There has to be something wrong with me. I use several cartos and only smoked 1 pack of ultra light shorts a day. I am vaping 3 cartos a day at 11 mg and sometimes more. Is my math off or is it a spill. I only paid 35 dollars a carton on analogs. It is costing me at least 1/3 more in price. Now I am not complaining. I am just wondering if anyone else has run into this? I love being free of the nastiness of analogs. Hope I got the terms correct.

They lied to you. Your cartos depending on the type you have, probably hold about .5 ml of juice. The average amount of juice people use is about 3-5 ml a day. Even if you use 2 ml a day, that's be around 4 cartos.

What kind of pv do you have? 11 mg is on the low side. The average that people use when they start is from around 18-24 to get them off cigs.

Prefilled cartomizers is a pretty expensive way to go.

The vapor also doesn't convey Nicotine as efficiently as smoke does. You might need a higher Nicotine % to make up for it, or there is kind of a knack to using these PVs. There are a couple "how to" tutorials on how to efficiently use them. You can't smoke it like a cigarette I gather.

yep i would go up to 18mg. I keep 24mg around for bad days

The flavor and savings when you refill your own blank cartos is amazing you might look into that

The amount of cigarettes you smoked doesn't really translate into how much you vape or strength of nicotine. Light cigs work on the receptors in your brain the same way that full flavor does. The mechanism of addiction is pretty much the same regardless of what and how much you smoked. It varies from person to person.

I have just found this site and am learning a bunch. Right now I am using lecig prefilled cartos. Just jumped from the e cigs that look like analogs to a "lepig" that has a button to push when you draw on them. Will be buying empty cartos next and juice.

That's the best way to do it. They really will taste better and it's cheaper. The prefilled never seem to last as long as the ones you fill yourself. Plus, you can top them off when the juice gets low.

I am also trying to go down on nicotine. Got some 6 mg in the other day and was climbing the walls. I can switch back and forth between the 11 and 6 and be OK.

The most important thing to do when you start is to get off cigarettes. Preferably the most painless way possible. If you need a little higher to do that the first couple weeks a month, so be it. You can always reduce nicotine when your off cigs for awhile.

Yeah, I realized pretty quickly that 1 carto =/= 1 pack, no matter what they say. I also smoked 1-1.5 packs of ultra lights a day, and was going through 1-3 cartos in the same amount of time.

Are you buying your own juice and refilling? That will help save a lot of money. The prefilled cartos are more expensive.

As other have said, 11 mg probably is a little low. I tried 12 and it didn't do much for me, so I switched to 18. I will try to step down to 12 again later.

I would save those cartos and you can likely wash them out and refill them :)

They taste awful when I refill them and I get the hiccups because some of the juice gets in my mouth. How do you clean them. When I fill them some nasty brown stuff comes out. I then blow the extra out but they still taste bad.

There's lot of methods. Some people put them in boiling water, ultrasonic cleaners. The trick is to getting them dry. You could try boiling them or putting them in hot water. Shake them and blow into them to try to get the water out then let them sit a few days. They really are meant to be disposable but some people have luck washing them.

I don't really clean the smaller cartos but I'm sure someone here that does will help you out. Good luck!

Do you have a link to your new kit. Maybe if we can determine the type of battery you have we can tell you where to get blank cartomizers for it.
