Does VG need to be vaped at a higher voltage than a 70PG/30VG blend? I cannot get a throat hit on a 5v setting and also getting less vapor as well?
Thats where im getting lost Flyer. I'm getting less vapor than a 70PG/30VG blend. I vape my blend at 3.7v and get clouds. I vape the 100% VG at 5v and very little vapor production? Is that unusual?
Im using 3.0 dual coil tanks from Apollo for both my BWB Casablanca and for the AVE Boba's Bounty both being run by a SS VTube. Do you think i might need to punch another hole in the cart for the 100% VG due to its thickness ?
VG does not give much of a throat hit if any.
You should punch another hole and make it a little larger. When I use the hardware store carto punch, I turn it 1 to 2 more full turns after it pops through. Your VG juice isn't gonna make it through the tiny default ones unless you thin out your juice.
First, ditch the dual coils. They're really inefficient to begin with. That alone may put you where you expected to be. If you're not getting burnt flavor, the carto is wicking fine and another hole won't change anything.
I just asked my Smoktech rep and apparently the highest DC ohm rating is 2.0, so not sure where a 3.0 is coming from. This is a good point. The vapor will be very cool unless your pumping some massive volts/amps to it. Especially dual coils at 3 ohms. Each coil is 6 ohms each. Didnt even know they made a 3 ohm DC.

They might be combining the 1.5s and calling them 3?
