just want to share my thought after 2 years.
first of all excuse my bad english, i think not that bad, my main point is let new vapers how the long run is going on me.
ok lets start, so far its being the only way to stay out of cigarettes anyone can look my history here and see. was not a one day quit but i manage to quit smoking, there are some cons for me not that bad as still smoking but still there and is a matter how you look at that. for me was the issue that vaping just become a hobby and i was in the RC hobby and was like 2 hobbies at same time, just let focus on vaping, I inmadiatly start to accept vaping but keep me all time searching on the net for new products and i want everything i can affort. some like me?
So... i started with blu and was not enough and i was smoking and blu...ing but not quiting. i know that there was a solution so i keep searching and found this forum (thanks ECF) and learn quickly a lot so inmediatly I ordered a APV (Advance Personal Vaporizer) or a so called MOD wich I get familiarized with the word MOD since in the RC hobby i used a lot too. was a Vamo and when i received with a vivi nova (wow yea a vivi nova) that was thw best thing ever, i just stop smoking the first day i got my VAMO and the bad was as a new hobby i started to ordered a lot of thing i get lots of MODs like sigelei, evic, smok etc... all of them was keeping me out of smoke but my money was not seeing the diference.. yeah a lot of you understand me.. i become a little obsses with this and reading the Provari was the god of the MODs I ordered one. for sure was o thest mod when i received and become my all day mod quickly and soon all of the chinese mod start to die so my provari was my only reliable way to vape.
after a year of vaping i was no longer interested in vaping as a hobby since i was still intersted in my real Hobby Remote Control wich right now im living from that as a Drone specialist but at the moment i was with all my chinese mods dead less my provari si i decide to ordered a backup mod, a lot of 26600 tube mods were the order of the day and i really didnt liked the size of those big di ld os i keep searching and found the original istick 20w box mod, soon i start to liked because the simplicity, size and ease of use and powerfull compered with what i was used to. (just note i was a fan of pbusardo reviews at the moment) i mention this because i was very picky for prescition and numbers on devices, was to expect from a RC hibbyist and the provari was giving all the numbers and constant vape i want. after ordering the istick as i told ya i was not anymore into a vaper geek and i didnt watch any review for this, i just start to used and soon i realize that i was using my istick more than my provari because for the provari i need to keep charging batteries in a charger and the istick just a USB (found everywere) pluged and vape, was a super thumb up for me and the vape was consistent (not accurate by number) but consisten. what i mean with this? that i was vaping so in love with my istick untill i saw pbusardo video, huh what .... ok lets explain my vape was awesome if i want more just crank up if i want less just crank down and the vape was the same at the selected level all way battery down just like my 8 times cost provari with advantage of usb charging size portability and use and very soon becomes my all day vape and the provari went into the backup device. and for month i love the i stick but whe i saw the review of the istick with pbusardo i found that was not an accurate device as my provari that mean was not delivering what was programed to but since i was not a vape geek anymore i was not paying attention on numbers and just on vape by taste,
lets step into tanks and atomizer now, i started with cleoromizer, ego style and viv nova style soon protank came in and that was doing the job, i did start using rba's with bad experience using genesis style tank but i was fiddling all day with them untill the Kayfun born, i did ordered my forst kayfun style when the russian 99% came in and that was the boom for me i was only using my russian on my provari (still no istick yet) provari + russian 99% was by far the best vape i was getting untill istick came in (again) with the i stick i ordered my first kanger subohm mini tank and hell yeah that sub tank was awesome just like my russian99% and istick + subtank become my favorite vape setup, no more rebuild, no more fiddeling, no more nothing just fill and vape the head of the subtank was lasting on me 2-3 weeks vaping a full tank daily so that was a game change for me and since i was not a vape geek anymore i found i was more satisfied with istick+subtank over provari+russian 99%
now the conclusion.
i found that the more important thing is that how you like how the device is vaping for you, dont pay attention to number when you can crank up and down, just look for a device that can vape the same on a same seting all the way down on the battery level, for me is more important ergonomic, portability and easy of use over number accuracy and you will find this on the long run. if a 30 buck device meet your needs that the one you need, remeber they wont last for life so cheap consistent device is a very good way to go like the many ones out there (istick, evic vtc mini, etc....) this thecnology is growing fast so a cheap device can be replaced with a new version without too much. istick $30 provari $200
no more boring stuff, here my recomendetion for the noobs..
Juices.
since i start i try a lot of juices vendors, hands down the winner is MT-Baker-Vapor the cheapest prices and the juices, quality, customer services are the best.
Devices.
right now i have an
istick tc 40w topped with a joy ego1 subtank
istick 30w topped with a kanger subtank mini
both setups are exellent, good flavor and awesome vapor and the joy ego1 with TC and replacable head is a very good way to start on TC easy, but honestly I still prefer the 30w topped with subtank.
