I would so do that Tib:D...my local Apothecary (a 5 min walk from my house) has rolls of the stuff sitting on the shelf...it would almost be easier to buy 5 rolls of it, chop it up, stuff some envelopes with it and mail it to you guys than constantly posting the same old pic of what I bought

I'm finding the thing with yarns (aside from the dyes used to make your pretty coloured wicks ) have been subjected to a factory "sizing" process...which is a chemical process that relaxes then holds a twist put into the cotton so that yarn stays yarn (same stuff used to keep brand new bed sheets nice and flat, new jeans pressed, "T" shirts smooth and pressed, etc...) and that chemical is scented...ever wonder why all new cotton clothes all smell similar?...sizing...and it'll make your juice taste Walmart fresh...It's a pretty inert chemical slurry mostly consisting of natural starches so your not gonna die or anything but it will impede absorption, which is what we are trying to attain. It's this sizing removal that Evilgrym (remember him, the guy that started this epic thread :D) advises to boil the snot out of string, thread, yarn, etc, (basically anything that is "spun")...cotton batton, cotton balls (Bunny Balls)...hell you could pick the cotton off a bunch of Qtips...it's as pure/raw/unprocessed/sterile as it gets.

I rebuilt a bottom coil from gotvapes yesterday using a regular ole cotton ball. Said 100% natural cotton so I used it. The taste was terrible. I had to toss it. Not sure what that was all about. No dry burns, I checked the ohms (2.1) and dripped juice. Test fired and filled it up.

get outta here, gummy!

quig - sure looks like it might not be available in the us but will dig further. found this though

purl soho | products | item | sweet dreams stuffing (quilter's dream)

I think that would be perfect...I think anything labelled "organic" "natural", etc...would by convention avoid sizing...

I find it almost incredulous that Canada has a product the the US doesn't...hold, Ketchup flavoured potato chips...what the hell do Americans have against Ketchup chips?...I mean come on! ketchup is a friggin food group in the US but you don't sell those?

When your Bourbon induced haze wears off :D drive to any drug store, go to the first-aid aisle and look for this:

100% sterile cotton balls also work as well as those quilted round make-up removal pads girls (and some dudes) use...but the raw cotton batton in the pic I find is the most versatile...you can mold, twist and mutilate it into anything you need...

I found a roll just like that at my local Walgreens here in cali. just tried finding it online but no luck. when i get home later i'll get the exact name and let you folks know.

There may be some poly in the cotton balls... the types/brands of cotton balls I've seen in Canada seems to be about 50/50 whether they contain or not...flame test sounds like a good idea if you're unsure...better than inhaling it, though we all have at one point vaping :(

Yeah, I checked CVS, Walgreens and Riteaid. Only found it at the Riteaid, in the first aid section with all the bandages and gauze. I think it was maybe $5~$6. Its a pretty good size roll, should be good for hundreds of wicks I would think, depending on how good you get and snipping off the right amount each time.
