Got 4 new batteries and a mod a couple days ago. While waiting for the first battery to charge I got impatient so I stuck the used up the little charge that was in the fresh unused batteries that were waiting to go on the charger. It wasnt until the next day I found out you should charge up new batteries. The batteries appear to work ok but will they crap out early because of what I did? Or is it not that big a deal

Not that big of a deal. The batteries that we use for vaping are Li-ion lithium batteries, which have no "memory". Other chemistry batteries, such as Nickle Cadmium, have "memory" and had to be fully drained of their charge before re-charging them.

You can use Li-ion batteries no matter what state of charge they have, as long as the voltage is not lower than 2.5 volts.
