what does the ticket say the offense is? smoking in a public place?

yes.

I'm going to give it over to my brother-in-law who is an ex cop/traffic ticket guy.

I was vaping my Chuck but in no way was I in your face about it and I was holding in the vapor to minimize the plumes. No one complained and no manager asked me to stop.

Not to worried that it wont get tossed by the prosecuter.

damn for a supplier you sure have a way with people switched.

My status does not permit me to say what I really want to, but then again you don't know where I come from since you have decided to walk in like a bull in a China shop. Should you choose not to buy my product because a difference in opinion so be it.

The point I am trying to convey is that we go around the same circle every 3 months or so. It gets tiresome after a while. Then folks have the audacity to wonder why no experienced vapers answer post. I have been following the latest tirade and have nothing to offer those who seem to have all the angles covered with their vast experience in vaping and the intricacies of the points of law. So I bow to the latest knowledgeable people in presence.

.....the ticket will not just disappear.
I've actually had two tickets "disappear" ... one was for driving with insurance .. I was driving a friends car and they didn't leave the insurance slip in the glovebox. So I got two tickets.. one for no insurance and one for no ownership.

I filed to dispute the tickets and never heard back....

That was 4-5 years ago and i've been pulled over since a few times.. so there's definitely no warrant..

Sometimes they do just give up on BS

I totally accpet your difference of opinon, but the way you went about it is totally uncalled for. I wrote Jack

Thanks you switched

I am sorry if I offended you in any way. Is the latter part of your statement suppose to impress me and send me cowering into a corner? Show me anyone else in Canada that has stepped up to the plate with a local product. I am not trying to be conceited or facetious but... seriously. I suggest before you continue on your tirade to earn some brownie points and walk around the block a couple of times while acquiring T-shirts

That kinda sucks for you.

I tend to follow the self-imposed rule:
Don't vape where others can't smoke.

This is actually a good motto to live by.

Either vaping is legal and there several people just vaping away or it isn't.
There is no such thing as stealth tobacco because it lingers.
To the rest of the un-informed world...e-cigs are smoking.

We live at a crossroads. Soon enough the letter of the law will be written for e-cigs.
The writing is on the wall with nic prohibition, confiscation, and soon-to-be sin taxes.

By not being blatant, I think we can delay the inevitable.
Otherwise, every time a do-gooder sees or hears about a vaping incident, it will become their top priority to do something about it.
I know that is a naive statement. However, it seems everyone outside of this forum doesn't understand the freedom from tobacco this has given us...especially the cop. Now you get to explain yourself to a judge.
Maybe you'll win, but most likely, this will create more publicity and will be read by more uneducated rule makers deciding our fate based off of a one-sided newspaper article.

Good luck with the fine. Report back on how it goes down.
