I need some opinions. I pulled the trigger on a 6 liter order of nic to add to my other 4 liter stash. Also pulled the trigger on 10 tobeco Kayfun V5's and 10 sets of replacement parts and glass. I feel I'm set for tanks and nic. The problem I'm facing now is a 700.00 order towards mods. I have considered all Rx200s, Ipv 400's, found a place that still have Yihi Sx Mini M Class's for 99.99 a pop. Should I buy a lot of lower end mods or a handful of high end mods? Anyone chime in and give me your opinion

It depends on how you vape, for me I stocked up on Provari and a Reo, devices known to last and hold up for many years. I got several Picos and Nemesis too because they were so cheap.

I think I would do both also. Just looked at the Yihi sx and they are expensive but you found a great price. I'd get a couple of those and then you really should look at the

I just used it earlier this afternoon to purchase a few more things and it worked then. I never knew it had an expiration code. There are other if you want......but only 5% discount and one use only. Try iloveyou. That should get at least 5%.
Sorry.

I guess it depends on your finances and mindset. For some people $100 is a lot of money, for other people $10,000 isn't. Mix n' match? With a $700 budget (which you won't keep, it'll be at $1200 by the time you're done ;-) buy 4-5 nice mods and load up on cheap stuff with the rest?

Counting everything up, I'm @ around 15 high-end mechs which I haven't stockpiled, but have simply proven to be relatively indestructible and work as well now, as they did back in 2010. I already had enough spare parts to build probably another 7, because try finding spares for Super T or GG mechs, so I have multiples of every single piece for every single mech, and man are there are a lotta pieces for GGs ;-) So that's the End of Time, I'm sitting on a deserted island, making atomizers out of clay, tin foil and lint I found in my pocket collection ;-)

Regulated I've basically doubled Dicodes from 6 up to 12, so 6 in use, 6 new ones as spares, and 6 Dani Extreme V2+ because I think they're awesome.

Around 10 ProVari's (old school stuff that's beaten up, chipped and dented, but keeps on going, P3s, Procyon, etc, basically stuff they're still selling).

My low-end Just In Case collection amounts to, I keep buying ProVari mini blems when they go on sale, 'cuz it's ProVari, it's rock solid, it costs $30 bucks <-- please note, 90% of the time I'm still vaping @ 7.5-12 watts, if your required baseline for happiness is 80w, then these are not the answer obviously.

A Big Box of Stuff that I've purchased over the years but don't really like, including SX Mini MLs and a Q (they're good, but Dicodes made me lose interest since I don't need anything over 60watts personally, and the Q, which is really nice, just didn't change my mind), VapourFlask, uhm, probably 15 more mods which I've gotten over the years but don't use anymore, but there isn't actually anything wrong with 'em.

I have roughly a dozen additional mechs which are simply awful but do work. 3 Ba gua titaniums come to mind. Why did I buy these? They're insanely over-priced AND awful. What was I on when I kept ordering them? Why didn't someone stop me?!?? Oh, ya, right, shinyituS, they sho' do be pretty!

A Big Box of Crap (not to be confused with stuff), blu e-cigs? ReVolveR? Volcano? An explosion of pre-boge and smoktech cartos circa 2009-2010? Got 'em! + 100s of Boge cartos, 100s of Ce2-5 clearos, just stuff that I outgrew but used to like and I'm sure still works fine; it's not really crap per se, I've just moved on, and would be kinda ...... going from a Kayfun back to a ce2 or punched boge carto :)

I've considered buying a big box of [insert brandname of Trendy Hot 80w-200w box that's on sale for $20-$30 on efun.top right now] just because they're so cheap, but I haven't done that, because it's kinda debatable if this has any point whatsoever, I need this why, just in case it's 15 years later and the rest of the world has stopped making new products? Not likely. In case every single high-end mod I like to use dies? Also not likely, and the mechs will keep going until the end of time, never even had a single one get its 510 connect stripped despite much abuse. I mean they're mechs, they're all built like tanks, and there's not much that can go wrong with 'em, it's not like the chip is gonna fry when I drop it in the snow, water or on hard cement...

I lack a crystal ball, but I am 100% sure that if I view my purchase as an investment in my health, or even a financial investment: 100mg/ml nic, is NEVER AGAIN going to be this cheap or this available. I've invested in an asset that will do nothing but dramatically increase in value, the more taxes and regulations and nonsense gets piled on top of the vaping industry.

A pile of high-end mods I enjoy? Not a problem :) And the mechs are collectibles which don't ever age and only increase in value because you can't obtain them anymore.

So I guess my answer is: buy what you like. Where I personally draw the line is stockpiling mods from China that I don't actually want to ever use, but am willing to fall back on if the whole world vanishes... I just don't believe that China is going anywhere. We have a fake democratic republic and they have fake communist capitalism.

Other variables to consider: are you only thinking of yourself, or yourself and your family members and friends who are all oblivious and have their heads in the sand, or have a hard time coming up with $20? If yes, also other people, do you have 10-15 inexpensive spares to give to people so they can at least keep on vaping? Do you have 2x or 3x as much nic as you actually need? Is this important to you. Etc, etc, etc...

Thanks for listening. My name is nobody in particular and I'm an addic' (enunciating is very dangerous in recovery). I enjoy moderation, as long as there's a LOT of it. Handing the mic to @qorax who probably purchased 3x my collection in the last quarter alone ;-)

I believe longevity of a mod does not depend on price of a board (chip). Any board can fail any moment, any board can work almost forever. For me it's a fire button and 510 connector. Difference in price for high rated button and low rated button can be just $2, but it will make a huge difference. Unfortunately I have no idea about button ratings for different mods. As for 510 - I like SS.

Alright you super helpful folks..I need HELP
I think this was the thread that was tossing this stuff around
Put together a Subtank Mini from parts from FT today
$5.38 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK Mini Air Flow Control Valve Base - silver at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$5.59 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK Mini RBA Plus Coil Head - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$1.70 Acrylic SUBTANK Mini Bell Cap - translucent / 37.5mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I put this together and it leaks like a sieve. Out the a/flow.
I tried another bell cap, one of these
$7.79 Acrylic SUBTANK Mini Bell Cap w/ POM 510 Drip Tip (5-Pack) 5-pack - 39.2mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
and it still leaks.
This is a new set up for me. I am unfamiliar with this atty although the Subtank mini that I used before came all assembled and no leaky.
Am I missing a part? Please help
