I agree that it might be a common ingredient or the base that is causing the experience. I have tried 6 KBV flavors and enjoyed them all with no common flavor (i.e. cinnamon or burnt). I think it has a lot to do with how we interpret the flavorings.

For instance, BWB Rootbeer tastes like a mix of Hydrogen Peroxide and White Pepper to me. My wife swears it tastes just like Rootbeer, a dead ringer. We use the same device, hell we even used the exact same cartomizer and our experience of the juice was completely different. And yet, oddly enough, it smelled like Rootbeer to both of us.

So, I don't think this review (or any review) is representative of KBV so much as this person's experience of the flavorings used by KBV. Now, if we could just create some kind of flavor interpretive grid so we can group ourselves according to how we experience flavors that would be awesome. Then we could determine things like, "Based on your flavor experience profile, you will experience these flavorings as intended while these flavorings will taste like toe jam."

+1 ^^^ My husband and I have totally different taste palates as well! It is frustrating because it would be so economical to be able to buy our juices in bulk from the same vendor to share. However, like another person this thread said, at least we all have a variety of vendors to choose from!

last week i ordered OMG, candybar, and caramel capp, also got a beta sample of pineapple upside down cake. out of the box, the omg was pretty good, the candy bar i couldnt tell if i liked it or not, and the caramel capp honestly tasted really bad. the strange thing is that they all smell great. like others have said taste is subjective so im not in anyway putting kbv down, i honestly want to love this juice because theyre such an awesome vendor, unfortunately my tastebuds just arent liking the juice much. i put them away to steep, havent touched them since other then to shake or smell the bottles. hopefully when i try them again theyre better.

I just tried five of KBV's flavors. be oh Be's OMG, WTF (the joose), Caramel Cappuccino, Strawberry Pie, and Jolly Ranger Green Apple. All were at 8mg, 40% PG / 60% VG, with extra flavoring (2x). I normally vape 12 to 18 mg.
I only tried them at 6 volts in my Prodigy V3.1, with freshly cleaned (not new) BE112 SR atty's. They're a bit thick for cartos, so I'm just dripping them through a drip tip while at home.

All five of these juices are what I call "subtle blends". I have vaped several of the AVE juices like Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice, and Strawberry Cooler that I would put into this category. If anyone is looking for a frame of reference. The flavor mixture simply does not jump out and bite you on these. I am finding that this type of juice makes a perfect late night "all night vape" and/or early morning vape. I get incredible taste combinations from all of them. But, always find myself wishing there was "just a tad more" flavor coming out of them. I find this ironic, as I nervously ordered them with extra flavoring. They do a really good of getting a mixture that still whispers the individual tastes to you. That said, make sure to order all of these with extra flavoring. You don't need to worry about it being too much. I can't even imagine going with only single flavor on this set of juices. If you're looking for something that jumps all over your tastebuds, you might need to look somewhere else for your juices. However, if you like a laid back, complicated, subtle "all day vape" (in my case "all nite vape"), you're going to love their line of juices.

I also want to comment briefly on service. I was amazed at how quickly they got my juices to me. By far the most courteous, customer friendly vendor that I have bought from. They even write you a personalized "Thank You" by hand on decorative paper to enclose with your order. You can trust this vendor to get you what you ordered in a very fast and genuinely friendly manner.

OK... on to the tastes:

1) be oh Be's OMG
This is my new nightly "late nite vape". I get this "OMG... what the hell is in here" every time I start vaping it. Then about 10 toots into the session, I can start naming the individual tastes in the blend. Well, more like guessing at them. They hang out there on the perimeter. Never quite landing full force on your tastebuds. I could see how five people could vape this one together, on the same hardware, at the same voltage, and describe a different set of flavors. Rather than give you my list. I'm going to encourage you to try this one yourself. If you want what I've described as the main characteristics of this juice line (subtle, complicated, synergistic, etc.), I guarantee you will not end up with buyer's remorse on this one. It is simply impossible to get tired of it. Never too strong and will have you doubting your own descriptions, pretty much every time you take another toot. Very nice job on this one. It goes into my vape kit for sure and will be tough for me not to reorder, even before it is completely gone.

2) Jolly Ranger Green Apple
This is the only one of the five that I could say I really didn't like much. When I ordered it, I envisioned sour apple like a real Jolly Rancher. This is subdued like the others. But, what is there is not sour apple for me. It's more like what always seems to happen with the cherry flavors for me. It tastes like what an apple coughdrop would probably taste like to me. I order one "sourish" flavor from every new vendor that I try, in search of one that has one that tastes like a real sour fruit to me. Maybe my taste buds just aren't capable of getting that from a juice? But, I'm going to keep trying until I find one. This one, was not "the one" for me. I'm going to let it steep a while and see if anything changes and will give it a shot at 3.7v and 5v later too.

