On stockpiling after FDA deeming regulations

do u think china will still ship to usa ? black market?

Yes, I think so they will just call them adjustable power packs for hobbyist.
And label the tanks for 'Nic free juice only' - not a tobacco product. If FDA think it is then they will have to take a hard look at all the 'Vic vaporizers' in everyones house.

According to the PB vid, House Bill 2058 is dead.

The Correct bill to favor is the Cole-Bishop amendment. It both changes the deem date to Now And puts in a few common sense age and kid restrictions. IF I understand correctly, this would be voted on by your Congressional Representative in DC. It has both Dem and Rep co-sponsors, whereas the HB 2058 had No Dem support which is exactly why it didn't go anywhere.

Oh, and on my prior thoughts on who NOT to vote for?

Paragraph 7 here. The HEAD of the Democratic party is Against the Cole-Bishop amendment that would save vaping. You can bet your sweet ... it's because of those evil E-Cig vape companies who want to get all the Chilrens hooked on their candy drug juice. <Eyeroll> Vapers Win Big: House Committee Passes Amendment To Save E-Cigarettes

Planning decades out may be a little much, but I can see the argument for it, (depending on one's age).

Anyway, vacuum sealing things in bags isn't very difficult or expensive to do.

I checked on amazon. An adequate sealer costs about $40, and enough 11-inch bags to seal a whole herd of steers is about $17. A small investment, it seems to me.

You know, there is ONE post Deeming Rule measure that I Can completely agree with.

It DOES seem like the Perfect justification/impetus to begin to get one's nic dosage as close to 0 as you ever intend to get. I can't think of any reason any of us wouldn't want to get down to the 3-6 mg area.

While I don't think it's gonna be necessary, I DID think up one effective at least today, countermeasure to any U.S. vape Doomsday.

From what I read, England and possibly Canada will end up with, considering where the FDA appears heading, MUCH less onerous regs than ours. I think you'll still be able to get vape stuff there, Especially in the UK. The UK is actually at the forefront of the PRO vape arena.

I have several friends in both Canada and the UK. I'm sure they wouldn't mind shipping me whatever I bought and paid for from their country. It might not be cheap, but it Would Be Available.

Tip: This is one of the stages where things can get tricky. A committee isn't required to act on measures referred to it; neither is a subcommittee. It only takes one subcommittee or committee to trip up a bill's progress, and it can happen without any visible activity. For example, if the leadership decides the bill does not fit within its overall agenda, a decision not to act will "kill" the bill just as effectively as a vote against it. The only way for a member to get the bill out of the committee should this happen is to use a discharge petition.

Stage 3: The Bill Goes to Committee

RobertCromwell, I am sad that I missed out on those Kato's. I have 2 black and silver Kato's from Angelecigs, and would have loved to get a couple of all silver versions, especially at that price...
I regret not buying all 5 they had at the time I ordered.
Got 2 though.

I am done stockpiling but I did end up ordering a new RTA because I wanted it. Plus bigger Tanks may get hard to come by;) I did see that the IPV6 is coming out soon and I may want that too;) I did talk my brother into buying a couple of liters of Nic and some coils. I still have to talk him into another mod and RTA, so now I can have fun shopping for him:)

According to the PB vid, 2058 "died in committee" due to no Democratic support.

The Cole-Bishop amendment has both Dem and Rep co-sponsors and passed Out of committeee with a decent margin.

Plug you zip code in here and get your contact info for your Washington Representative.
Find Your Representative · House.gov

This counts much more than any online petition as they can easily verify that you are you if they want.

My Reps site won't even take your email unless you use the right zip code for yourself.

Same here, I've been stocked up for some time but will still buy a mod or atty that catches my eye. A Pico was my latest "why not" purchase. I suspect there will be a flood of new products in the coming months as manufacturers rush to beat the August deadline however I'll be leery of any radically new designs because revisions to correct first run manufacturing problems (like the cracked ceramic insulator on the original Crius RTA) may not occur after August.

IPV6 is my downfall. Showed it to my wife as I ranted it may not be available in time to beat FDA deadline:grr: I don't want to pre-order something I may not receive nor do I actually have an honest excuse to purchase it.............But Damn, I want it.:w00t::w00t::w00t:

<banging head on brick wall>

Please support both. HR2058 has gained 2 more sponsors.

Cole-Bishop is moving slowly. Better to have two traveling through the process.

Easy there
