I think that would be perfect...I think anything labelled "organic" "natural", etc...would by convention avoid sizing...

I find it almost incredulous that Canada has a product the the US doesn't...hold, Ketchup flavoured potato chips...what the hell do Americans have against Ketchup chips?...I mean come on! ketchup is a friggin food group in the US but you don't sell those?

we have ketchup flavored chips! you just have to go to the ghetto dollar store to find them, delicious!

I have piles of cotton yarn, gauze, and bamboo yarn lying around. So we're saying this would work vs. the cotton batton?

I think I asked this previously and probably forgot the answer lol. In a line set up, if you're using cotton, do you need to roll it like a straw and have an open center channel?

Because if not I would imagine yarn would work just as well?

See my post where I ramble on about sizing (page back or so)...and also read real early posts where Evil mentions boiling (presumably to remove the sizing)...I usually vape fairly subtle fruit flavours and it seem no matter how much I boil, the 3 different yarns I have taste like a bounce sheet and just can't get past that...but that may be very juice dependant so give it a try...with the batton, no hole, solid semi firm stick that will very easily screw into your device wick hole (so you don't choke it)

When your Bourbon induced haze wears off :D drive to any drug store, go to the first-aid aisle and look for this:

100% sterile cotton balls also work as well as those quilted round make-up removal pads girls (and some dudes) use...but the raw cotton batton in the pic I find is the most versatile...you can mold, twist and mutilate it into anything you need...

Alright, quigs....you've converted me. I had originally bought that same cotton by mistake (I thought it was gauze) and had a hard time getting a uniform wick. When I did get a wick rolled, I think it was too big and didn't vape as good as my gauze. However, after all your preaching I tried it again and it's awesome! It's definitely harder to work with than the gauze but it sure does work great. I just wicked 3 vivi nova tips with this cotton.

I put together a cotton wick for a bloog cartimizer... not really a normal rebuild but it works. It's only about 1.2ohms but with a heavy wire so no spot gets all that hot. I think this may be helpful for the use of cotton. It takes few sec to heat up but makes good vape. If I was running it off a larger battery it might work well, but it's drawing too much for my USB port.
I just used bits of cotton I pulled off q-tips (it's all I had laying around). No off flavors as of yet. I've only been vaping PG with out flavor so far.

Man! I really wish I could help you guys...it's a common as borscht in Canada...I'm going into Bellingham WA. on Saturday...I'll check the usual suspects (Walgreens, Rite Aid, Wamart, Target, etc...) and look for the US equivalent.

I wondered if someone was gonna try the Q-Tip thing...that's commitment :D

I got it covered. I put GrandMa to work and solved the wick problem all at the same time.

Farm fresh, organic, 100% cotton. (now I just got to get her to stop spitting her snuff all over the place)

ANd quigs, thank you for the reply. I recall your issues with yarn taste and what not.

I was just under the impression that Line/Single Vertical Wick systems "needed" an open straw type set up to wick well, all those videos make a big deal about keeping the center channel of the SS mesh open.
