It might be english toffee flavoring. In my DIY experiments too much english toffee = burnt taste.

I agree that it might be a common ingredient or the base that is causing the experience. I have tried 6 KBV flavors and enjoyed them all with no common flavor (i.e. cinnamon or burnt). I think it has a lot to do with how we interpret the flavorings.
For instance, BWB Rootbeer tastes like a mix of Hydrogen Peroxide and White Pepper to me. My wife swears it tastes just like Rootbeer, a dead ringer. We use the same device, hell we even used the exact same cartomizer and our experience of the juice was completely different. And yet, oddly enough, it smelled like Rootbeer to both of us.
So, I don't think this review (or any review) is representative of KBV so much as this person's experience of the flavorings used by KBV. Now, if we could just create some kind of flavor interpretive grid so we can group ourselves according to how we experience flavors that would be awesome. Then we could determine things like, "Based on your flavor experience profile, you will experience these flavorings as intended while these flavorings will taste like toe jam."
I just recieved my 2nd order from KBV today. My first order consisted of Monkey Bread, Cantaloupe, KBV Candy Bar, and Carmal Capp. Monkey Bread was first in my atty and was totally awesome. I got super excited as my two previous orders from different vendors was totally a bust. I then went on to the Carmal Capp that has recieved such rave reviews. Totally not my style. I was really disappointed because I have been looking for a good "coffee" flavored joose and just can't seem to find one. Next up was KBV Candy Bar. Not bad but the nutty taste overwhelmed the other flavors. Last was the Cantaloupe. I did enjoy this one but not nearly as much as the Monkey Bread. I've read that KBV really excells in the baked goods/pastry department so decided to limit my choices in juice to that catagory since I had already tried the MB and loved it. Todays order recieved consisted of 2 big bottles of MB, Maple Frosted Rolls, Rice Krispity Treat, and Choc Covered Pretzles(not really a baked good but I just couldn't resist it.) MFR is really good but not as sweet as I had expected. Moved onto RKT next. First puff and it tasted weird to me. I did stick with it for awhile longer and I guess my taste buds adjusted because I really started to enjoy it and would now say it is in my "favorites" rotation. Then I tried the CCP. Wait a minute, I think I just grabbed my old bottle of Carmal Capp because it tastes exactly like that did. Then I realized "nope, this is the CCP bottle" As you can see, I don't much care for that one either. Anyways, I'll take 2 out of 3 all day long especially when one of them jumps into my favorites rotation. As far as customer service and quickness of shipping....KBV is top notch. There are none better. Basically, I've come to the realization that one is never going to like every flavor that a vendor produces. It just isn't going to happen. With that being said, I would recommend KBV to anyone looking for joose with out of the ordinary flavors. I'm so tired of tobacco or simple fruit juices like watermelon, grape, etc. Everyone has those. I want something unique and KBV provides that more than any other vendor I've tried.
I've got a big lot coming from juicyvapor right now too. I'll let you guys and gals know what I think next week early on, when they arrive.
Well after pretty much unanimously reading about these guys, and with my love of dessert flavors I decided to go ahead and shell some money out for some new juice. I had read that their flavors were a bit subtle, so on the flavors I really wanted to try I added double flavor. Now, when I first got my order in there was a hand written note that told me I'd need to steep my double flavors for a little extra time. I'm fine with that, and I wasn't in any hurry to actually vape any of these out of the mailbox - so I let them all sit for a full week and a half, shaking each bottle daily.
What my order contained (all of the non double flavors were samples):
12mg Monkey Bread
12mg KBV Candy Bar
12mg Maple Frosted Rolls
12mg Chocolate Covered Pretzels
12mg Skipping Stones
12mg Pear Cinnamon Danish (a Yssim DIY)
12mg Pumpkin Roll
12mg Pineapple Shake
12mg Rice Crispity Treat (Double Flavor)
12mg Strawberry Pie (Double Flavor)
12mg Warm Sugar Cookie (Double Flavor)

