It seams like a lot of the 'good tastes' are from American vendors.
Since I'm from Belgium, this makes buying eliquid very expensive, shipping cost are eating my budget!
So, I need to be extra carefull in choosing what to order, and what not.
I would like to avoid liquids that have a perfumee taste in them. I like menthol, but I don't like mint.
I welcome your advise on which liquids to start with.

Just to let you now I'm on Day 13 of vaping and no analogs (after 36 years). I'm not feeling any particular difference yet except I'm a bit croaky which has happened every time I've tried to give up analogs after a week or so. I'm hoping things will start changing around Day 28 (4 weeks). However, tonight I'm going Salsa dancing and that will be a test on my lung capacity. Last month while still on the analogs just 1 dance was a killer to my lungs!!!!

@Mindfield: No I haven't. Made a promise to mysef and my family, I'll never touch an analog again.
I'll probably forever remember it as 'better than it actually is', but that's just the way it is.
If vaping can give me some lost satisfaction back, I'll be a happy man.

I guess it will come down to finding a taste that I like.
At the moment, I'm focussed on finding an analog-like taste, but I've been reading in these posts that chances are slim that I'll actually find one. So, I'll keep an open mind and hope to get lots of advice on good-tasting and satisfying Eliquids.

Great job on a week in...
It only gets better as you improve your equipment and get juices you like, etc. Ditched my ciggie style kit and went to an EGO within two weeks myself. HUGE improvement. Hear good things about the Volt too.
As for the health issues, I have to say I lost my bedtime wheeze and the morning cough immediately. I was a 2 PAD ultra light smoker though. Maybe that makes a diff?

Congrtats to all the new vapers! I'm one too, vaping exclusively for about 5 weeks. I started with a smoketip and never looked back because I really liked the flavor. Tasted like an analog to me. I've since upgrades to larger capacity batteries, but finding liquids that I liked was a nightmare! Fruits, flowers, perfumes, soaps, yuck!! Now that Ive found backwoods brew liquids, it will be a while before I try anything else! Favorites are hunters blend, 555, and backo. To me those taste most like analogs! I still like to use my smoketip sometimes.

Very true. Half the battle is finding your "all day vape" -- a quest I don't think any of us ever stop truly searching for even after we've found ones we love. The second half of the battle is good hardware, and I think you'll be much happier with the Volt in that regard. Get both of those together and I'd be willing to bet you will be a happy man -- and a satisfied one.

Send back Greensmoke--it's expensive and if I remember Kr808d-2 so not compatable w/alot. (search for it here). GL on your journey... Remember, it's nic/time not just nic... If you need to smoke a ton then get a bit less nic and hit it more or you will just be sitting around being sad w/a nic headache from too high... As you progress, try different carto flavors (brands) or your own juice -- people react differently to each so find the combo that it easiest on your sinuses/lungs. Not all brands and flavors affect people the same. My body (sinuses/throat) hated a lot of flavors now I fill my own with juice that is gentle with good qc! (I'll spare the regular forum members from plugging the company which I do alot).

I see you're using Desert Ship so may I strongly suggest you try DK-TAB.
I don't run across many people that try DK-TAB and don't like it.

Congratulations! I also bought GreenSmoke (before I found this great forum!) I'm now 15 days in. I now know my first choice wasn't the best, and I WILL be upgrading, but I'm really glad I took that first step. I didn't intend to stop the analogs so abruptly, I still have 2 packs in my desk drawer next to a lighter, but I can honestly say they don't tempt me. I have smoked a couple while waiting for a battery to charge, but I found it to be unsatisfying. I love having a clean car and ashtray free desk, I love not having to make a trip to the convenience store for a pack, I love not spending the $8.50 every day. I'll probably keep my GS as a back-up, I figure it's already paid for itself. I can't see any health improvement yet, I guess it's gradual... I guess I cough a lot less in the morning, and even take the stairs instead of the elevator to see clients... and no weight gain, which is a plus. I put on 20 pounds when I quit cold turkey the last time (I started again after 10 years smoke free before I started the nasty habit again in 1995). ANYWAY, keep it up, you've found the right place, great support and information!