3)Strawberry Pie
Again, subdued flavors. I find this one to be very well blended. You get decent strawberry and way out there on the fringe, I pick-up the crust. I'm not kidding, it's like a wisp of grandma's flaky, buttery pie crust. Weird for me the way it just sits out there at the edge of the main strawberry flavor. I vaped this quite a bit while I was trying to put my finger on the crust component. I have put it away to try the others and don't find myself in a big hurry to get back to it. But, I would have to say it is the best "fruit" flavored juice I have tried so far and among my top 10 finishers in the "dessert" class.

4)Caramel Cappuccino
Again, not a bold juice. But it delivers what is advertised. I'm vaping this as I write this. The caramel is there. So is the cappuccino. The cappuccino sits behind the caramel, instead of the other way around. This is another brilliant balancing act. But, again, I have 2x flavor on these and it is such a light airy taste. Still, this is something I am going to vape in the mornings with my coffee and at my desk well into the morning. Maybe it's time to put away the PS Curtis' Coffee? Yes, I think it is. I hereby pronounce this my new "All Morning Vape"!

5)WTF (the joose)
Haven't tried this one yet. I'm going to work the Caramel Cappuccino a while longer and get back to you all on the WTF. I'm expecting it to be something that I will want to explore a while before I yap on it anyway. Kind of like the Strawberry Pie and the OMG.

I have already decided that I am going to give several more of the KBV flavors a try. Of the four I have tried, three were definitely worthy and one is steeping as a no-go, so far. I have to say that I can't name another vendor that I have had a 75% GO to NO-GO with yet. Not to mention that I just put away a morning staple for one of them. Keep up the great work KBV!

letting this juice steep is key. i got an order last week, born on date for all bottles is 3/18. i was not impressed by any of them the first day. the only one i could see myself vaping occasionally is the OMG. i let them steep until today. these are really great now.

the candy bar has really come to life, its a very complex flavor that i get a nutty, chocolaty, caramely, buttery flavor out of. surprisingly this juice is not very sweet and i think that and the need to steep to bring the flavors out is what threw me off the first day. i can see myself vaping this often now.

the OMG has really really improved. at first i wasnt getting much flavor out of this, now its really complex and the flavors fully there. it is the smoothest juice ive ever vaped and easily one of the best ive tried. when i exhale the vapor, i feel like i just took a huge sip of the tastiest milk shake on earth, thats the best way i can describe it. the flavor is hard to pinpoint, i definitely taste vanilla, theres other flavors in there and i cant figure them out, possibly toffee, caramel, a little butterscotch? all of them? im vaping this right now and its blowing my mind confusing the hell out of me, i cant put it down, its amazing. by the way, this one is sweeter then the candy bar, but by no means too sweet, just perfect. i will be ordering a 30ml bottle of this and by the time it gets here this 15ml bottle will be long gone. this is easily an all day vape for me, and to think i considered trading or selling all of these juices?!

tomorrow i will give caramel capp a second chance, which was the one i liked the least on the first day (actually didnt like it at all).

so in conclusion, if your not happy with the juice, let it steep. i should have seen this coming because a few weeks ago i ordered wtf and didnt like that at first either. of coarse, after giving it a week i couldnt put it down. i think i just really wanted to be amazed with this stuff right away, sometimes that just isnt the case. im so impatient with new juice, but im building up quite a large selection so im getting better with that. ive completely changed my mind on KBVs stuff, i will be a return customer.

I'm vaping the WTF while I watch the live feed of Vapefest on Vape TV. This is a vape that you stay with all night. You really have to reach to get the flavors on this one. They dance around on the periphery and nothing is so strong as to dominate the taste all by itself. "WTF" is the perfect name for this one. I dare anybody to replicate this one. It just can't be done. I'm guessing that KBV discovered this one while experimenting with an odd set of flavors.

I'm not putting this one in my vape kit. But, I'm going to finish out the night with it and come back to it soon for a reprise. That's four GO's to one NOGO. It's not very often that I get an 80% success rate on my first order from a new vendor. I'm officially impressed. And I replaced my all morning vape to boot. Remember to get the extra flavoring on whatever you order and you probably can't go wrong, especially if you're looking for laid back, complicated flavor combinations.

Vape Well Everyone.