Now, to get down to business. Keep in mind I am not as great as some of you at depicting 5 different flavors out of juices. Usually I get 2-3 at max. Also, I tried every single one of these flavors out at both 3.7v and 6v.
Monkey Bread - Well, I was pleasantly surprised with this one, as it was the first juice I had. A nice sweet bread, with subtle cinnamon in there. I like it, but it was a tad subtle for me.
KBV Candy Bar - Now, I wish I would have ordered 30ml of this because this juice, out of them all, tasted the best by far. Tastes like chocolate, toffee, and peanuts and is delicious. Out of all of the KBV juice I had this one I actually recommend.
Maple Frosted Rolls - I didn't get very much flavor out of this at all, I got a slight burnt taste and it was pretty disgusting. Tasted almost like a dry atty, but not as strong (I made sure this wasn't the case by flooding my atty the second time I tried to take a hit and it continued to have the same taste).
Chocolate Covered Pretzels - Tasted like salty chocolate, but it had that undertone of a burnt taste again. It made me off to the juice, so I stopped vaping it after 2-3 tries at making sure I wasn't having too dry of an atty.
Skipping Stones - A butterscotch flavor from what I had read on the site, it did pretty good justice to the butterscotch flavor that was there. But again, it had this burnt taste to it - almost like a burnt cinnamon or blackened sugar. After vaping this one, I was starting to get disappointed at this lingering burnt taste that had been in the juice.
Pear Cinnamon Danish - I actually thought this one did justice again, but I do not believe they sell this flavor - I actually got this one in a Pay-It-Forward. I don't like pear all that much, but it was quite tasty.
Pumpkin Roll - Again, this did awesome justice to the flavor of what I would imagine a pumpkin roll to taste like (and I do like pumpkin), but it had that burnt undertone to it which just made me feel sick to my stomach if I were to take more than 2-3 vapes of it at a time.
Pineapple Shake - I honestly don't even know how to describe this juice, it is possibly the worst tasting juice I could have ever tried and I highly do not recommend this juice. It tastes worst than a burnt atomizer, I couldn't even take more than 2 vapes of it and I haven't touched it since.
Rice Crispity Treat - This is the one juice I was really really looking forward to try after reading all the reviews. I smelt it before dripping and it smelled delicious. I mean, it made me want to make some air freshener out of this smell it was so good. But despite what it smelled like, it was my least favorite of all of the KBV juice I had tried. That burnt atty undertone I had in the other juices? This one was spot on that flavor but full on and in the forefront. I tried multiple times over 3 days to keep trying it, but it had the same flavor and it did not change. It's almost like an extremely burnt cinnamon mixed with a dry atty, it's the best description I can give.
Strawberry Pie - This one was quite tasty too. The strawberries didn't taste syrupy buy more like a fresh, crisp strawberry. I didn't get too much of the pastry, even at 6v but it was tasty nonetheless. Reminded me of BwB's strawberry actually.
Warm Sugar Cookie - Sadly, this one was another flavor I was really looking forward to trying, but again it tasted like burnt cinnamon/burnt atty in the forefront. A little less subtle then the wretched juice that the Rice Crispity Treat turned out to be, it actually had a slight cookie flavor in the background. I could not continue to vape it though, due to the flavors in the forefront.
------------
Keep in mind, I did try these on several atties, so I do know that my hardware was not to blame here. I was highly disappointed with the KBV juice I got - especially after hearing such great reviews. Maybe my taste buds are off, and I actually thought they were on the Rice Crispity Treat and Sugar Cookie but I made my roommates and neighbor that vapes try it and they all agreed with me that it did in fact taste like a burnt atty.
So out of pretty much all of those flavors I tried, I would only highly recommend the KBV Candy Bar. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again, but to each his own. I know a lot of you guys side with them.

Edit: Just to give you an idea on what I had vaped the juice on, in regard to a standard 510 on 3.7v:
3.7v @ 2.5ohm (standard 510) - 5.476 watts
3.2v (eGo) @ 1.5 ohm - 6.82667 watts
3.7v @ 1.5ohm - 9.12667 watts
6v @ 3.5ohm - 10.28571 watts
6v @ 4.2ohm - 8.57143 watts
I just can't get satisfaction at 5-8 watts, but I did try it on my eGo which is in that range and it seems that it shouldn't have tasted burnt but it still did.
