New one for me. My 25 y/o Volvo has a cigarette lighter that when i use i my 2.0 amp charging adapter to plug in my 5 volt passthrough blows the fuse and i dont know diddly squat about any of that kind of stuff. I even have to get someone to change the fuse! So....now i need to rewire my car? Get a new cigarette lighter installed? buy a big $100 battery to use my $15.00 pass thru on the road? Jeeze Mary and joseph dang dang...and i really love this arrangement with a dripping atty! I dont mind dripping it several drops and having some near rba quality vaping for getting the most out of my WTA. Help help help! I dont wanna start a thread. Everytime i do i get 0 to 3 replies andits embarrasing

Maybe its your car's way of saying "don't drip and drive?"

You probably need to get a 1 amp adapter, the 2 amp will most likely melt the wire over time. Alternatively, one could put a higher rated fuse in your fuse box. (that is what I would do, but I can't recommend it for liability reasons ;))

(ie. replace a 2 amp fuse with a 5 amp fuse, 5 amp with a 10 amp, etc.)

Thank thank you dear! Ok.replace fuse. Oooo. Easy. Oops, melt wire over time? Back to drawing board Thanks. I do drip THEN drive.. Meaning I do a lot of short local trips. If im donig a long trip i bring several mods and my eRolls. Just dripping ahead...or in between its so worth it for the best experience. Carto vaping is kind fine for just pacifier type vaping too on an auto matic just puff puff puffing, casual no need for some thing in particular. Its all good All has its place

127 < N < 80,063) Violating one of the cardinal rules of vaping: having backups for backups, trusting a 2 month old ViVi head that's performed wonderfully to date, but knowing it's way older than it should be, and it's the only one you take to work with you, and it finally burns out at work, leaving 5 hours to go before getting home and being able to vape again.

This goes to show you, never trust a ViVi Nova.

A single good back-up is not adequate planning, IMHO. I have two batteries, an emergency eGo Twist, two bottles of juice, and two extra EVODs (complete) to go with my eVic, lavatube or Vamo (I switch up which one I carry, usually my eVic most days if I am in my office that day). This is the only way to prevent a vapor catastrophe.

I suspect you have learned your lesson well from this experience.

My friend is a former electrician for houses. He kow auto mechanics too. I called him. Hed been thinking on my problem. Were gong to find a higher votage cigarette lighter and wire it in. Its got it own fuse on this classic ( thanks, it is. Im fixing her up pretty nice too) i think ive got it covered now. Didnt know where to start! Shes navy blue. "The Brick"
Sorry. Im always random in threads. Back to the stuff now

Um, DON'T put a bigger fuse in. Fuses are there to keep the wires from burning. Last thing you

want on your classic Volvo!

The Provari is not a huge waste of money.

I have never met an owner of Provari who says that they regret the decision to do so. Every owner I have ever spoken to says (almost creepily, as if they are in a cult), "I love my Provari, it is the best, I can't live without my Provari". I personally love my eVic, which has been received by the vaping community with a mixed reaction. But rest assured, members of The Provarinati, I will be purchasing a Provari on my one year vaping anniversary.

It annoys me when people call ProVari owners cultists, but I saw this post today. I'm totally going to steal the phrase "The Provarinati," it sounds freakin' cool.

I am a proud member of The Provarinati. :)

I guess you haven't noticed my signature for the last week or so....

ETA: EddardinWinter coined that phrase, just to give credit where due.

ETAA: doink.

Not a fair contest! I'm sure Ocelots can navigate trees better than porcupines! :D

Porcupine? Oh my, I'm terribly sorry! I thought you were a hedgehog...