I just recieved my 2nd order from KBV today. My first order consisted of Monkey Bread, Cantaloupe, KBV Candy Bar, and Carmal Capp. Monkey Bread was first in my atty and was totally awesome. I got super excited as my two previous orders from different vendors was totally a bust. I then went on to the Carmal Capp that has recieved such rave reviews. Totally not my style. I was really disappointed because I have been looking for a good "coffee" flavored joose and just can't seem to find one. Next up was KBV Candy Bar. Not bad but the nutty taste overwhelmed the other flavors. Last was the Cantaloupe. I did enjoy this one but not nearly as much as the Monkey Bread. I've read that KBV really excells in the baked goods/pastry department so decided to limit my choices in juice to that catagory since I had already tried the MB and loved it. Todays order recieved consisted of 2 big bottles of MB, Maple Frosted Rolls, Rice Krispity Treat, and Choc Covered Pretzles(not really a baked good but I just couldn't resist it.) MFR is really good but not as sweet as I had expected. Moved onto RKT next. First puff and it tasted weird to me. I did stick with it for awhile longer and I guess my taste buds adjusted because I really started to enjoy it and would now say it is in my "favorites" rotation. Then I tried the CCP. Wait a minute, I think I just grabbed my old bottle of Carmal Capp because it tastes exactly like that did. Then I realized "nope, this is the CCP bottle" As you can see, I don't much care for that one either. Anyways, I'll take 2 out of 3 all day long especially when one of them jumps into my favorites rotation. As far as customer service and quickness of shipping....KBV is top notch. There are none better. Basically, I've come to the realization that one is never going to like every flavor that a vendor produces. It just isn't going to happen. With that being said, I would recommend KBV to anyone looking for joose with out of the ordinary flavors. I'm so tired of tobacco or simple fruit juices like watermelon, grape, etc. Everyone has those. I want something unique and KBV provides that more than any other vendor I've tried.

If you're liking KBV's juices, I can wholeheartedly recommend tastyvapor.us to you too. Very complicated and IMO "spot on" flavors there too. The only thing that makes TV harder to try is that they don't have the smaller, cheaper, sample bottles. You have to buy a full one ounce bottle to shop there. That said, I haven't gotten a flavor from them yet that I "hated". So none will go to waste here. It's like you said, tastes vary and some of their flavors are just not my style. I am always able to say "yuppers... that's what it says on the label" when I have vaped them.

I've got a big lot coming from juicyvapor right now too. I'll let you guys and gals know what I think next week early on, when they arrive.

I've used Juicy Vapor on and off for months. They make good juice, but they are quite a bit more expensive than everyone else. And, their 18ml bottles are really 15ml bottles. At least the other companies I order from label them as 15ml and they are the exact same bottles.

Well after pretty much unanimously reading about these guys, and with my love of dessert flavors I decided to go ahead and shell some money out for some new juice. I had read that their flavors were a bit subtle, so on the flavors I really wanted to try I added double flavor. Now, when I first got my order in there was a hand written note that told me I'd need to steep my double flavors for a little extra time. I'm fine with that, and I wasn't in any hurry to actually vape any of these out of the mailbox - so I let them all sit for a full week and a half, shaking each bottle daily.

What my order contained (all of the non double flavors were samples):
12mg Monkey Bread
12mg KBV Candy Bar
12mg Maple Frosted Rolls
12mg Chocolate Covered Pretzels
12mg Skipping Stones
12mg Pear Cinnamon Danish (a Yssim DIY)
12mg Pumpkin Roll
12mg Pineapple Shake
12mg Rice Crispity Treat (Double Flavor)
12mg Strawberry Pie (Double Flavor)
12mg Warm Sugar Cookie (Double Flavor)

------------

Now, to get down to business. Keep in mind I am not as great as some of you at depicting 5 different flavors out of juices. Usually I get 2-3 at max. Also, I tried every single one of these flavors out at both 3.7v and 6v.

Monkey Bread - Well, I was pleasantly surprised with this one, as it was the first juice I had. A nice sweet bread, with subtle cinnamon in there. I like it, but it was a tad subtle for me.

KBV Candy Bar - Now, I wish I would have ordered 30ml of this because this juice, out of them all, tasted the best by far. Tastes like chocolate, toffee, and peanuts and is delicious. Out of all of the KBV juice I had this one I actually recommend.

Maple Frosted Rolls - I didn't get very much flavor out of this at all, I got a slight burnt taste and it was pretty disgusting. Tasted almost like a dry atty, but not as strong (I made sure this wasn't the case by flooding my atty the second time I tried to take a hit and it continued to have the same taste).

