Just checking in to thank you all for positive thoughts and to specially thank Mike for the Bobas Bounty he sent me sent to hold me over till AVE has more to sell. Im still getting Visisting Nurses in every 2 days for wound dressing changes but they say there is improvement and my surgeon after the last appt. has lifted the no weight bearing restriction to a light restriction which is good news. His best case senerio is full use of my foot and 80% ankle usage though expect major arthritis with the associated pain that comes with it. He suggested filing for disability....and I hear that a major pain in the .... with having to refile after many rejections.

I'm glad to read you are improving! Light restriction sounds a lot better than no weight bearing at all. File for disablility....it isn't always a pain in the ..... I filed one time and went to their doctor one time. Legitimate injuries and disabilities is what it was intended for.

I went on full disability years ago, too. Everyone said it'd take months, even a year or more possibly, many dr.s and so on... about four months later I was on it, only a couple dr.s visits/statements.GO FOR IT!
