If you are going to be doing a lot of twisting, these are heaven...

http://www.harborfreight.com/9-inch-safety-wire-twisting-pliers-45341.html

You could also chuck an eyebolt in a drill and twist a foot at a time. Tension is key, and go slow. Temper with flame after the twist to avoid too much spring back.
You can also use a pin vice /vise, incredibly easy to use:

that could be explained by people waiting for their pms as it is usually done ........... anybody who did not follow this thread wouldn't know the procedure was streamlined.
if you publish the list maybe we all can send a few pms each with instructions on how to pay.

Here is the original list I just finished updating it.

FTR, I stopped marking everyone as "paid" and just did "shipped". They are one in the same

I'm using the ody for the most part, and trying to avoid fiddling with dual coils. I'm pretty sure the Ω/ft. on the 28 will solve that problem, as basically I just want a 1Ω coild. Still have miles of the 32, though. You have a link describing braiding? i.e. any particular method of twisting them together?

Dual coils are unnecessary and a lot of work. Just braid/twist the wire together. 1/4 of the time, same result. Or use 28ga. :D

Kwalka and SanJosse, I did consider sending you two a PM about this, but since we are still MAYBE in a voting mood, I figured lets see what5 "The People" think.

I myself have never had a problem with asking for or accepting help. I do have a problem when the guy on my left shoulder says ":nun:stop taking advantage of people" and the guy on my right shoulder says ":evil:Screw 'em".
Kwalka, SanJosse and your helper(s). I vote that you AT LEAST raise the price by .25 to.50. Now if you have already factored in a few extra cents, I don't see it. This is taking a lot of time, energy, thought, planning, typing, keeping the spreadsheet secure, updated, answering all of the questions on this thread, wrapping, packing, and probably even gas to get these things to the Post Office. Not to mention IF you do take these to the PO, if you have to stand in line so they can check each package........JEEEEEZE,

I vote that you get something for your time and work. I want to be put on every list, every time, TFN. IF AND I DO MEAN IF, you continue to do this. It is gonna get old fast and unless you get SOMETHING besides a hundred "Thank You Very Much"s" it is gonna be too easy to just one day say, "I AM DONE"

Hell, turn it into a smalll "RBA wick, wire and mesh shop and sell to those other vendors selling the RBA's. I know of one that "MIGHT" like I said "MIGHT" be interested in something like that. Or, just keep doing what you're doing, charge a few extra cents so you make something and we'll plaster you all over the damned forums. All of them.

Personally the guy on my left shoulder just asked me "What's the big deal? $2.15 or $2.65, or $2.15 and $3.15 plus PAINPAL's cut? If everybody here had the knowledge, time and (Speaking for myself here because I am LAZY) initiative, we wouldn't NEED you guys. 1st rule of business, Find a need, then fill it.

If anyone agrees, hit the like button. If not, speak up. If it doesn't go through, do like I will next time, I will throw an extra 50 cents in the next payment. I wouldn't suggest any more than 50 cents to $1 right now because before you know it, he's rich and we're out a good supplier.

ah, tully, you misunderstood! you've got a couple of guys here who love to pay it forward for whatever reason. they don't want to become suppliers, they enjoy helping fellow vapers! some do this by answering questions, others pif, then you have those who run co-ops. and on top of all those you have a fellow named kwalka who carries it even further ................
let's not spoil his fun ;)
we all were free to give a couple of extra bucks to help ken carry on if he so desires, or to just, plain and simple, show our appreciation.

I understand that Ken is doing this out of the kindness of his heart & of care/concern for the well-being of the vaping community. That said, when I sent my payment, I sent a token of my appreciation. Yeah, it was more than a dollar... but it was well worth it to me. I wanted to show that I appreciated it in more than words.

The main thing is I have found out that I am not the only one who TRULY appreciate what they are doing. For a lot of us, Pay it Forward IS much much more than a movie or a slogan. I will not toot my own horn but I was taught very early in life that Karma does exist, inside us all. What I do mostly benefits animal rescue which in turn sometimes turns into a rescued family.

These guys also are humble enough that they will not toot their own horns also. So I wanted to toot it for them. TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT, HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK!

In my defense, I have seen people take advantage of these situations and one bad apple CAN and will spoil the whole bushel. I don't believe I misunderstood, I just don't think a lot of those using his service realize the effort they are putting into this. It has turned into almost a full fledged business with purchasing, receiving, re-packaging, shipping, bookkeeping with accounts receivable and accounts payable. That is more than most of us would be able to do so I wanted to make sure EVERYONE understands what it takes for them to do this.

Thank you for responding. My concerns were for their non-vaping lives. What are they sacrificing to help us. No they are not curing cancer, but they are helping and all it takes is one jerk to leave a bad taste in their mouth. Sometimes enough to have them pull the plug.

As for business suggestions, you never know, maybe they could use the $ for Christmas.

Ok, I am getting down from the soapbox with one final (for today) THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Tully,
Thank you very much for your kind words. All of you for that matter.
I also cant say this enough, this was rusalka's baby. I just stepped in to get it off the ground. I was looking for a way to express my gratitude towards this community as a whole, and I came across this thread and it was a no brainer for me to take over. I've seen a lot of bickering lately over the classifieds and the new e liquid association. I felt it was due time we get back to what we are all about. People helping people. I approach several strangers every day who are smoking and I blow clouds of vapor around them and I proceed to give them a card and briefly tell them my success story. Well this was my way of helping this community directly.
Almost every member gave extra money. It turns out that it was necessary. 2lbs of the 30 is the same price as 3 lbs of 28. (thinner wire, it makes no sense) Also we had a few members who either couldn't afford the money or didn't have PP. So I was able to just say, you know what we have a surplus, so don't worry about it we've got you covered.

This first round went quite well considering we threw everyone for a loop by changing the process around. We've got it locked down now, and it will be smooth sailing from here on out.
I've got 1 lb of 28 coming Tue, and 2 lbs of 30 coming mid/end next week. So I'm thinking anyone that already got wire, can get 50' of the 30 ga. and anyone that hasn't got anything can get 100' of the 28 till it runs out. Then we will go from there.
Hows that sound?

Thanks,
Ken
