1st MECH Mod: What is the "Mutation X" of the mech world?

As far as rda's go, the Mutation X is a fantastic rda. It's inexpensive, authentic, great airflow and flavor, etc. It's a no brainer at the cost of $25 shipped.

I have been using an IPV2 with the Mutation X, and want to get another battery for my kayfun and a second dripper.

What are the most popular, great value mech mods?

For some reason, I am really craving a copper mech with copper head. Aside from the Kayfun, I'm leaning towards the Magma RDA by Infinite for my second RDA to plop on top of it. For this reason, stainless / silver would be probably be my best bet ;\

Ah dang. Out of my price range at the moment. I'm going to DIY soon so I gotta pick up those supplies. I was hoping there was one around $50 or less.

I've had a good experience with the Infinite clones. They're a little bit pricier than the other clones from Tobeco & Hcigar, but Infinite generally have much better quality and are closer to 1:1.

FWIW, I've been very happy with my HCigar Copper Nemesis clone (w/ magnets and upgraded contacts) that I probably spent right around $50 total on.

That being said, definitely eying the Super T Workhorse as my next purchase.

I've been pretty impressed with my SXK/Infinite Stingray X clone. It's not perfect, the polished smooth locking is hard to manipulate and the edges are sharp as hell between the button and locking ring. But it hits nicely and fits every atty I've tried on it. Came with a nice drip tip, too. I got mine for $43 at vaping walrus.

I would suggest going with a stainless mod for your first mech. Copper and Brass are easy to dent if you drop it and both require polishing and maintenance about once a week. Stainless is going to be more durable and less fuss.

Once you get the bug for a second mech and know what features you want, pull the trigger on a nicer copper mod.

For stainless steel I can't say enough good things about the Super T Work horse. I love mine. Performs great, not a clone and made right here in the US of A.

CCI came out with a copper mod. I haven't seen one in person but I think it's in your price range & it's not a clone, though it is pretty much a Panzer ?

A bit off topic but.... If you like the Mutation X for the price, you may want to check out the Sig S atty. It's an authentic, quality, atty for $15. It's not going to win any awards for originality, but it does a heckuva job for the price!

I went to a local vape shop and came to the realization that there are better, more powerful batteries than the 18650. What are they called and is there a cheap modnthat uses them? I love battery life over power =)
