'll be able to join you and say I won't need to buy anything for years. Except all this buying has given me a serious case of shinyitis. That wismec presa 100w silver mod looks like it would fit in the hand so nicely.

Honestly I think logic and reason will ultimately reign, and this preparation will be unnecessary. If so, all this stuff won't go to waste and it will be used. But if not, well, I've still spent less than I would've had I continued smoking, and I'll have what I need to not return to smoking if the bad guys actually win.

How I store my nicotine
Published by mattiem in the blog mattiem's blog. Views: 306

I purchase my 100mg/ml nic in 1 liter bottles. As soon as I get it I transfer all of it to smaller glass bottles. I use mostly 120ml blue or amber glass bottles but also have some 60ml clear glass bottles and some 250ml and 500ml amber glass in there.
I fill to within 1/4" from the top and cap tightly with poli-cone caps.
I then wrap each bottle with aluminum foil--No light is going to get through that.
Then wrap each bottle with bubble wrap to prevent the chance of breaking one if bumped.
Then comes my vacuum seal food saver.
I put 1, 2, or 3 bottles in a vacuum seal bag (depends on size of bottles) and then get all the air out.
no air is going to get through all of that :D
And there you have it. Sounds complicated but really isn't.

My oldest nic was purchased May 2012. I removed a 500ml bottle of it just last week and it was still as crystal clear as the day I got it. I kept 60mls out for use and transferred the rest into smaller bottles. wrapped them up and put them back in the freezer. There was no noticeable difference in smell, taste or strength either. It was about 3 1/2 years old. Only time will tell how it will hold up but I expect it to still be as good as new 10 or more years from now.

This is great advice Mattiem. Thanks for that. For some reason I missed it when you posted it a few days. I was in transition from holidays to home.

I have actually taken the plunge and ordered 250ml of 100mg Nic from MFS. I only ordered 250 ml to test whether it arrives or not without being confiscated by customs in Australia. If it makes it successfully I will dive in an purchase 1 litre.

Ok, I've waded through all 26 pages of posts on this AND the 1.5 hr PB vid.

I have a few thoughts, in no special order here other than how they bubble up through my cranial slime.

I really am not thrilled with EITHER of our Presidential choices though yes, I am a Conservative.

I know a good bit about Trump. He is known for surrounding himself with the experts in any field he goes into that he isn't already an expert on. The way he assembled his potential Supremes list supports him following through on this as Prez. (One of the main reasons his Casinos went TU is ALL of his expert Casino team died in one helicopter crash.) I think this bodes well for him listening to the Right people on any vaping issue.

Hillary on the other hand, with the Clinton foundation, has CLEARLY been showed to be beholden to her large contributors. She won't even Discuss the Topics of her speeches to her big money people. I think she would be Much more likely to support Big Tobacco and help kill vaping For The Children. Trump is Very anti-smoking. I think he'd easily see vaping as more the cure it is than the problem it is alleged to be.

Who is going to do all this FDA enforcing? The FDA sure doesn't have the manpower and someone would have to approve the massive $ outlay to hire them. That requires congressional voting that I don't think would happen. They can't even hire enough FDA inspectors to stop the food we all eat everyday from poisoning us. I certainly can't see local authorities all ready to use their local, needed for Real Duties already, personnel to shut down local vape shops and kill all these local jobs based on some FDA ruling.

<minor soapbox rant> I actually think all this PC BS in our country right now May help the vape situation out. IMO, the Tolerance pendulum is starting to at least slow down it's current direction of swing. I don't live in a Rich part of the country. But just my little Marion county Fl has just said they stand to lose 70 million a year in Federal school $ that I know they desperately need, because they will fight this Federal Equal Bathroom edict. I just frankly do not see local authorities as being all ready to use what needed personnel they have now to bring down all this Federally Mandated apocalypse on My Vape Shop down on their main street. As I already said, no Federal agency has the people to enforce this and I can't see them getting the $ voted for them to hire them either.

As conspiratorial as it sounds, PB's idea that the FDA purposely makes this SO onerous as to Force a outside legal or Congressional (easier) option actually sounds logical to me. If I was going to bet on an outcome Today, that's how I'D bet.

What in principal is different from say the Colorado State Police not enforcing the Federal weed laws and say Rick Scott, Governor of Florida saying, Yeah, we're not going to spend One Dollar enforcing any FDA anti-vape Job edict? I AM Totally Stoked that the Most Immediate BIG time lawsuit against the FDA on this was filed by Halo, a Florida vape company.

How many of you here are shooters? What did you just go through in the past 3 years with ammunition? Haven't you danced a very similar Stockpile Shuffle before? How much did you save now that ammo prices and supply are completely back to normal?

Am I concerned? Certainly.

Will I be keeping a close ear and eyes on this? You Betcha.

I'm just really glad all those Black Helachopters are hovering over yalls houses and not mine. ;)

Oh, and PS...

I don't mean this as any slam to PB and Dimitris, I'm just making an observation.

We're always told, Follow the money. Generally, I think that's pretty good advice.

In regards to the size of the Black Helachopter fleet, I do think we should remember that Dimitris isn't working so hard as an activist for Free and probably The Most Likely job to be impacted The Quickest by the deeming rules are those of YouTube reviewers of New Vape products. Dimitris even half-jokingly(?) suggested PB as our new Federal Vape Czar.

Take that for what it's worth.

Dear Ms. XXXXX,

Thank you for contacting me with your thoughts on H.R. 2058, the FDA Deeming Authority Clarification Act. It is good to hear from you.

As you may know, H.R. 2058 was introduced on April 28, 2015 by Representative Tom Cole. This bill would move the predicate date for newly-deemed tobacco products from February 15, 2007 to the date when FDA's "deeming regulations" take effect. This would protect products, which were not yet in production in 2007, from being unfairly discriminated against. While also protecting manufactures from more burdensome regulations and bureaucratic paperwork. At this time, H.R. 2058 has been referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, of which I am not a member and no hearings have been held.

Like you, I understand that this proposed rule change from the FDA would be harmful to industry, specifically the smokeless tobacco industry. Consumers should be able to access the products they choose to consume without the burden of more government regulations. This is why I am a cosponsor of H.R. 2058. Please be assured, should this piece of legislation come before me for a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives in its current form, I would vote in favor of its passage.

Please continue to contact me with your ideas and issues of concern through my website at: U.S. Congressman Tom Graves or by calling one of my three offices located in Dalton, Rome, and Washington, D.C. I also continually update my social media platforms on Twitter: Tom Graves (@RepTomGraves) | Twitter and Facebook: Congressman Tom Graves and encourage you to visit both. If you would like to receive periodic email updates from me, please sign-up to receive my newsletter by visiting this website: Sign up for Email Updates | Congressman Tom Graves.

Again, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me on this important matter. Your input helps me to better serve you in the U.S. House of Representatives. If I can be of any further service, please let me know.

Sincerely,

I would use tge mods with internal batteries first because those are most likely to fail.
