It's been a little over 3 days since I've had a cigarette. Sunday I smoked a cig, I lit it and put it out 3 times. Later I smoked half a cig, for science. I was showing my daughter the difference between exhaling smoke and vapor through a t-shirt. Monday and Tuesday, no cig at all. Wednesday, the thought of having one kept crossing my mind. My boyfriend broke the half cig I had left from Sunday. Today, I'm still thinking about one, but I know that I avoided it all day yesterday, and I have at least 2 vapes with me at all times, so I'm feeling pretty confident that I can really quit for good. I'm even a little proud of myself and wanted to share my small victory with everyone. I'm ready for a warm day so I can clean out my vehicles. I work outside and I remember last summer putting on sunscreen while smoking a cigarette and laughing at myself for being so ironic. I've smoked for 23 years. A non-smoking friend came by yesterday, he finds cig smoke offensive, and actually liked the smell of the vape (it was crackberry). I'm so thankful I have family to harass me to stop smoking, thankful for finding vaporizers that actually work and taste delicious, and thankful for finding this forum full of wonderful, supportive people.
Keep up the good work and happy

But seriously there is a little bit of investment up front and there is a lot of maintenance (compared to cigs) but in the end it is way way cheaper. Just be mindful of your batteries. Be sure to have a backup for your backup so you don't get painted in a corner and "feel" like you need to grab a pack since all your batteries are dead or your atty is all messed up. Have your back up plan in place now!