Chocolate Covered Pretzels - Tasted like salty chocolate, but it had that undertone of a burnt taste again. It made me off to the juice, so I stopped vaping it after 2-3 tries at making sure I wasn't having too dry of an atty.

Skipping Stones - A butterscotch flavor from what I had read on the site, it did pretty good justice to the butterscotch flavor that was there. But again, it had this burnt taste to it - almost like a burnt cinnamon or blackened sugar. After vaping this one, I was starting to get disappointed at this lingering burnt taste that had been in the juice.

Pear Cinnamon Danish - I actually thought this one did justice again, but I do not believe they sell this flavor - I actually got this one in a Pay-It-Forward. I don't like pear all that much, but it was quite tasty.

Pumpkin Roll - Again, this did awesome justice to the flavor of what I would imagine a pumpkin roll to taste like (and I do like pumpkin), but it had that burnt undertone to it which just made me feel sick to my stomach if I were to take more than 2-3 vapes of it at a time.

Pineapple Shake - I honestly don't even know how to describe this juice, it is possibly the worst tasting juice I could have ever tried and I highly do not recommend this juice. It tastes worst than a burnt atomizer, I couldn't even take more than 2 vapes of it and I haven't touched it since.

Rice Crispity Treat - This is the one juice I was really really looking forward to try after reading all the reviews. I smelt it before dripping and it smelled delicious. I mean, it made me want to make some air freshener out of this smell it was so good. But despite what it smelled like, it was my least favorite of all of the KBV juice I had tried. That burnt atty undertone I had in the other juices? This one was spot on that flavor but full on and in the forefront. I tried multiple times over 3 days to keep trying it, but it had the same flavor and it did not change. It's almost like an extremely burnt cinnamon mixed with a dry atty, it's the best description I can give.

Strawberry Pie - This one was quite tasty too. The strawberries didn't taste syrupy buy more like a fresh, crisp strawberry. I didn't get too much of the pastry, even at 6v but it was tasty nonetheless. Reminded me of BwB's strawberry actually.

Warm Sugar Cookie - Sadly, this one was another flavor I was really looking forward to trying, but again it tasted like burnt cinnamon/burnt atty in the forefront. A little less subtle then the wretched juice that the Rice Crispity Treat turned out to be, it actually had a slight cookie flavor in the background. I could not continue to vape it though, due to the flavors in the forefront.

------------

Keep in mind, I did try these on several atties, so I do know that my hardware was not to blame here. I was highly disappointed with the KBV juice I got - especially after hearing such great reviews. Maybe my taste buds are off, and I actually thought they were on the Rice Crispity Treat and Sugar Cookie but I made my roommates and neighbor that vapes try it and they all agreed with me that it did in fact taste like a burnt atty.

So out of pretty much all of those flavors I tried, I would only highly recommend the KBV Candy Bar. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again, but to each his own. I know a lot of you guys side with them.

------------

Edit: Just to give you an idea on what I had vaped the juice on, in regard to a standard 510 on 3.7v:

3.7v @ 2.5ohm (standard 510) - 5.476 watts

3.2v (eGo) @ 1.5 ohm - 6.82667 watts
3.7v @ 1.5ohm - 9.12667 watts
6v @ 3.5ohm - 10.28571 watts
6v @ 4.2ohm - 8.57143 watts

I just can't get satisfaction at 5-8 watts, but I did try it on my eGo which is in that range and it seems that it shouldn't have tasted burnt but it still did.

I am really tempted to send you some Rice Krispy Treat out of my own stash to see what you think. That is my absolute #1 flavor of all time. It's my all day vape! I have gone through about 3 30ML bottles of it so far and never had any kind of burnt taste, nor have I with any of the other flavors from KBV. If you want, PM me with an address and let me send you a sample out of my Rice Krispy Treat (I too vape 12mg). It's got to be one of two things, one there is some kind of underlying hardware issue, or two there's an issue with that particular bottle. But if you got that burnt flavor in multiple juices I would be more likely to think that there is some sort of issue with the hardware. I have literally not ordered from another vendor since KBV because I have been so impressed with there jooses. My last shipment was of 15 bottles of joose! lol If you want just for the hell of it send me your address and let me send you a sample of the Rice Krispy Treat to see if you get the same taste out of it. I literally ordered 60MLS of RKT in my last order just because I don't want to run out of it!! Let me know if you want me to send it to you, now I'm really curious for you to try it out of another bottle because I've never gotten any kind of burnt taste out of it unless I had a crappy or dry atty.

Thanks,

Chris
