36 mg Is this too much?

I ordered a bunch of stuff from china back in the middle of Jan and just received it today. In the mean time I have bought locally and been vaping for 3 weeks (working great for me). The order I received today has the 31 flavor sample pack with 36 mg nic, I have not used anything over 24 mg so far which seems to be my sweet spot. Is 36 mg ok or is it designed to be diluted? Also is it ok to mix different brands and flavors together to lower the nic level?

I wish I had of found this forum before I started would have saved a lot of money and wasted purchases. I wish i would have started out buying the vari-voltage battery with cartomizer and tank but then how would I have ever known the difference.

Appreciate any help you can give me.

36mg is safe to vape if that's what you asking (I prefer 28-36mg personally), but some people prefer to mix it down to lower their nic intake and also reduce cost per ml (PG and VG are cheap). It will mix fine with other juices, but you may end up with a flavour that tastes terrible (or perhaps just fantastic). Good luck.

You can dilute the juice you have with distilled water or VG which is available in most pharmacies.

Ok great, I thought I read somewhere in here not to go over 25 mg. I just mixed mango 36mg with juicy fruit 24 mg you know its not that bad. Stupid question when you ask for VG at the drug store is that short for something? Thanks for the welcome I think im good to go. More of a learning curve than I expected.

I find personally at 24mg, you start sacrificing taste for nicotine. I think my sweetspot is 21-22mg....

If it's too much, your next order can have 12mg which can be mixed with your 36mg to make 24mg at 50/50 blend. If you mix that 12mg in again to that 24mg at 50/50 you'll have 18mg. It's good to have stuff at varying mgs and some straight VG which mutes flavor and TH if you get a batch that is particularly rough or nasty tasting. I switch up as needed- only now, the 24mg is my highest for those rough times.

It'll not likely have the V, but is called Glycerin USP. It's on the shelf.
Just make sure it says USP.
I had to ask. 250ml. for 3 or 4 bucks.

VG is short for Vegetable Glycerine. Be sure to get U.S.P. VG. That's safe for human consumption. Some people report a funky taste with drugstore glycerine, especially the kind used as hand moisturizer. It's really better to get the stuff used in cooking. They use it to thin cake icing. Better yet, if you have the time, get it online. Bluemistvaping has it for $4 for 120ml. That's as cheap as I've seen it, and I make my own juice, so I've looked around a lot.

Be mindful that if you cut with alcohol or water or plain VG or PG, you're going to dilute your flavor as well. If you're mixing 24 and 36mg, you're going to end up higher than 24, so you might want to cut that as well to get it back down near 24.

The only problem diluting with VG or PG is you are also diluting the flavor. As Charlz mentioned, the best option to mix a higher mg level with a lower mg level of the same flavor. That way you reduce the nic level but do not dilute the flavor.

And I agree with the other comments, 36mg is not too high to vape. It's all an individual thing. It may be too high for you or just right.

Thanks sailorman, I dont want to loose the flavor. I will just order same flavors at a lower nic and mix.
I just figured out if the cartomizer seems to be getting a little dry just pull the top off a bit and push back down (not too much though or youll flood her). You get that cracklin sound and a big puff of vaper, man it puts a smile on your face!

More power to ya! I NEED around 24 to 36mg or else I find myself vaping constantly.

I use half vodka and half VG to bring down 36mg juices. Adds some throat hit (vodka) and the VG will sweeten up the blend a tad.

TPA has VG 16 oz for 8.00. That would be .50 per oz. Bluemist 4.00 for 120ml (4oz) works out to 1.00 per oz.

I also prefer lower nic levels, I thought I wanted more when I started vaping, but high levels make me queasy
