See, y'all need to ignore that person who was spouting off on the ML thread. He's never been right yet about any mod he's done that on. His "sources" are probably his own imagination. When someone is in the business of selling mods, they will tell you anything. Untrue things to get you to buy it, or untrue things to sell you something else (a DNA200, perhaps, instead of an m class).
Thought it was going to be fixed in the release but apparently they didn't, just leave it alone 2legs and you'll be fine. Or you can use it as a temp offset for a Perfect Vape.
Up = Up and Down = Down whether it be C or F
I am getting a pretty good vape at 415F could be a little stronger but I cooled my atties in the refer for a while think I will let them warm up to room temp. also notice the TC wants to go to 425F before backing down.
Wow I reset the atty resistance at room temp and compensate temp to 22C which is close to the real room temp mod set to 415F 16J and getting a great vape. 425F with the CW I've noticed it takes a little hotter temp.
How does the compensate temp work. If you set it lower do you get a stronger vape and higher for weaker or the other way around?
Double it and add 30. Job done.
Seriously, that's a solid ballpark to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit.
Also I'm curious about the upgrade it says 75W. My SXM's in Power which I never use only go as high as 40W. Is that right.
The "Compensate Temp" feature will let you select a value from 0-50ºC. So this seems to be the ambient temperature, not some kind of offset/delta from room temperature (20ºC). If you set a 10ºC lower value than actual temperature, this should be the same as increasing the temp limit by 10ºC. However, if you want a stronger/warmer vape, increase the temperature limit instead. The idea behind this new feature (as I understand it) is to easily compensate for different ambient temperature during calibration, without the need to fiddle with the temperature limit.
Btw: they also fixed the bug, where it always jumped to preset "M1" when exiting the menu.
My Bad put it in standard and goes to 60W do you have to have the other upgrade to make this work properly.
When I upgraded way back when I picked the 60w upgrade but seems to work fine.
Is the only way to get to compensate temp by resetting the resistance or is there a back door.
OK installed new firmware...but can't push my power (in power mode) above 40W...what's up with that?
