There is a screw on the side of the base near the air flow..it's not a bottom fill, more like a side fill..

The screw is the air adjust. Next to it is what looks like a small hole, it has a check valve in it. You need a metal fine tip bottle to fill that way.

I fill my 3.1s from the top. Remove top, cover air inlet with thumb, fill to about half way up the threads.

Start threading the top on, turn upside down and remove your thumb from the air intake as you finish tightening the top. Take a couple draws to get the vacuum going. Done.

I have not gotten mine yet...nor did I do much research till tonight.... had to jump on the $2 sale... I did see a video on the top fill. Looks kinda easy that way... I assumed there was a screw like the KF2 but just on the side... what is a check valve and what keeps the liquid in it if there is no screw or plug of some sorts?? Curious.

Just got done making 5 flavors (360ml ea) (limited by vg on hand stupid brain not ordering more when ordering flavorings) I am right now vaping a single flavor + EM and LOVING IT i swear it is the longest lasting best after taste ive had in quite some time.. Red White & Blue from FW!! Tasty! it has a subtle taste but good going in but after taste you sit there and still taste it for over a minute and it is yummy :p
Is that a fruit type flavor? What % do you use?

No problem, if you like i have other FW singles i am working on but havent vaped yet... not workign on just yet i suppose they are done being made but yea :D I have good vibes about Yummberry :D

I use FW skittles. Last batch was @10% but that is too strong for me. First batch was @5% and I liked it much better. Up until I had gotten the skittles flavor from FW, I had always read that you start FW @15%. Not this.
:)

In this case, it's a small stainless steel ball held against the base (spring loaded? likely, but I've never destroyed one to find out ;) ). So some mechanical pressure from "inside" pushes the ball against the seat to prevent leaking. A steel tipped bottle, or a blunt syringe, is needed to fill that way. Since all my bottles are "medium" tip poly, and since I'm personally not sure what mechanical means is used (i.e. how dirable is it???), I top fill them.

And yep, the top fill is easy, and will also work on the 2 series, just remember that if you have the 2+ Lite, cover BOTH air intakes

Ooooh yea skittles im my experience needs to be much MUCH less and better carried with another flavor something like 5% skittles and 5+% of like strawberry or raspberry...

I would never start a FW flavor at 15% (even though it is printed on all their bottles)

I had the BIGGEST dilemma figuring out where to start off with the flavors i decided to use (couldnt use them all because not enough VG to go around) i decided on 12% because With Boom! and Beetle Juice those were great % after being too high in the past :D i tried 20 and OMG too much :p my biggest debate was 10% and 12% with candy flavors like "hard candy" and "rainbow" those should clearly not be the main flavor and yet the backup :D Kinda like i view cream flavoring... i would never go above 5% heck 2% is good for me

I would have bought a few of them jsut for s&g's but they are not high temp compatible...

Kayfun 2 and 3.x are designed for low wattage, single coil operation. The juice channels aren't deigned to keep up with anything more than 20W or so and work best with some PG in the mix.

You know that only works in a fully charged Tesla, right?:D
I just so happen to have 3 fully charged Teslas, they look just like these. But I can't for the life of me figure out how that would work with them.

@Plettschner, if you are looking for a black KFL base that fits the slam cap that @Two_Bears suggests:

$4.31 Replacement Base for Kayfun Lite Plus - stainless steel / black plated at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
    in silver:
$4.31 Replacement Base for Kayfun Lite Plus - w/ logo / stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

What I like about this base (and it's silver brother) is that the AFC is on the side and not bottom for ease of use. I can confirm fits like a champ on that slam cap and vapes superb. Can bottom fill as @Two_Bears suggests.

For anyone looking for deck screws for the KF these are greatness. Catches the coil every time first try:
